Hotel is fairly new, design is so beautiful, it has indoor and outdoor pool, also warm water pool for children, complete with water and dry playground for your children. Perfect holiday getaway place. My children loved it, my niece and nephew loved it. Breakfast is best in batu. It is a definite place to go if you go to Batu for a holiday.

The singhasari resort batu was great hotel from all hotel in batu. Unfortunely just only 1 days i had stayed in here. Its not enough. The foods were great, I loved the fried rice and very a lot of facilities in here. Expecially my wife loved with the swimming pool. The biggest point in this hotel : all the staff very friendly and helpfull. Very recomended this hotel for family or couple like us for stay in here I will come back next year and bring my family

i went to Batu with my friends, i chose this hotel randomly without any expectation. it turns out the best hotel i ever stayed in (seriously, within the price i mean) . we stayed in the hotel (not the villa) in front of the infinity pool. the room was for 3 people so it was large. the swimming pool, breathtaking, if it wasn't chilly i would swim until late. the breakfast was great they serving Indonesian food and have some bread and western food as well. the restaurant also beautiful facing a valley and outbond area. we took a walk in the next morning and ended up taking so many great pictures since the villa area even more beautiful than the hotel area. Pros: - beautiful scenery - relaxing -large room -warm services - pool!! - breakfast -value for money cons: - they dont have on room telephone therefore we were given a handphone to contact the concierge - location: slightly outside the city, but good place for relaxing and since batu is a small city, it's not that far to reach the other part of the city definitely will come back again! no doubt!!!

Me and my colleagues stayed here, everything was good. Porters were helpful and polite,very friendly staffs..great location in Malang very near to the Batu Secret Zooand Batu night spectacular..Room is lovely and clean surrounded by beautiful gardens. I really like my stay at Royal Orchid Garden hotel, wish we could have stayed longer.Definately come back here for my next visits. The hotel is an excellent choice if you wish to stay in Malang..

First time to Batu and well worth the 2.5 hour drive from Surabaya. The location is beautiful and the Villa overlooked the town valley. Very rustic Villa with timber throughout... No aircon or fans but the mountain breeze is ample and so fresh. Cooking facilities are average and recommend to bring knives and an extra pot/pan.... We had to make do with their "one pot, one frypan and no knives". Not easy when your cooking for 4 people. Bring a book, some relaxing music and a iPod speaker ... Sit out on the balcony with a drink and just look at the mountains, the valley and smell the fresh air... Perfect just to unwind

It is our first time travellin to Batu and we had booked 2 rooms. The staffs kindly placed our rooms connected together (glad that there is connecting room). The beds are all twin beds but they are connected together to form a large king bed. The rooms are spacious and very clean and so do the common areas. For the price, the resort provides the facility that meets our expectations. However, we feel that the resort could have provided water free of charge similar to other hotels and that would make us feel the service standard to be better. We had incident where in the first night, we requested for additional bottled water and not charged, while in the second night, we are charged for additional bottled water (we did not cater for extra water when going back to resort as we thought we could have asked for more water). Breakfast was good in variety but the taste could be improved. Overall, I still would recommend this to my friend.

we have stayed as a family back then when our kid was 2.5 years old. by that time it was an excellent hotel (i think the best there is in batu at the time). two weeks ago, when our daughter is already 24 years old, we went back to the same hotel to meet with some family from different city. we were hesitating since the hotel would have been quite old by now, but most other newer hotel in the area were fully booked. so decided to stay in this hotel again. the hotel is now called kartika wijaya batu heritage hotel, and we realized that the hotel main building (where we stayed recently) were actually very well maintained and very clean. we learnt that the main building was actually built sometime in late 1800 or early 1900. there were no trace of "old antiquated" hotel in the rooms. obviously they have renovated and refurnished the rooms several times since then, but i think the last refurnishing of the room would have been more than 5 years ago or more but it still is in a very good conditions. this is not a modern luxorious boutique hotel but it is very good for family hotel. they have spacious greneries around the hotel compounds, the big tree in the front yard is huge and more than hundred years old. the hotel provides a very warmth family atmosphere pleasantly found in this heritage hotel and the staffs who are 100% locals are very helpful and well trained. we will go back to this hotel again if we visit batu again.

