Great location, very good service”
Bayview Hotel is conveniently located in Tumon and the Tumon Trolley Bus line stops right in front of the hotel. During my first stay in the hotel, I was allowed by the manager to have a late check-out until 4pm without additional charges which was one of the reasons I came back this hotel. On my second visit which was a peak season, I was requesting to extend my stay in the hotel (since my pick-up time to the airport is still at 3am the following day), but the hotel was fully booked. They, however, extended their service by helping me find a hotel where I can stay even for just a few hours. Room is big and comfortable and DFS Galleria, as well as other prominent shops are just nearby. I'll definitely be back in this hotel.
Excellent”
It was our first time in Guam and we chose Bayview because it was recommended to us by a friend. We arrived at the hotel before 6am and we were given a room right away. However, my cousin noticed that the carpet near her bed was soaking wet, which was probably coming from the aircon. We called the front desk to ask for a change of room and our request was immediately granted. The people in the reception area were very kind and attentive, especially Roxanne who was very helpful to us. The bed was great, we were able to sleep soundly. We weren't able to try the food in the restaurant though, but it's probably good too because it was always full. We would definitely stay again in Bayview if ever we come back to Guam!
Hafa Adai Raymond, Thank you so much for staying with us and for sharing your feedback on your recent stay in our hotel. We are grateful on your commendation, we will definitely advise Roxanne about her hard work. See you on your next visit on Guam. Kind Regards, Jasmin Quiambao Sales and Marketing Manager
Hotel was pleasant surprise. He”
The hotel was a pleasant surprise, particularly after reading reviews that were all over the map. Staff was helpful and friendly. My wife (a Korean-American) particularly was impressed with the Korean Associate on duty for networking her to key elements of the Guam Korean community which made our stay a great success personally. Room was generally comfortable. DId notice sheets were 'damp' my first night, but after unpacking clothes, notice they were 'damp' next morning. This is to be expected in a tropical setting where any dry material acts as a sponge and absorbs atmospheric moisture in and out doors. AC worked fine (in fact it worked too cold). Room cleaning service was outstanding. HOT water. Generally available. Hours between 5 and 6 am has heavy hot water usage because of Japanese contract workers staying at hotel who need to start work by 6 am. A computer for guests is available but uses Microsoft NT 2000 software, making it unusable to a Windows 7 user. However, Mr. Rafael, the hotel manager, arranged for me to use a computer occasionally in their business office and that worked very well for me. Restaurant is rated a B for food, and a B plus for service. I found the lighting a bit dim, but that seems to be true all over Guam. Overall summary: A pleasant surprise, well worth the money and a great experience. Would go there again.
Great location and big room”
I stay in Guam for 8 days and I stay at Bayview for 3 nights, 2 nights on 6th floor and 1 night on 9th floor. The Bayview room is big and clean, The hotel enjoys a wide over view of the Tumon city and sea view in right hand side. The breakfast is home feel.It takes 3-8 minus to dinning restaurants with many style of Italian, Japanese, Korea and Western Grill and bar, even by walk for 3-8 mins in two locations. There is a bus station in front of the main lobby. Only a few stations can reach the biggest shopping mall (Micronesia Mall) in Guam as well as K-Mart. As close to shopping centre, I can walk to hotel even if I miss the last free DFS bus. I save a lot on taxi fare. But the hotel is bit far away from Grand Premium Outlet, it takes about an hour to go there by bus.
lobely hotel and service with a smile ”
i and my hasband were the first time to guam ,it is a nice experiencs while we stay in bayview . firstly ,the front dest peoplare are very friendly and helpful ,they offered us the information for the rent a car and the nearest supermarket etc., the room was clean and comfortable . the room has mecirowave ,it is very nice and convinent to have some food to be cooked . so next time ,definately we will choose this hotel again if we go to guam .
A Nice Place to Stay”
i only stayed here one night but it was a pleasant stay. the hotel is a little older than others in tumon but it is well maintained. for the price and location you probably won't find a much better hotel in tumon. you can easily walk to all the best spots for dining, shopping, and partying in tumon. anything else is a short ride away on the trolley. the hotel provides a wired internet connection in the rooms free of charge and there is wifi in the lobby area, also free. the rooms in the wing i was in have doors that face outward (to the north) so if it's raining (which it does often in guam) and the rain in slanting from north to south there is a good possiblity you will get a little wet walking from your room to the elevator and vice versa. other than that this is a very reasonable hotel for your stay in guam.
Friendly, lovely hotel”
We had a very pleasant stay in Bayview Hotel Guam. The hotel is not grand and new but clean and practical. Rooms are spacious and the beds are big and comfortable. Their staff are friendly and courteous. The hotel room rates are very reasonable. Location is accessible. We will recommend it to our family and friends.
Always a great choice”
i love the bayview hotel and will stay there each and every time i'm in guam. i happened upon the hotel with a flight/hotel package the first time. it was such a pleasant stay, i've returned twice since. the location is great, its comfortable and appointed with everything i need and has awesome views from each room. every stay has been excellent.
Great service!!! ”
we really enjoyed our stay at bayview hotel. the location was great, just ashort walk to the beach. the hotel may not be 5 stars but the service was definitely great. upon check in the manager approached us and asked how we were, and to let him know should we have any concerns with our rooms. the service really felt personal and the staff were great. front desk was always ready to help us with our plans and tours. the rooms were spacious, we had a great view of the bay. internet was also availabke at the lobby. breakfast was included but not a buffet, nontheless it was great and it filled us up. limited choices only but we dont mind :) would definitely come back. this hotel is great!
