Compared to bayview Langkawi and bayview Penang, the Melaka is the modest version. The hotel is old but well maintained. The room is cosy and medium size, with large king bed, sofa, tv, wifi, amenities (water boiler, iron with iron board, hair dryer etc.) and toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.). Our room facing the sea, can see the ships from far. The breakfast is ok ok, quite a variety of menu that have nasi lemak, fried kueytiow, fried rice, plain porridge, chicken porridge, dimsum, bakso, bread, croissant, banana pancake, tea, coffee, juices (mango, orange, guava). The pool is clean, at level 4, same level with cafe. Have kid zone at level 1, simple one. Two level for car parking, during our stayed, there is plenty of empty parking. There is MyNews store and KK Mart in front of hotel.

We are family of 6 with 2 golden age parents. Went to the front desk for check in and there was 2 guest waiting in to check in. We are the third. The manager in charge quickly attended our check in. Then he himself sent us wheelchair and help to sent my mother on wheel chair to the lift. What a wonderful service and very helpful man :D Although the hotel was a bit old, the management took serious effort to maintain the cleanliness. The furniture inside our 3 bedrooms was spotless and hardly any dust. Located in the middle of the city and nearby to main attraction of Melaka City. The service of the staff is what made the Bayview Melaka distinguisable from other hotel of the same class. Way to go Bayview Melaka!! :D

The rooms are clean and service by the staffs are good upon our requests, but sadly that the family karaoke only opens 3 days, Thurs to Sat only. Should opens more days. The TV channels for Visions channels were not working during our 3D2N stay,.. but we were given additional breakfast request.

aircond not functioning well ~ really old school type, even when we set to low temp. & leave the room not cold at all telephone provided not functioning ~ is it just for decoration? we tried to using it to call the front desk, not receiption or line heard from it laundry bag not provide? you guys need to learn from other hotel shower need to change laa ~ its about to fall apart tv provided really old school ~ even my grandparents's tv is the latest one, equiped w/ netflix & youtube. you guys dont know what is smart tv isnt? go buy a new one laaa with the money you guys collected soo far! we paid almost 500 per night but the stay was not that comfort hmm, really disappointed

We are family of 7, including 2 parents of 70 years old. We booked 3 rooms. Kudos for manager in charge who was personally helping one of our old family member out of the car and getting her into the wheelchair and he personally send her to the lift with us. Also he speedily attend to our check in procedure when seeing our old parent waiting in the lobby . Although the Bayview is quite aging we are more than happy to find that hotel rooms and bathrooms are kept clean, neat and tidy, bed and pillow was so comfy. Overall we are happy and more than satisfied stayed at Bayview Melaka. Last September 2024 we also choose Bayview Batu Feringghi, Penang. We are a frequent Bayview guest since 20 years ago( when my first son was only 3 years old) No wonder Bayview Group of Hotel still going strong despite decades of operation when many other 4 and 5 star hotels already out of business!! z Cheers to Bayview Melaka !!!
