Where to stay in Baudha Jorpati
Baudha Jorpati hotels & accommodations

The Hyatt is located close to the airport, which was the main reason for our choice as we had a dawn Everest flight the following morning. We spent the evening in the casino which was great fun and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. It was incredibly cheap (booked through agoda) for a 5* star hotel.

as an international traveler, i seek out the best hotels to care for my body, mind and spirit. hotel tibet is one of the best hotels i have experienced as a guest. i was immediately impressed by the gracious and friendly staff who wore traditional tibetan attire. everyone was was overly accommodating, anticipating my needs and provided excellent service. the atmosphere...

By far the best of the three 4-5 star Kathmandu hotels we stayed in during our trip to Nepal. Beautifully remodeled traditional Tibetan guesthouse in a quiet neighborhood just a 5-minute walk down a shop-lined street to the Boudhanath stupa. The staff is lovely and very knowledgeable; ask them for their recommendations! Our rate included breakfast, which was delicious ...

This was such a wonderful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Boudha. The hotel had an enclosed courtyard which was great with small kids and was about a 5-10 minute walk to the center. There are lots of shops nearby and it was quiet at night. The staff were great and although the internet was really only reliable downstairs, it was still consistent. Already boo...

If you’re looking for a hotel to stay in Boudhanath, Kathmandu, LOOK NO FURTHER THAN HOTEL GHANGRI. Perhaps you feel that you should stay right around the stupa. After my 18-day stay, I would advise against it. Ghangri Boutique Hotel is only a couple of blocks away from the stupa and in exchange, you will have an AIR CONDITIONED ROOM, NO MOSQUITOS, NO BARKING DOGS AT N...

Located in near by Boudhanath Stupa at quiet place , the hotel has sunny garden which is the best we like this winter. The beds and mattress are very new ,warm with comfortable.Just 4 Km away from airport which gives you best option for transit point with sight seeing in Boudha and Pashupatinath Temple. We would definately retun in next time as well.

I'm not realize that the air-con is excluded from their "standard room" when I booking from AGODA, because air-con is basic facilities for standard hotel. I'm not sure whether they are mentioned clearly or not but hope other customer won't face the same problem like me. Second, the corridor of hotel is not light, so when we go back at night we can't walk back to our ...

My husband and I were very impressed by this guest house. We would highly recommend it to both budget and non-budget travelers alike without hesitation. It is tucked away in the Boudha neighborhood of Kathmandu and only a few minutes walk from the Boudhanath stupa and many restaurants. We stayed in one of the suite rooms that faced the inner garden and it was a very pe...

This place has nice rooms and cold damp rooms. I booked a room for 11$ a night, but after Agoda added tax etc. I was charged 14$ a night so it was not as good value as I originally thought. The hotel is clean, staff is helpful, and you can easily get to the Stupa by taking a shortcut through Sechen Monestary. I would suggest to friends. There is also a nice garden for ...

Nice basic hotel near Buddhist Great Stupa at Boudha (ne part of Kathmandu). Gated courtyard with lawn, flowers, fountain, statue of Buddha, just off dusty main road. Not the Hyatt (which is down the road) but good for us common folk. Reasonable breakfast of eggs, toast, "juice" and coffee. Water at least warm for a shower. Quick local laundry service. Helpful staff. G...

I would recommend Ti Se to any traveler to the Boudha area. Price can't be beat. Bare Bones accomodation, but Friendly staff, clean rooms with attached bath, some with veranda. 10 minute walk to the stupa. Breakfast available for a price, which was a little high I thought. But the coffee was decent and a chance ot meet other guests was nice.

Ok, I stayed here for 3 nights, but spent most of the day going about my work / sightseeing. The hotel is in the same enclosure as the Buddha Stupa, you go in (pay some admission fee for the Buddha Stupa) and take a left. It's the third or fourth building on the left. There is no elevator, so whatever bags you have must be carried up by you to the reception on the f...

Pema Hotel's most outstanding feauture is its proximity to Boudnath Stupa in Kathmandu. Finding the hotel is difficult, so best solution is to call the hotel in advance of arrival in Kathmandu and have a taxi lined up to meet you. Sadly the hotel is, for the most part, shaded so the rooms never quite heat up. Solution is to ask for a room heater which we forgot to do. ...

100 meters or less from Boudhanath Stupa, PRK is one on the best places to stay if you're on a budget. Run by the monastery next door, this guest house provides a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff nice and friendly. Like most budget guest houses in Nepal, there is hot water for only a few short hours a day- but you have to ...

Room window overlooked the hotel the other side of the alley, it was very noisy, shutters of the shops below being open and closed, early morning and late at night. The bathroom and room were tatty. It needed a good clean, especially the bathroom. Hot water for a shower was available between 19.30 and 22.00, this was provided by a very noisy generator. Power available ...

A quaint beautiful building in an idyllic location with awesome views of the world around Baudha Stupa. Very clean, very comfy soft beds with great quality bedding and furnishings. Cosy rooms...one on each floor with en-suite bathroom. Views to die for, the only down-side is the big Buddhist bell chiming loudly very nearby at 4am each morning...but even that has irs ch...

I arrived at close to 12mn but they were able to check me in within minutes. Staff on duty (Kanchan) was really nice and attended to all my needs and answered all my questions. Room was nice, clean, and really homey. Coming back here for a 2nd time was the best decision.

I highly recommend Boudha Inn! I felt safe in the neighborhood as a solo female traveller and the staff all spoke English and were super helpful. The rooms are comfortable and the internet is totally reliable, which was a must for me to meet a few work deadlines while traveling. It's not in a super busy/noisy area at night, and they have quiet room options which don...

Butsugen is a new hotel in the heart of Kathmandu about 5 mins walk away from the Boudanath Stupa. It is family run hotel by a lovely couple who made our stay comfortable and safe. The rooms are fairly small, however in those small rooms you have the comfort of a western hotel with comfortable beds and covers and a good shower. Breakfast was very good. Staff are atten...

I booked the room for $10.69. When arriving was told it was $17 with tax and it was late and had no other options. Place was not clean bathroom hair in drai and filthy shower curtain so I did not shower. Asked about airport taxi for next day and was told 300 - 400 rps. Next morning manager offered ride and when arriving at airport demanded 2000 reps. What appeared to ...

We were greeted and checked-in by the friendly manager, Sunni, who continued to be helpful with arranging for taxis, recommending sights to see and sharing information about Nepal. After trekking in the Annapurna region for 2 weeks, Dipankara Holiday Home - Boudha was an oasis of cleanliness, hot showers and comfortable beds. The hotel is located deceptively close to t...

We loved this place, it’s beautiful, clean, the staff is amazing, you feel that you are truly in a fantastic place, and it makes the already great experience of staying at Boudhanath even better. Our favourite hotel in Nepal. Highly recommend, you will not regret it.
