Unhelpful and rude.”
A mix up with booking which he denied I had booked. Was able to prove it by my email. I paid $440 for 2 nights. Refused to reimburse me. He organized another motel for the first night which he paid for at $155. The other motel was miles out of town. So not suitable. On arrival at the first night motel they were able to offer a room for the second night at a higher rate as it was New Years Eve. I rang the second motel and cancelled early , they were appreciative and said they would not charge the manager. Then rang Phil at the motel and asked if he would pay my $440 to the motel I could have for two nights and I would top up the rest. He hung up on me. I had my 83 yrs old mother with me. It was not suitable for us to change motels as it's not easy for her. This man was rude to his wife in front of us. There was no problem filling the room as people were looking for accommodations. A very nice place with very helpful staff. The place was quite and calm which was good for a peaceful sleep. The beds and amenities were very good. Good place to stay if planning a trip to Tasman Abel National Park.

Honeymoon”
Our stay was great! My husband were on our honeymoon from the states and initially reserved a King studio however, after telling the owner Phil we were on our honeymoon he upgraded us FOR FREE to a king studio with a spa bathtub. It was very well decorated, quiet, and had all the amenities you would need to cook for extended stay. He also gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. Phil was by far the most attentive host we had on our 3 week holiday! Motel is located in neighborhood and we walked to local restaurant where I actually saw the southern cross stars for the first time. Just one of those things that I'll always remember. Thank you for the opportunity to share our awesome review of this motel. :)
