Simply Nice”
For a developing city like Ormoc, this resort is comfortable enough to stay. The surrounding is clean and simply nice if you just want to relax or get out of the hustle and bustle of city life. Hotel rooms are clean, blankets and towels are clean. Food is good but limited options. However, you can easily go to the city proper if you want sophisticated foods. Staff are courteous and helpful. Overall, this hotel is really OK to stay particularly for family bondings or an overnight stay for business travelers.

I stayed for one night. Staff in the reception are not so friendly i might interpreted them as not friendly because they quite grumpy when you asked them and not smiling to the guest. I might choose some other hotel in downtown if i will comes back in Ormoc City.

Good budget hotel”
This is just a basic hotel, there are no bells and whistles, only the bare necessities, a bed or 2 depending on your room, our room had a small refrigerator, and a Samsung digital TV. The bathroom is so small it's almost non-existent. The rooms don't have baths and the shower isn't even a real shower per-say, it's merely an electric shower head installed in the bathroom. Having said all this, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and they have a snack bar at the front desk with everything from sweets, to crisps, sodas and beers. I usually grab a big bottle of Red Horse, and I'm sorted. :-) They also have a very small swimming pool, and they serve breakfast as well. The location is not bad as it is located just walking distance from Gaisano Riverside, sari sari stores and eateries. As I stated before, the hotel itself is just basic, but the prices are very cheap and if you're on a tight budget, it's the way to go! Me and my wife will stay again.

Not too many options”
There aren't too many hotels in Ormoc City. With most of them fully booked, I ended up staying here. If you're used to the amenities of a normal hotel, I suggest you don't go here. The rooms aren't cleaned daily. The towels are quite thin and there's that feeling that it wasn't laundered properly. The TV is small and the channel options are limited. Once in a while, the TV signal gets disrupted and there's nothing much to see. You need to wear slippers when you go to the shower as the floor isn't that clean. Water pressure for the shower is weak. The pool water is on the green side, proof that it needs a strong dose of chlorine to kill those algae. However, you'll accept all these if there are no other options left.

Nice, and has more potential”
The plumbing and electric inside the rooms needs updating, but everything still worked fine. The staff was excellent, with friendly service. The food was good, and brought right to our room table, on request. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The bay water front ..is used as a dump, unfortunately.. but has the potential, to be turned it into a scenic view, to watch the sun set

Ormoc Bayview Motel”
Great place and will stay there again. We wanted to grill outside the room and the staff provided the grill. Downside is the beach is dirty and needs a major clean up. There are working to renovate the swimming pool and still repairing typhoon damage to some unused buildings.

Relatively quiet place with big open space and nice small balconies in front of all the rooms, located on the ground floor. Simple but nice and friendly staff.

well its quiet to stay in this hotel, kids love the swimming pool near in gaisano river side,but a bit far to buy food,but i like to stay in the room and watch star movies, and HBO and sometimes go outside and watch the ocean.

It was ok nothing to brag about”
The only thing I liked was it was walking distance to the mall. Other then that every time we ordered food we always had to make another choice for not having the food item in the menu available. The Main door even though was locked all you had to do was pull on it a little hard and would open up. When it rained it would leak inside your room and water all over. The pool even after cleaning it the water was green have no idea why when every other pool in the Philippines have blue clear water. They really need to focus on customer service to remain open....

Just for a Night comfortable enough”

Not impressed”
Not impressed at all. Leaking pipe in bathroom, water all over the floor. Door lock that does not lock. Reported but nothing was done. Asked for extra pillow and was charged 35 p extra each night. Asked for jug of hot water for making tea, was charged 60 p for each jug. Had dinner there only one night, food was delivered cold and not worth eating. Staff sat in foyer watching TV or on their mobile. Had to request for toilet paper, towels, and to have room cleaned and rubish removed.

Good overall. But really bad housekeeping , dirty bath room. , towels and bedlinen. Beautiful garden though.
