Good money for value. Everything you need is available. Super friendly staff. Great shuttle service to key locations. However, whilst the room was generally clean, it smelled of sweat and food. Many guests seem to smoke in their hotel rooms. The smell would come into our room through the A/C. Very unpleasant.
No Facilites and Ruod staff”
You have to travel there if only you are in run not water no cigarettes nothing to buy and need to travel to get any simple things plus the old lady the Managment head or the owner of the place as I think behavior as it’s last place on earth the location was great but you can’t do anything or get anything as it’s far from everything the Resturant in hotel price is so high even for HK so if you are not traveling to relax and be with someone you don’t have to visit add to that staff in general not bad but they are given nothing and claiming more for nothing
Ask for available room in the morning for on day booking, duty manager Colin pick my call and disclosed suite only at $2100+, when i found website just selling few hundred dollars, he suddenly said their system was down cannot see how many rooms available, need to wait for reservation department on duty at 0915hrs, therefore, their system will back to normal, haha! Funny, eventually i reserved suit cost less than $1000, what my feeling is this hotel do not want to pick up any business in the morning, so quote me an unreasonable price. Upon check in, the receptionist will copy your id for registration, i tried to reject but she said they have to make a copy or i can not check in. Good to have vending machine in fitness room. Housekeeping team were excellent, all my request deliver immediately, surprisingly they have four type of pillow for choice. But the hairdryer was quite dangerous as the power cord was damaged, reception cut my line before i said the water took very long to hot
Realy nice clean hotel, large rooms.”
This is our regular stay for Hong Kong for many years. The hotel rooms are clean, bright and large, by Hong Kong standards they are huge. Day manageress is fantastic, but staff are luck of the draw for attitude. The restaurant is upmarket, pricy but good, it has happy hour everyday till 7pm so we sit outside and watch the boats sipping our drinks. Hote Bus shuttle service hourly to MTR and shopping centres in Tsuen Wan, also one to Tsim Tsa Tsui or the public bus 53 from right outside. Bus A31p from Airport.
If you want to escape away, it could be an option but better have a car, as it does not seem to have many public transportation that goes by. If your room has sea view, it can be quite nice. But mine is on the 1st floor, facing the road that has nothing to see indeed. The room is as shown in the agoda picture but do not expect the studio is a very large one. All in all, the stay is ok but do not have very high expectation
Not the best location, but nice location to get away from busy town. ”
Hotel provided free shuttle bus to near station. Many nice street food around the station. Not the best location but if you looking for a quiet place and big room to stay away from busy town this is very nice place to stay.
Very nice stay and service at Bay Bridge Hong Kong”
Very nice and large studio and great view of the bridge and more. The staff was very attentive and lended an umbrella as it was raining Sunday morning. Hotel is a bit far away but they have a nice shuttle running every 30 minutes. Very nice stay
A comfort place for escape”
Although the hotel isn't near any transportation and malls, it still a great hotel with superb view and services. The staffs were friendly and helpful, rooms were comfort and clean. However, the bathing place was a bit small. The view was great, the hotel were far from city centre and near the airport, it's a nice place for few days escape in hustle and bustle. The restaurant was great, different kinds of food served in the buffet section. Gym room was clean and tidy, several kinds of sport were included.
Housekeeping service was a letdown, staff were not attentive”
Pros: Spacious rooms for HK standards, close to my relative's place (otherwise I would not have selected this hotel), on-time shuttle service. Cons: Housekeeping service was inconsistent and on top of this, the front office staff were not attentive/ apologetic. I stayed for 10 nights here, and there were more than a few times when towels were not provided, dirty cups remain unwashed and the bed covers were not tidied up. When we called the front office (we're only back to our rooms either at midnight or after midnight only to find that the towels were not there and housekeeping did not do their jobs properly), they would insist we head down to the front office to get the missing items ourselves. Is this the kind of service expected from a hotel? Also there was another time when the front office person asked if we knew what card we placed to request for housekeeping services, implying that we did not know how to read the card we placed.
Overall great place”
Great room with a 5star view. Nice to be further out of town, where it was so peaceful, while the hotel still provides a free shuttle to the underground/train. Would definitely stay again. Staff were friendly, rooms clean and tidy, and the atmosphere was relaxing and laid back.
Worse than expected”
Was here on Monday night with my wife, mother in law and an 20mth infant, called on the day of check in to ensure a baby crib is avliable which they did on the phone. We were occupied during the day so checked in real late like around 11pm. No crib, no twin bed (the girl on the phone said the old deco suite can do twin bed but not the new deco one, turns out all the twin bed suite are occupied by long term residents already) took the guy at front desk a long time to sort it out but he did it well. So thumbs up to the front desk that night but terrible correspondence with the girl on phone while I called mid day. The suite room was quite wear out, some sharp object sticking out from the carpet, kitchen is empty with only couple of knives and a kettle only. Not even any coffee material or glasses. Booked buffet breakfast in the month for for $65/head, totally not worth it, the female reception at the restaurant was the rudest hospitality staff I have ever encountered in my life.
The Bibles are too high. distance from the subway station”
The room is very clean, the service is very well - behaved, the room is too far away, and the subway station is too far, even between the bus and the hotel, but every time, if the number of people will be in the next 10 minutes, the experience is very bad
nice hotel, nice facilities, nice staff”
thanks for the special free upgrade for my husband birthday. hotel room is very nice with good facilities like gym room, restaurant. highly recommend and will stay again. thanks for give us great memory in that special day.
Best Value for money ”
Overall this hotel is nice and quite jz located a bit far from town. But they provided shuttle bus service until 11pm. But if you need supper... You better buy it prior back to room. Few km to nearest 7 eleven. But they have in house beer house.
clean and spacious ”
in hk where real estate is such a premium, a spacious room is rare. to have found this gem of a place away from the hustle and bustle of the city is a gift. be prepared to spend a bit more for transportation as there isn't a metro station nearby but if you're ok with cabs to and from the hotel give this place a try. personally we preferred not being in the middle of the action so it was ok to have to travel a bit to get to a quiet retreat with a room not the size of a closet. :) :) breakfast was good, staff was nice and the view was spectacular. :) will come back.
The room was very big with a large bed. It's also great that we can sit on the bay window The scenery was relaxing. We love the river view. There was some space outside the restaurant for a walk to enjoy the view Shuttle bus service was convenient. We could easily get back to Tsuen Wan MTR/ West Rail station. However it took a bit of time to wait for the bus and travel The lobby had a modern and comfortable design. There were many comfy sofas
Nice staff, nice view, nice food ”
The staff called Karen provides good service to us. We got a sea view room that give us a unforgettable night. We having breakfast in the hotel's restaurant , the roasted chicken taste good. We recommend to stay here.
Cleaning not good, good service for receptionist”
The cleanliness was not really good, there was dusty under the bed, the amenities in kitchen was not clean, the stopper of bathtub was dirty. The good point is the receptionist who are a girl with long brown hair and a short hair girl and a tall guy with glasses, they all are good and serve me very well.
A hidden gem”
Spacious studio located in the suburb with a fairly spectacular view of the Tin Kau bridge in a distance. Not crowded, and delightfully quiet. The outdoor swimming pool is yet to open until summer, which is the only disappointment of this otherwise perfect getaway. Definitely returning for another short break in summer.
One day in HK”
We were just overnight. Worked well for us as we needed a place to sleep before an event the next morning. The rooms need to be cleaners as we found them to be dirty; just below our standard. All in all still a good hotel.
