OK for a budget hotel”

We stayed 3 nights a Bareng Bareng Bungalows. The room was fine. Very basic - but that is what you pay for. Both the room and bathroom were spacious. The wifi is not really free - you get 3 hours free wifi a day and the passwords only works for one device! We were told the the password worked for 5 days but on the 3rd. day it didn't worked anymore. I complained about that the wifi password only worked on one device - because the receptionist told me that it would work on all three device (which we had) - after that the owner got mad at us and the receptionist but in the end gave us another password so we could use to devices. Despite the mad owner and bad wifi and all we asked on the 3rd day to extend our stay with 4 days. The receptionist told us that the only way was to book at agora.com - but we just informed her about our non worked wifi!! She didn't seem to bother so we checked out and found another hotel. If you have problems with finding the hotel follow the sign to Tropicana - It is practically the same place.

Budget accommodation in Gili Meno.”

A budget place to stay and the bungalow I had was basic with stand fan and locker. I had trouble finding this place as it is not along the main path. Follow the path to Tropicana and you will find this place. The beach is a less than 5 minutes walk. Bring indoor slippers too as there are creepy crawlies and insects around. Water for bathing has a salty taste to it but not exactly sea water. The lighting is considered dim for the night. Overall for a night on budget, this is good value if you are going to spend a lot of time at the beach and just need a place to sleep at night.

It was the cheapest hotel at that time.- don't know now. The purpose was only visiting the island so it was not bad. However if you are only new couple you might want to choose other.;-) Yes, it was hot but we stayed outside during the day and comfortable enough with two fans at a night. The water in bathroom was salty but not like the sea.. the owner said it's not a sea water, might be fillterd sea water. I'm not sure. Anyway, good to stay for few nights. nice restaurant nearby. We did not like the breakfast but not too bad only thing is that we felt strange tasty of a fruit juice.

Too hot, too far from the beach”

The hotel is located too far away from the beach. You need to walk around 10-15 minutes to get there from the jetty. However, there's a good restaurant near the hotel. But the view is not nice at all. There was no Air cond, so the room was too hot and humid. The water was a bit salty too. And there was no mirror in the room.

Comfortable stay in stunning location of Gili Meno”

I very much enjoyed my stay here. I could walk from harbour to the bungalow with my rucksack. The room was spacious, light and clean with comfortable double bed with good mosquito net. Big bathroom with adequate cold shower, nice balcony area to sit out on overlooking garden. Short walk to beach and restaurants. Nice breakfast with large mug of Lombok coffee and freshly made pancakes. Gili Meno is a beautiful tranquil island which you can easily walk round and explore. I would love to come back and would be more than happy to stay at Bareung Bareung Bungalows.

Room was decent and well made. Bungalow needed a bit of renovation and the bathroom could have used a little better cleaning. But For Bali/Lombok I didn't find anything cleaner, even in 4 star hotels. Great price, I would have stayed longer if they weren't already booked out. Perfect for 2-3 cheap nights in Gili Meno.

Hard to find and no staff to receive us”

We arrive to Meno island at night and finding the hotel wasn´t easy, it´s not well indicated and it´s kind of together with other hotels which makes it even more confuse. There was´t anybody to receive us once we found the hotel so we had to be asking around till someone called someone who had the key of the room.

Belle terrasse donnant sur un jolie jardin. Chambre propre, peu lumineuse et très mal éclairée. Très mauvais accès internet. Personnel souriant et serviable.

Très bien, bonne disponibilité du personnel pour résoudre les petits problèmes, espace calme et bien entretenu.

Séjour agréable dans un hôtel simple ; petit déjeuner bon mais assez limité ; pas de nettoyage de la chambre (on a un balai pour enlever nous-m^me le sable) ni changement de serviettes durant les 3 jours ; bungalows de l'hôtel dans le même jardin que ceux d'un autre hôtel, avec une gestion partagée, parfois de façon improvisée ; disponibilité et gentillesse des personnes présentes.

Kaum zu finden, schlecht ausgeschildert, nachts keine Beleuchtung auf dem Feldweg, keine Zimmerreinigung, minimalst möbliert, wenigstens hatte es ein Bett. Badezimmer alt aber sauber am ersten Tag. Elektrische Installationen defekt und gefährlich. Renovation dringendst notwendig.

Basico, interno, tranquillo.”

Posizione buona, a 100 metri dal mare ma bisogna camminare un po' per i punti più belli dell'isola che comunque si gira tutta a piedi in 1.30h/2h. L'hotel e' molto BASIC, sono bungalow con una verandina appena vivibile una stanza da letto ampia ma con solo un letto e un mobiletto. Il bagno ha solo acqua desalinizzata fredda, ma con questo clima temperato non è un grosso problema. Il condizionatore non funziona. Il wifi e' gratuito solo per la prima ora. Il giardino e' curato bene. Il mio consiglio e' prenotare la prima notte e poi cercare di meglio a sud di quello che chiamano harbur e contrattare sul posto in quanto costa meno! L'isola se fosse più pulita sarebbe un paradiso così è quasi un paradiso...

Soddisfatti: stanza ampia e pulita, bagno un po' antico ma funzionale, buona colazione. In una delle due stanze prenotate però mancava il condizionatore, che dato il caldo sarebbe stato molto comodo. Presenti zanzariere nel letto.

Fijn hotel op bounty island”

Bareng Bareng is een hotel dat op een kleine afstand van het strand ligt en op ongeveer anderhalf a twee kilometer van de plaats waar de boten van Lombok aankomen. De mensen in het hotel kunnen je ook helpen om boten te regelen voor bijvoorbeeld snorkelen, je naar Lombok te brengen of om je aansluiting vanuit Gili Trawangan naar Bali of Lombok te regelen. De huisjes zijn schoon en over het algemeen met fan of AC uitgerust. De kleine bungalows worden goed onderhouden maar trek wel je sandalen/slippers bij de ingang uit en vergeet niet je voeten af te vegen, want je kunt ongelooflijke hoeveelheden zand mee naar binnen slepen.
