Good place at Good location”

I had a pleasant stay at Bastion Hotel Maastricht Centrum. Everything was nice and clean. The staff were friendly. The location is quite central and in easy reach with public transportation. I can recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Maastricht.

Been waken up by fire alarm at night”

i have stayed in this hotel during a weekend. although i realized that to find cheap to medium prices hotels in maastricht was almost impossible, i still expected a better service from bastion deluxe. the hotel was small and so was the room. the furniture was placed in a strange way that you could not find yourself very comfortable moving around in the room. the decoration was gloomy. no bell boys. on saturday night we were waken up by a fire alarm. every guest went down to the lobby and the reception staff explained the guests in dutch only what was going on. some other english speaking guests had to ask from firemen and the answer was that someone might smoke in the room and set off the fire alarm. the alarm still continued for a while after the firemen left. nothing bad happened that night but it showed a lot how much the staff cared about all their guests. plus there was no apologies when checking out the next day, as if it was a very normal thing happening usually.

Good, modern family-friendly with value for money”

We enjoyed staying in this hotel. It is modern and has many of the conveniences we looked for, at reasonable distance from the center and at reasonable price. The key attraction for us was the triple room, air conditioning (in the hot summer with temperatures over 30 degrees), breakfast bar and wifi all included, with nearby parking and the sauna represented an added benefit.

Lovely hotel with good facilities and Breakfast”

This is a lovely hotel. Room is clean, reasonable in size and bed is very confortable. Do request room at the back of the hotel as room facing the font road might be a bit noisy to stay in. Beakfast good is good in variety for continental style. Very close to market, in fact we have a market tour early in the morning and it is lovely.

The hotel is walking distance to the train station which is advantage for tourists coming from international flights from Schipol Airport. The room is of reasonable size with a great bed which has various types of pillows for comfort. The reception staff is friendly and helpful. One can take a bus to the city centre easily as the bus stop is close by.

A pleasant hotel with walking distance to the train station which is very convenient for tourists arriving by international flights from Schipol Airport. Easy to take a bus to the city with a bus stop very near by. Useful for tourists who do not want to use the expensive taxis. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room where I stayed is spacious with all the necessary facilities. Bathroom is well equiped. However, the room cost could be very expensive during the festive season.

This hotel is in an ideal location to the harbor and walking distance to the center of town. The room was suitable to our needs.

The only minus was that we had to park our car in another parking place. by the way. Location is great, beds where comfortable, clean room, breakfast was very nice. Staff was friendly. Absolutely value for money!

Grand floor room facing streets so always cartains are to be closed not to be seen from the passengers. Breakfast is good. Pitty that there is no vegitables. Near city hall, easy to go to shopping and to go to good restaurants nearby. When it rained, hotel staff said "there is no umbrella" to be improved for the customers who have no umbrella.

the hotels has a great location the city center is in walking distance. the rooms are clean but small and there is no room with king size or double bed. only single. rooms are clean. breakfast was simple but ok.

Such a poor hotel”

The beds were terrible, we were cold, no heating in the bathrooms, tiny rooms that 2 people can not move in, no double beds only twin and on laminate flooring they seperated by sliding easily apart. No soap provided not to mention bath robes. We hated it and if we could have found a better hotel at 11pm we would have moved
