nice place but recently the roadworks make it difficult to travel the roads . bayside should have proper lighting so out of towners can see the location clear from distance , put up more signage boards from side roads . the staff is good especially night shift , day shift staff sometimes impatient when when bookings that why i prefer online sometimes . rooms are nice but for price we paying at least provide bottle water and tea cofee sugar . otherwise its nice , wish your kitchen was open though , its hard to get food in the evenings in port shepstone .

Taj Hotel offers a choice rooms based on one's personal budget. In fact, there are rooms for every budget. Some rooms are cheaper than B$Bs giving the customer a wide choice depanding on their choice. Staff are friendly, professuonal and ver helpfull. The only negative is non functional tv from time to time but this can be easily sorted out. Guven an opprtunity, I will book again a Taj Hotel room and will not hesitate to recommand it to friends and relative. Thank you Taj Hotel for you hospitality.

Value for money: we got on a special so was really good value for money. If I had to pay the official advertised price I would find somewhere else to stay Cleanliness: wonderfully clean rooms are modern but when we went the Wi-Fi was not working after being told there was Wi-Fi Area: not good Shabeen on bottom floor so loud noise until 12am every night This hotel is a work in progress and has been recently bought by a large hotel group so there is still some way to go. Upon first arrival the place looks like a dump on the outside but don’t worry it’s good on the inside. Please just at least paint the outside to make it more inviting.
