A nice stay at Baramee Resortel”
Baramee Resortel can be considered a good budget hotel. We spent 9 nights there, and we were satisfied with what they have to offer for the money that we paid. It's main advantage is the short distance to the sea, around 5 minutes of walking. Around the hotel one can find markets, travel agency with all kind of trips and nice restaurants. We bargained for 2 trips to the islands, for 5 people, and bought them with 50% discount from the agency across the street. The pool is not big, but at the same time it's not busy so there is enough space for everybody. The area is safe and Bangla Rd is 30 minutes walking dist. The hotel's rooms could use some renovation. The furniture is old and not all the rooms have a safe box. As others mentioned before me, breakfast is very light and unusual (ham in hot water) for a European. It offers the same things every day, but some of the food is more suitable for lunch (rice with butter, soup, grilled chicken pieces). Coffee is good and tee is also served.

Nice vacation with Baramee Resortel”
We spent 10 nice days in Patong, at Baramee Resortel. It's a budget hotel with good hosting facilities. The group had 3 superior rooms. We asked for quiet rooms, in the back, and the hotel staff fulfilled our requirement. The only thing to keep in mind is the fact that the last room on every level points out to an abandoned building and a backyard, and there are mosquitoes because of the vegetation. The rooms were pretty big, clean and with comfortable beds. Two out of the three rooms could use some improvements because the furniture and the TV are old, and the curtains could use a cleaning. Let's say that the pictures with the superior room doesn't fit for all the rooms in this category. The beach is very close, and there are many restaurants and markets in the area. We felt safe all the time. Bangla Road is 30 minutes away from the hotel, so it's easy to reach. Breakfast is the same every day, and for Europeans it's not what one would imagine. There are eggs, toast, pork ham kept in hot water (no idea why), a plain yogurt and fruits. The rest is food that we would eat later in the day, like rice, chicken stew, potatoes etc. Coffee is ok. Overall, Baramee Resortel is a good budget hotel, and I recommend it for people who don't want or can't pay for a Novotel.

Acceptable”
Hotel insists guests to take the hotel premium taxi to airport . It’s fare is 1000 thb instead of usual 600 thb. The hotel staff will not call Taxi from outside for guests . This is outright unacceptable practice which I only experienced in Baramee Resortel !! They don’t even care or assist us to get to airport just because we don’t use their premium taxi ! Agoda please put up notice for this hotel to forewarn potential guests .

Just OK”
Main dislike: It is a bit far of a walk from the central location (at least 20 mins.) All other hotels during our travel had no problem checking us in and giving our room before the 2PM time. This hotel was the only one that kept us until exactly 2PM. We went during the low season so... if Bangkok hotels can do it, so can they. Pool was ok. The bar deals during happy hour were nice. The food available as pretty good and decently priced. The only reason why I would not go back is because of the location.

Value for money”
stayed at baramee for 3 nights and we had a pleasant stay. It is very near to patong beach, many food outlets near by and free shuttle services to the city. Welcoming and friendly staff, had no issue with anything. If anything to improve, than its breakfast menu. Very limited choices. Overall, its a value for money, go for it :)

Great location at the quieter end of patong beach. Clean and quiet. Friendly helpful staff. ”
My partner and two teen daughters arrived at 3 in the morning after 28 hours of travel from the US/British Columbia Canada. We had made notes in our booking that we would arrive late. "Jonny" or "Joel" greated us by name. Was curious about the room set up and when I said the "ladies get the singles" he said "beautiful single ladies" and began singing "all the single ladies" by Beyoncé. What a great way to be greated at 3 am. It relaxed everyone and we had a nice laugh. Ben was our day host and was friendly attentive and helpful. He offered suggestions and was always quick to take care of us. The rooms were clean and comfortable and they accommodated my request for rooms on the same floor with adjoining rooms. The pool area is located on the second floor. Is private and has both sun and shaded area available. I would stay here again if visiting Pa Tong. I'm an experienced traveler from villas to hostels. This is a good value for location, staff, cleanliness and comfort.

It's decent depending on what you plan to do or where you plan to go in Patong”
Location worked out well for me and my group. This hotel was situated between my friend's party villa in the hills of Kathu and Bangla Rd/Jungceylon shopping centre. There are cheaper hotels that provide the same value for money, so it's not exactly the best option in Patong, but it worked out well for my travel agenda. It's a close enough walk to one end of Patong Beach, and there is a currency conversion, laundrymat and Family Mart (7/11 like retail outlet) right outside the hotel. One thing to note is that this hotel is sorta close to a Mosque. If you happen to be up in the early hours of the morning and you are trying to sleep, you may possibly hear the prayers in the Mosque being blasted out of a loudspeaker. Also, it's probably best to get a room at the back of the hotel on the highest floor possible as the hotel sits on a main road. Staff were quite friendly and accommodating.
