The owner of the place is really welcoming and even shared his breakfast with me. Lovely view and great place to relax and enjoy the rice terraces.

Incredible views of Batad Rice Terraces”
Perfect place to stay to enjoy the picturesque surroundings. It is basic but lovely all the same - rooms were fine for what we needed. We weren’t so keen on the dishes, however there is a variety and you don’t have to go far for some dinner! It is definitely worth the difficult hike with your backpacks up and down the steep steps into Batad!

We had the best time staying here. Batad is magical and the views from our room were beyond our imagination. The food is good, the owners are wonderful as well.

Picture Perfect”
Tourist should not expect more on facilities as this is a more than 2.000 years heritage, The rice Terraces, just enjoy and chill with the view, The Inn just offer an accomodation for tired trek body...limited food choices so bring your preffered food but be ready for the terrain from drop off to the Batad Inn..

Best view of Batad Rice Terraces”
Imagine having breakfast with a view of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Batad Rice Terraces then hike down to Tappiyah Falls for a quick dip. Plus, they serve ridiculously good food!

Excellent service”
The facilities are adequate and functioning well. The location is good because it's not too far from the drop off point and it's high enough to give you an excellent view of the rice terraces. Mang Ramon, the owner, and his staff are very accommodating. They are more than willing to help you arrange your activities. Staying at the inn created a home away from home for me and my sister.

spacious with awesome view”
We stayed at Room 17; a corner room good for up to 6 pax. It is big, clean, and has awesome view in front and on the side. It has hot shower, which is perfect for a cold place. The restaurant entrance is detached from the Inn entrance, so you'll need umbrella to go to the restaurant when it's raining. I love their fried pork chop; it's crispy but not dry, and the seasoning is just right for me. Masseurs visit the inn at sunset, so you can arrange for a massage before going to sleep. The inn is situated further down the village, so be sure to pack light when visiting Batad.

Acceptable”
Toilets are bad and flooded, no hot water, food is awful and they consistently try to overcharge you for everything including the room..

affordable room and delicious dishes”
We are a family of four and stayed at a family room with three double beds and a private bathroom. Not bad, considering the reasonable price. The food was nice, even though it cost us almost the same as the room rate in case we had two meals a day there.

We enjoyed our stay very much! Glorious views of the rice terraces from this property”
We wanted to see the place, do a bit of trekking, and understand the culture and people of Batad a bit. The Batad rice terraces are just beautiful. Batad View Inn and Restaurant is also known as Ramon's Native Homestay and Restaurant because it began with two Ifugao native huts for accommodation, but has expanded; now guests can book a hut or a room in a 2-storey building with shared toilets/bathrooms. If you are after adventure and culture/people appreciation, you will enjoy your stay here, as we did. Mang Ramon's ancestors were among the first to live in the valley and build the terraces for rice planting and is happy to share his knowledge about the place. The restaurant food is home-cooked style and tastes quite good, real good value for the price. We hired a local guide to walk on the terraces, visit the village and pretty Tapia Falls (down and up lots of stairs). You can also hike to the viewpoint (more climbing) to see even more majestic views. I'd love to go back one day!

Simple, but don't expect any more here (and you wouldn't really want it either). Amazing view from breakfast and the room; just an excellent spot in a beautiful place

Misled”
We booked two rooms for 4 people on Agoda. They both showed as twin with a private bathroom. We wouldn’t have booked them if we shared a bathroom. When taken to our room, they were going to give us a shared a bathroom room. We told him his isn’t what we paid for. After much discussion, we got the one room with a private bathroom. The other 2 stayed in a shared bathroom room. Very misleading. Btw, be prepared for a hike down a hill and can be muddy and slippery. This includes both rock stairs and just stairs. Don’t carry too much and you need to get some directions when close since there are a few places to stay and this is further down the stairs. Food cost is reasonable and fair. View is great but cloud cover is in and out a lot. So most of our view was fog but we did get some breaks.

Place was awesome!”
I had a pleasant stay here in Batad View Inn (Ramon's homestay) They are of the same owner btw. Room was nice and simple, not really expecting flashy as the village is deep in the mountains. View was great! . The heaters weren't working at the time so had to do quick baths. Their staff are friendly and accommodating. I will definitely recommend!

Bang for the buck”
The place gives you a great view of Batad rice terraces. Hot shower is available which was a plus. The place is very cozy for an inn. Food selection is limited but this is in the middle of nowhere. Bring some canned goods if you are a bit selective on food. The owner Ramon makes up a good bonfire every night and tells stories about the place.

mixed feelings”
location is fantastic, standard rooms are alright, food is nice - shower doesn't work - don't book Ifugao hut (it's more expensive then standard room), it has mouses in the attick, it is impossible to sleep, we have no access to the toilet in the night. The hut itself is interesting though.

Hiker’s paradise”
Pros- beautiful place for hikers and nature lovers...nice view in the middle of banaue rice terraces Cons- our room was given to others and we paid for the same price for another no private bathroom. Don’t expect any heater in your bath. It’s a very remote place .
