Lovely place for very good price”
I absolutely loved staying at Basar Guest House. The owner is the nicest person on earth, super kind and very good cook. She runs place on her own, with 3 or 4 rooms all together. She treats everyone like guest at her own home. I will definately stay here next time when I m in Trat.

We stayed just one night at Basar Guesthouse but it was a really nice stay. The house is a beautiful traditional Thaihouse. The bed is comfy and there is a mosquito net. The host is very friendly and helpful. She had a map with everything important in Trat. In the evening you can walk to a nice nightmarket. Also you can eat very delicious things at the guesthouse itself and relax in the garden. We would definetly come back! Thank you!

Lovely wooden Thai house”
Wondeful wooden Thai room, so lovely. A bit hot during the day but it was ok at night. The room was clean and the food was yummy !! The deco is very nice, perfect with the global atmosphere. The owner is very kind and helpul. She ride me to the airport (taxi had a flat tyre) for cheaper than the taxi. Soooo kind !!! Finally, the night in Trat was a good stop before going back to BKK.

An Artist’s Paradise ”
The owner is a gem- so helpful and a great cook and host! Trat was my favorite day between Bangkok and Kho Clang. We also had a great meal across from the hotel and great drinks at the bar down the way. Highly recommend staying there and use the net when sleeping ;)

Good location and good vibration! we stayed in the studio room with fan and toilette inside (cold and hot water) .... the room is really nice and cozy and it looks like a thai Teak wooden house .... beautiful. Breakfast wasn't huge but still enough to start the day. Staff is really nice and helpful, they do as much as they can to solve any problem.

Bad: Except toilet paper no toiletries. In 'Room Facilities' it says: 'Satellite/cable tv channels'. No TV. Good: Friendly owner. Nice wooden Thai style house. Quite spacious room. Private bathroom, ok shower. Large bed. Mosquito net. Good WiFi. Short walk to 7-11 and ~15 min. walk to Night Market. Quiet, clean street.

The staff were very kind and friendly. The room was very cute and comfortable, great for the price. Good food too. It was a short stay but very pleasant.

I stayed with my two sons. The host was friendly and kind. I told her we want to use bicycles and she prepared a bicycle for my son too the next day. a Japanese man who helped the guesthouse at that time was also kind. No wall between the room and bathroom, but only curtains. But my sons liked the room. Thanks we enjoyed staying there.

This Guesthouse is the most wonderful place to feel like home. The owner welcomes you with open arms and always wears a smile on her face. The atmosphere is charming, the food is most delicious, the rooms are clean and the kingsize bed is most comfortable. We love it! We extended our stay because we didn’t want to leave her and her sweet home. Thanks for everything!

Lovely stay, even if the bathroom did turnnout to be more or less part of the bedroom (no door). However, the bed was comfy, and we were well tucked in for the night. The woman at the front desk is lovely, and helped us book our onwards fare to Koh Kut.

La habitación estaba pegada a la cocina y a la entrada de la calle. Se oyen todas las voces, motos, risas, charlas... La manta era pequeña para 2 personas, y la ducha requiere un poco de mantenimiento.

Très bien situé dans la vieille ville, beaucoup de charme pour cette vieille maison en bois . La chambre est bien équipée (frigo, TV, produits de toilette, bouteilles d'eau, moustiquaire...) et les hôtes sont aux petits soins.
