The hotel staffs were very polite and helpful. Easy access to the beach, gift shop and mini marts. A little bit far from restaurants, but still within walking distance. Overall, great experience

Batu Layar experience”
Room condition was OK. But they didn't prepare the room for the additional mattress we requested. It was done only after we reminded them. We also wanted to hire motorbikes and waited an hour for it. In the end we gave up and used the Angkot to Sengigi. Food was ok and the kitchen staff were nice. Internet was good and fast.

Awful service and dirty room”
We arrived late - our flight was delayed- and the receptionist couldn't find our booking and told us to head up the road to a place up the road sharing a similar road. It was a massive hill in the middle of the night and not the right place. We then turned our data on to try and work out where the place was, surprise surprise it was the first place. We returned and the guy still said it wasn't right until we showed him pictures of the hotel on agoda and then he said okay. We were shown to a room which wasn't what I had booked and then waited until he got us a room and added an extra mattress-we are 3. the room was dirty with cobwebs and the wifi didn't work but too tired to complain we slept Hoping breakfast would be better..... It was not, we got up for 9.30 and crossed to where we thought it was. There was hardly anything there, Luke warm coffee/tea flies buzzing round a dirty saucer, cold and miniscule leftovers of Indonesian breakfast and cold fried eggs. I asked for hot eggs and got given the same cold eggs, I then asked again and got the reheated eggs from earlier. Rather angry I went to speak to the receptionist and was met with a smiling man who ignored everything I said, I even used a translator and he still couldn't apologise or offer us anything to soften the blow of paying for a nights stay and only staying for half, largely due to the incompetency of his staff. The only good thing about this place is the pool that we didn't get to use.

Schrecklicher Ort”
Wir hatten ursprünglich zwei Nächte dort gebucht, aufgrund der guten Bewertungen und der ansprechenden Fotos. 5 Minunten nach unserer Ankunft wussten wir bereits, dass wir dort am liebsten keine Nacht bleiben würden. Das Personal ist bemüht, jedoch meiner Meinung nach nicht geübt im Umgang mit ausländischen Touristen. Die Fotos auf der Website erwecken den Eindruck, dass die Hotelanlage sehr gepflegt ist und ich erinnere mich an ein Foto von einem Schild vor dem Hotel, wo auch Senggigi Beach darauf stand. Der Strand von Senggigi ist von dort aber 10 Minuten mit dem Scooter entfernt. Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße und die direkte Umgebung lädt nicht zum Verweilen ein. Das Hotel liegt zwar direkt am Meer, doch leider ist der Strand dort stark verdreckt. Die Hotelanlage ist sehr kahl, ungepflegt und ungemütlich. Das Frühstück lässt ebenso zu Wünschen übrig. Das Zimmer war nicht ganz so sauber, aber der Standard okay. Jedoch hat es in dem Zimmer sehr gestunken, eventuell Schimmel.

Nyaman sekali”
Kami tiba di sini jam 7 dikarenakan pesawat kami delay. Kami tiba disambut oleh gemuruh ombak di hotel ini , viewnya dari kamar kami adalah kolam renang dan pantai mungkin hanya 20 langkah sudah sampai di pantainya , ada pagar pembatas antara pantai dan hotel ini. Besoknya kami berenang di kolam nya tetapi setelah saya liat kolamnya sedikit kotor di dasarnya. Kami breakfast hanya dgn nasi goreng rasanya tdk terlalu buruk. Malamnya kami makan di restaurant yg jaraknya hanya bersebelahan dr hotel ini. Dapat di tempuh dgn berjalan kaki sangat dkt sekali. Saat kami kembali ke rumah ingin membersihkan badan , atap kamar mandinya bolong gentengnya keliatan. Kami takut ada org yg manjat dari sana dan masuk ke kamar kami. Tapi dari semuanya hotel ini sangat nyaman , bagus dan aman.