The concept is fresh, combining the chilly atmosphere of Batu and Japanese touch. The room is spacious, clean and very polish. They offer cottage type of room that might consist of 2 or 3 room, depends on your needs. The food is so so, but the view is extraordinary. The hotel also offers yukata rental and public onsen. For those who have not gone to Japan, must definitely try this hotel!

Hotelnya luas banget, asri, sejuk dan pemandangannya bagus.. saat paling menyenangkan adalah ketika kita bisa sarapan pagi dipinggir kolam renang ditemani suara ayam yg berkokok. Lokasinya pun sangat strategis setiap saya menggunakan taksi online drivernya selalu tau hotel ini karena hotel ini sudah masuk ke lokasi di aplikasi dan juga hotel ini memang cukup terkenal. Yang paling saya suka staff nya semua ramah dan helpful juga lokasi yg sangat strategis dekat dengan tempat makan tempat wisata dan tinggal jalan kaki ke Brawijaya pusat oleh2 meski agak mahal kalau beli disini. Jangan lupa mampir ke kedai susu KUD yg lokasinya persis disebelah gang keluar hotel..sarapan di hotel ini juga cukup enak dan banyak variasi menu. Saya mau balik lagi ke hotel ini jika kembali ke Batu :)

This is our second time stay at el Grande Hotel. Our family choose this hotel again because location near to Jatim Park 3 about 15 minutes by Grab. Our room in first floor. The room is simple and it's clean. To have breakfast, you have to walk outside about 5 minutes in other building. Breakfast menu is Indonesian buffet, not many choice but taste good. We love their porridge and Sayur lodeh. Overall this hotel is a good choice if you will visit Batu.

It was great and beyond my expectations. the atmosphere was great, the view was great, staff was ok, bathrom was really clean and easy to use even when you are with children of two. the food was good, the owner of the tekopi cafe was very friendly and nice. one thing though, springbed should've been more bouncy not stiff, in my opinion. other than that, overall was a nice experiment staying at the Arjuna hotel in batu malang. keep up the great work.

I went here with my mum & dad, both are about 60 who could get very whiny if they stay in bad place, yet they didn't (yay!) and they even asked me and my fam to stay here again in case we would go to Batu in the future. The hotel has just been built in May 2013, the facilities are still in the prime condition, it is located near Jatim Park 1 & 2 and BNS (Batu Night Spectacular), about 20mins ride to Selecta (Apple-Picking site), and you can see the bird-eye view of Batu City in front of the hotel. A nice place to stay indeed! But please note in mind that this hotel is in Batu, not in Malang, which means it is far from nightlife haha. During nighttime the hotel's very quiet--nice for my group, idk with you all.

overall experience is very good. we got a room on second floor with a nice view. we can see the misty mountain from afar. no aircon but it's ok since the weather in batu here is not that hot, maybe 24 c at noon and 18 c in the morning. breakfast is very good. on the first day they served nasi goreng and soto ayam, and on the second day they served nasi goreng and some kind of chinese food. all are great! the minus point here is, like other reviewer had mentioned, difficult to adjust the shower. its either normal water, which means very cold here in batu, or very hot water. so, taking a shower is kind of struggling to adjust :)

The location is so easy to find... You can walk to museum angkut in 13 mins... Mba Nina and friends were so amazing, once we couldn't find any transportation they helped us for providing... Even when we couldn't have time for breakfast because we went to bromo sunrise, they gave us breakfast to go. Don't forget to try the soto lamongan here (the best)Here you'll find luxury for a good price. Definitely will go back to this place if I visit malang or batu.

this hotel is very ideal for family stay because the room is soooo biggg! it's suprisingly newly decorated, very clean and tidy, and to me the big surpise was that they provided toiletries! toiletries never provided in small hotel. so, for you who don't mind using hotel towels, soaps, shampoo, tooth brush, and tooth paste (... yes, tooth paste!), you'll be very happy that you don't have to bring all those things during your stay in batu. especially towel, it's very messy to carry around, you know.... this hotel is highly recommended. i told all my other families about this hotel, showed them some pictures, and they liked it too. looking forward to stay in gradia hotel again
