The manager and receptionist surprised my son with a birthday cake (with candles) and beautiful fruit plate plus singing at breakfast.

The resort has lots of menu options, we just didn’t like the quality of most of the food we ordered.

Phi Phi Bayview Resort is located on the sandy shores of Laem Hin Beach. The 70 villas are situated at the end of the beach among tropical trees, far away from the village to provide privacy, yet close enough to give easy access to the dining and entertainment options. Each villa offers views of the Phi Phi Lei Island and the Andaman Sea. The beachfront restaurant and bar serves breakfast and finishes with a spectacular sunset dinner. Recreational activities include a swimming pool with a Jacuzzi, sea canoeing, scuba diving, and Thai massages.

Excellent stay, quiet location with private beach and great staff”
We booked through agoda just a few days before so we didnt have many options on our room as the resort was full. We could only book one day but staff was nice enough to let us stay extra nights as they saved our room for us the next day! All the staffs were nice with good sense of humour. The breakfast was great with sea view. One of the most comfy bed I have experience all through Thailand. We tried some other resorts in Koh Phi Phi but Bayview is our favourite. They have some sunbeds and shades in front of their own private beach. The location is great, less than 10min walk to the center/pier. Opposite of the party beach so we could have a quiet relaxing night. The resort offers free boat transportation to the pier everyday on a certain time which was also great. In order to get to our room we had to walk some stairs but it didnt bother us. Almost all the resorts in the island is built that way anyway. Highly recommend this place!
Awesome resort on a paradise island”
we stayed at the bayview resort for 4 nights in october. like ours, every room is in a separate bungalow on the hill behind the lobby and restaurant. rooms are very clean, room service every day, with a/c, large bathroom, safe and balcony from which you could see the ocean through the tropical trees. no noise during the night. still, you have to remember that you are on a tropical island. thus, you can't avoid to have small insects in your room once in a while. but that's everywhere in tropical regions. breakfast was awesome, you can even order all kinds of eggs (scrambled, fried, omelette, ...) as much and as often as you want. furthermore, they had bread, toast, cheese, ham, jam, fruit, yogurt, muesli, coffee, tea, juices and thai food as well. i can't imagine anyone not being convinced by that buffet. staff is friendly, most of them speak at least a little english. last, the resort is perfectly located: about 10 minutes to walk from the centre of the town and 15 minutes from long beach, possibly the most beautiful beach on phi phi don island. all in all, i would love to go back there. never had a holiday which was that awesome before.
Nice pool, good food, friendly staffs, love it!”
My husband and I visited Phi Phi about ten year ago, and we love it. This time we want our 4 years old son to experience it. We had a great vacation at the resort. I was injured at the second day of our stay, and couldn't walk. I thought that was end do my vacation, but great thing that resort has mini truck that took us everywhere around resort. So we hangout at the pool and the beaches everyday. We love the Long Beach which is across from the pool and it quiet that you can experience the beauty of Phi Phi. We also love food there as well, chicken stey, crispy rools, margarita pizza, Tom yum, lab moo, papaya salad... The chefs can cook and I love authentic Thai food. If you want to drink, beside the club at resort, you can walk to town which is not far at all. It took us 10 mins walked at first night. There are many bars, shows on the beach. Overall, we had a great time. Thank you
Ideal location for couples and families”
The hotel is situated at the far end of Ton Sai bay and so is ideal if you want to be close enough to the action without having to be engulfed by it. Really enjoyed our stay at the Bay View because when you'd had enough of the bars and night life, you could slink off to your own little slice of the beach and chill at the hotel. Would definitely recommend the bay view, but will warn that Phi Phi itself has already been spoiled by the inundation of tourists. Felt a lot like Kuta in Bali. Hassled at every step.
Lovely Phi Phi”
We really enjoyed our stay at Bay View Phi Phi. The hotel is tucked away in one corner of the beach and is the last hotel you reach before crossing over onto Long Beach. It's far enough away from the main hustle and bustle of Ton Sai Bay, but close enough to walk in about 10 to 15 minutes. The staff were friendly, if a little busy at times, and the food in the restaurant was great. Only downside is that it is a little pricey for the quality of the rooms...they were nice but a little run down (clean though so that is a plus!) and we've traveled around Asia enough top realize that the accomodation is never at the standard you would expect in the Europe or the US. Overall a very enjoyable experience, although the next time we are in Phi Phi, I would try to find somewhere a little cheaper. Great Holiday!