Good for family with young children”
good location (close to shopping malls, restaurants) This hotel charges airport transfer fee of USD 12 per head (so we booked Miki Taxi service which is only USD 20 per trip + USD 1 per luggage to/from airport). Clean, nice and big rooms with good view of Tumon bay skyline and beach. Access to beach is about 10 to 15 minutes by foot (need to go through Westin, Nikko or Guam Reef hotels beach access). Micronesia mall is about 20minutes by foot, if you want to spare USD 4 bus fare per passenger (especially for family with large number). Has in-room microwave oven, coffee maker as well as ice machine in hotel floors.
Bayview Hotel offers a perfect view of Tumon Bay ”
While it would take more than a few steps to reach the beach, Bayview Hotel Guam offers a good value for money for the discriminating traveler. Some of the hotel reception staff lack customer service skills, although when Filipinos man the reception, expect world-class hospitality and warmth.
Hafa Adai Alma, Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your feedback on your recent stay in our hotel. We are looking forward in welcoming you back soon. Kind Regards, Jasmin Quiambao Sales and Marketing Manager
awesome place”
the bayview hotel guam is an awesome place for walking and visiting all the places near the pleasure island. the hill is not bad at all, and the night view is also good. the small problem is about the pool.(that is too small to enjoy swimming)
Free WiFi - Excellent Location - Staff very helpful”
We enjoyed our stay at Bayview Hotel Guam. The view from the balcony is very nice. Location is perfect for us, walking distance to a lot of restaurant, the beach, shops. Free WiFi in the room with good connection.
Hafa Adai Mignon, Thank you so much for staying with us and for sharing your feedback on your recent stay in our hotel. We truly appreciate your awesome comment and rating. We are looking forward in welcoming you back soon. Kind Regards, Jasmin Quiambao Sales and Marketing Manager
Good choice!”
Lovely hotel within walking distance of Tumon. Rooms were bigger than expected and had an awesome view of Tumon and the ocean. The staff here were friendly and very helpful with giving us directions or advising us on how to get around. Unfortunately wifi is only available in the lobby but we expected that so, no big deal there! Will defo recommend Bayview to anyone visiting Guam!
good CP ratio considering the room with ocean view”
Nice view facing to the Tumon bay and Guam plaza water theme park. Hotel room is clean but the building is a bit old.
the hotel u may wanna stay in”
the best thing this hotel could offer me was the reasonable price per day and free shuttle to airport literally late in the night at like 2 am which was much in need due to my flight schedule. the front ppl were friendly enough and the inside of hotel itself was nice, tidy and relatively spacious for 2 ppl. meanwhile, about a location. pretty accessible taking only a couple of minutes to the tumon beach by foot. it was solitarily on a little hill though. and pool they have was literally poor. so i was forced not to enjoy a swimming pool that time around. and i couldn't use free wifi in my room. so i had to go way down to lobby to use wifi. aside from some little things... overall, it was a lovely hotel anyway :)
I will stay at the Hilton next trip to Guam.”
The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The location could've been better, but was OK. Major complaint(s): The "high speed" internet - wasn't. Staff at the desk were very nice, but did little or nothing to rectify the problem. Bayview "free" wireless gave me access only ONE time out of the almost week long stay (May 28-June 1st) I was there, and it was painfully, piss-poor S-L-O-W. The was a LAN cable, but a note attached to it saying "do not use - it will disable the wirless network and you will be assessed with a $50.00 charge!" I needed (repeat NEEDED) internet access to do my work - and I didn't get it. I went to the Hilton Guam and used their hot-spot wireless . . . . VERY GOOD. I did address the wirless problem with the Bayview staff. No rectification . . . . nothing. I was on the 8th floor to the Northwest . . . . . should've had a signal. Went into the lobby at the Bayview to try to work. Signal marginal at best (not to mention, the lobby was muggy due to the fact the sliding glass doors on both sides constantly opened and closed due to the people going in/out of the hotel). Would I stay there again? Probably not. Especially for business as I absolutely MUST HAVE connectivity. I will spend the extra $$$ at the Hilton. Dining options in the hotel at the Hilton are convenient. The Delmonico Steak House in the Bayview was "supposed to be open" for breakfast; it was not. This was my first trip back to Guam since I left in 1993. Overall, I like the improvements in the roads, the cleanliness of the island. It WAS nice to be back. Bayview Hotel is lacking. That's too bad. Reminds me of the inefficent Guam of 1990 . . . . William Heckler (808) 224-0365
Reasonable price and good service”
airport pickup and drop off service is free and the room is big. they have a terrace in each room and you can see the tumon bay from your room and the night view of guam. hotel staff was very nice and when you ask questions they are willing to help. it is close to dfs which is very convenient to go everywhere.
Great Location”
the hotel has nice location. the room is clean, spacious and has complete amenities. it is overlooking the sea.it is very near to almost all shopping centers and dining restaurants. you can either walk or take some bus ride. transportation is never a problem as most buses will load/unload in front of the hotel lobby. the hotel lobby staff were very accommodating and courteous. they assisted us in arranging for our tour in guam. the hotel restaurant is prompt in serving our breakfast.
"so nice place"”
