Find hotels near Barangay 13 in Ormoc, Philippines

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel, with 2 rooms for the entire group. The hotel picked us up from the ferry port with absolutely no problems, and they were very attentive and helpful on check-in. We had 2 deluxe rooms which were both very large, and with 2 large double beds. We had a little balcony/veranda area with each room which was nice to stand out on at night. We did have a tiny view of the sea, but I wouldn't say it would typically count as a 'sea view'. Our room was very clean, but the other room mentioned some problems with the sheet, although they had them changed immediately on notifying the staff. The actual hotel itself was stunning, it's kind of a horseshoe shape around an inner courtyard of a garden and a swimming pool. It's pretty nice waking up and walking out onto that as a view. But be warned, we found Ormoc to be a lively town even at night (we did go at fiesta time though), so while the hotel is tranquil, the outside world might not be. The hotel is in a very central location, and it is very easy to walk to the market streets and to the smaller Gaisano shopping mall. We didn't get much chance to eat out in restaurants in Ormoc (as we were visting family), but the hotels restaurant was very, very good. The breakfasts were always fresh, tasty and usually very large (the fruit platter is quite a large portion size, better to share). The hotel staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, I asked them to contact a number of people for me from the ferry companies to our next hotel and they helped in both instances. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other people.