Bay View Resort is located near Long beach. Just 10-15 minutes from it. So it is really convenient. Also town is approximately 10 minutes from the hotel. After arriving to Phi Phi, we were met on the pier and were delivered to hotel by longtail for free. Actually, we had to wait until 2pm to settle in hotel. Stuff is really friendly and helpful. But not all of them speak English good. We've booked 2 villas: one, for me and my husband (Deluxe villa with kingsize bed) and second one to my sister (Superior Villa with two separate beds but while booking we checked special request - kingsize bed). Superior villa was 33 dollars cheaper for 3 nights. While checking in manager asked what bed should we preffer in superior villa and we told, kingsize. So our sister had villa 33 dollars cheaper also with king size bed. The only difference between these two villas was that deluxe villa was for 10 metres closer to the sea. Actually almost all villas has view to the sea. The territory is really beautiful. The pool is too much chlorinated. We've asked for sleapers, and they gave it us for free. There wasn't robe in superior villa, and after asking it they gave it also for free. Great view, great location. Every villa has balcony. Breakfast is delicious.
Another place we loved”
we booked this hotel for 2 days. but after check in we regret why we had not planned to stay more in phi phi island so that we could stay longer in this hotel. thought it is a bit challenging to reach the hotel by walk, it is the most beautiful hotel i have ever stayed in phi phi. the view from our bungalow is stunning. in the left side open sea, in front mountain and sea and in the right mountain and sea beach. i can spend days just to be remaining in room. the view is so beautiful. the service is very good. all the staffs are very helpful. the breakfast is very good excellent. i will definitely stay in this hotel if i visit phi phi next time.
Great hotel with great location”
i think it's great during our stay in phi phi don. my gf and i traveled to phi phi. we had a great time there. there was a private beach in front of the hotel so that you can enjoy the sunshine there. it's a little far away from ton sai bay. but it's very quiet. so i think it's a good deal.
Fantastic, but I should have booked a better view!”
The Bay view resort was an excellent place to stay, and helped my wife and I to enjoy our time on Phi Phi. The rooms are fantastic and the beach is beautiful. You can also book tours and snorkeling trips without leaving the property, as they have a tourism representative there all day. I only have two regrets. One, that I was able to stay for longer, and two that I would have booked a room with a better view. I booked the "garden view" room and our balcony looked directly at the back of another building, but some of the (slightly) more expensive rooms by the same resort were stunning.
superb views - BAY VIEWS”
My wife and I spent 5 beautifull days at the Bay View Resort on Phi-Phi Island. We had cabin B211. A very large cabin with a queen size bed, a large balcony with lounge chairs and a large ensuite. the views from our bed were superb and we enjoied nice evening drinks on the balcony. the cabins are sorounded by a beautiful rain forest. we spent some time at the pool where we had nice drinks and very relaxing massages particulary we enjoied nice dinners on the beach; food was great, service and entertainment were superb. transfers to and from the Jetty went without any problems. we recommend this resort and we will be back next year.
The Bay View is at the end of the track from the pier. they picked me up in a longtail boat but the sea was too rough for a return jouney so the luggage was taken back on a wheelbarrw followd by guests on foot it is about 15 minutes walk from the Resort to the pier I had a quite large bungalow with a quite large bathroom I had stayed at ac ouple of places on Phi Phi before and thiw room was larger and the bathroom larger than the other places. i had a commanding view of the ocean from mu unit and it was quite pleasant to sit and look at the view and not go into the town. the restaurant was a bit more expensive than restaurants at similar resorts in Thailand
bayview is in a great location to avoid being in the centre of party town on phi phi but close enough to easily walk to all the bars and restaurants, and also to walk to long beach on the other side. you can get a buggy up the hill so don't have to walk up too far. the pool is big with a good bar. the bungalows are fantastic. and either way you're in lovely tropical gardnes. the hotel has its own little beach cove to itself out the back and then you can walk 10 minutes to long beach. in the other direction it is only 10 minutes to all the restaurants. at night the room is quiet. breakfast was on the beach and good.
