Arrived, no room available despite booking and paying ahead of time

Great sized room”

Clean, roomy room with a couch. So much nicer than the bed-in-a-box style rooms I’ve encountered at many similarly priced motels. Definitely recommend!

Not a good experience”

I was there for a night with my family and two young kids. We arrived at Baybrook almost at 10pm after few hours of drive. Despite I booked a Family Deluxe room via Agoda booking and I had the booking evidence available with me, the gentleman at the reception showed me that the booking was just a normal room, which was quite surprising and that would not fit for our family. The gentleman even informed that Agoda booking was not accepted, and I will perhaps need a new booking. It took over half an hour discussion to settle the issue, while my family and children were waiting inside the car. Fortunately, he accepted the booking and gave us a family room. It was not a good experience dealing such issues. The room cleanliness and facilities were good though.

Enjoyable and pleasant ”

I stayed at Baybrook for 2 nights on a recent business trip. The place exceeded my expectations. Everything was very clean and organized. The owners took very good care like setting up the air conditioner to the right temperature so that I could have a good sleep. I’d definitely stay here’s if I come here again on personal or business trip. Arif

The remote control that operated the ceiling fan and light over the kitchen did not work. Assume that the battery needed replacement. The exhaust fan in the bathroom extremely noisy particularly during the night when using the toilet. The exhaust fan comes on with the bathroom light. A $25 replacement fan and 15 minutes work would overcome this problem. There is a sign on the wall advising that the provided microwave is the only cooking appliance that is to be used. This is fair enough but there is no advice (either via a sign or in the compendium) as to how you wash the provided crockery or cutlery. Discovered by default that the soiled crockery and cutlery is replace on a daily basis. Each unit has an allocated parking bay. When management was advised that another vehicle was parked in our allocated bay no attempt was made to find the vehicle owner and arrange relocation of the vehicle. This would have been so easy as all vehicle registration numbers are recorded by management.

Lovely staff, everything you need in the room. Stayed on a particularly cold night and it was still comfortable in the room. Would definitely stay there again.

Very simple. If you want a clean bed and AC that’s what you will get. Small rooms. Everything worked. No frills accommodation.

Super quite. Extremely relaxing room. Fantastic WIFI. To be honest the wifi at baybrook can only be explained as 5 star. The pool was a little grubby. So much so you probably wouldn't swim in it. But apart from that everything was perfect. Love you Baybrook

Will stay again”

Despite Agoda/Hipmunk/etc giving errors and no confirmation that my payment had actually gone through or whether I even had a booking, I enjoyed my short stay at Baybrook. Kim was extremely accommodating despite the fact that I was running extremely late for check in (sorry Kim!) and the room was clean and had everything I needed to recharge and hit the road the next day on my travels further north.
