Upon arrival was told right off that pool and hot tub was shut down. If it were shut down shouldn’t have been advised as having them. Other than that got to my room, and the toilet wasn’t properly tightened to the ground. I got some drink for my fridge, and when I opened it got a terrible rotten smell. Sticking up the room. So went to front desk to switch rooms. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice, and helpful. However, once in my new room the bathroom was gross. Lifting up the toilet seat, and seeing urine, wind hair in the toilet. Along with the staff working telling me that they couldn’t give me a single bed because “ we keep the drug addicts in those rooms, and keep them together. “ this is not something that makes a person comfortable or happy about staying in this hotel.

The pool and breakfast was closed, even though website said it was open. The bathroom shower hose was duct taped on. There was no mirror in the bathroom. Even though we were not disabled, we were in a handicap accessible room. The shower chair had tears in. If I needed to use it, I would not. Staff was not friendly or accommodating to any if the issues we had. Highly disappointed!

I have stayed and worked at several hotels, Including this one years back and i must say i was alittle scared when i first booked in here with the recent tries at our other local hotels being very unsettling But after checking in I realized It was still one of the better hotels around here I am a ocd so i always end up recleaning when i enter anywhere anyways but my room was clean not the most updated but there was alot of new as far as the furniture and tv they had be updated more recently with a very simplified yet comfortable fix nothing extremely fanacy but still nice, I believe Highly In giving correct reviews this is a older hotel and with that you dont always get the updated sound proofing rooms where you dont hear other guest other people are in the hotel and yes you hear them time to time but its mainly a door closing nothing major I have been here for awhile since i had to extend my stay and I havent had any troubles..

Dark & not very inviting”
Walked into room just felt very dark not inviting. Then looked at the bed and no pillows at all. There was pillow cases tho. Checked the bathroom and tub had the silver part over the faucet missing. Definitely need a chair in the room as well the room was a king and had enough room to add a sitting place. Breakfast was not stocked and checked. There was one biscuit and a large pot of gravy for a long time. Finally just went to get breakfast. Front desk blamed there was new management training people to do things the right way. The whole stay Just never felt very inviting from the first step in the door.

Nice facility. Our room was clean and spacious. The sink and tub were old and falling apart which seemed odd for an otherwise great room. My foot almost went clear through the tub floor. When I reported this I was informed that replacing sinks and tubs will be the final phase of the renovation the hotel was going through. This explained a lot. It will be fantastic once finished.