This is the second time have stayed at the Bay View Resort. The location is perfect. Just out of the way of the main town which is only a 10 minute walk away. We stayed in a grand delux villa which is on the front row and the view of Phi Phi Lay is stunning. This is why we stayed here again. We met the general manager, Cuprit, who was so welcoming as were all the staff. There have been changes since the last time we visited which have improved the hotel. Breakfast and the bar area are very good with a wide range of choice. The only thing that could be improved is the swimming pool area although the beach is stunning so we didn’t spend much time there. Can’t wait for our next visit 😎
amazing time in phi phi”
loved it at bayview. although the rooms weren't as luxurious as what you might get elsewhere in thailand, it sounded like they were much nicer than other similarly priced resorts. the best part was the location; being a short walk from the action, on a nice beach, and away from the noise of the town. the views were really nice also - could see phi phi leh from our room! had a great time.
Bay view resort”
We really enjoyed our stay at the bay view resort. The view of the bay is very nice from the hill. The hotel is not for tired legs cause the bungalows are up in the hill. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffe was excellent and the Restaurant was overall very good. The hot water shower worked very well. We had a view of the bay from the toilet. The cleaning was very good. If i go to Phi Phi again I will stay at bay view resort.
Good value for money”
We stayed at this hotel in June 2011. Good points about it: it has a good location, just 5 minutes from the center of Phi Phi but away from the noise and right in front of the beach. The staff at the restaurant are super friendly as is the norm in Thailand. The food was also very good, including the breakfast which is very complete. it has a massage parlour right in front of the beach. Not so good points: rooms are all located up hill which means you will have to walk uphill to get to them and some of them are quite far (however, i did see some kind of golf cart they use to transport people and bags, so you might want to check this if you have any mobility challenges). the beach right in front of the hotel is quite small but at least you could get in if you want to, which will definitely not happen if you stay near the center of tonsai bay since there are boats parked everywhere and no beach. the amenities are the same as any hotel in thailand (ac, coffee machine, complimentary water, safe, tv, telephone). the aspect of the hotel is not a strong point, it is quite basic, but from what i saw many others are pretty much the same... the ones that are "nicer" are also much more expensive... one really good thing is the amazing view from the restaurant, this is just as amazing as you see in the pictures.... overall, if you are on a budget then definitely this is a good choice...
Great location with nice bungalows”
This resort is located perfectly. It is at the end of the main beach on Phi Phi. Since it is at the end of they beach it stays pretty quite. However, since Phi Phi is so small it is a short walk on the beach or along the pathway to the center of town. The bungalows were very roomy and ours had a large patio facing the beach. The only complaint I have is that the water pressure from the shower was weak. I guess they need to conserve water because they are on an island and fresh water is limited. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. Overall a very relaxing resort that is in a great location.
Good place and nice view”
It's walkable from Ao Ton Sai Pier, the passenger port to Phi Phi Island. You can walk along the beach to reach the lobby which is in open areas facing the sea. Laying on the bed in villa, you can see the blue or green sea down the hill. Amazing and wonderful place to stay in Phi Phi Island.
Paradise on the beach”
I had no idea what to expect when I stepped off of the Phuket-Ko Phi Phi ferry. The skiff picked me up at the dock and the staff was very helpful. I loved the layout of the resort, but prepare for a lot of uphill walking--it can get quite slippery at times. There were torrential rains day 2, but the complimentary umbrellas and smiling staff made it manageable. Do not book tours from their tour-desk, my full-day tour was rained out, but I would've been happy to transfer it to a half-day and there was no one there to help me do it when the weather changed around noon. Breakfast, massage, pool bar, and views were very good!
Great Stay, Everything you need.”
Stayed here for 5 nights in October 2016 and have nothing but good things to say about the hotel. At the end of Phi Phi Don beach and if you contact the hotel in advance a longboat will collect you from the ferry, if not its a 15 minute walk! Room was great with tea/coffee/Sat TV, not that your in the room that long. Breakfast is fine eggs/cereal/ham/fruit/etc. My only other comment is that the resort is on the side of the hill, so some of the rooms are a bit of a trek and the hill is quite steep, but I'm 55 and whilst you are blowing a bit it was fine.
