Baywalk Residence

Overall was very good. I was here during Burapa Bike Week (3 days) with a motorcycle. Great parking with good security right next to reception entrance. The only ‘but’ would be car parking. Only about a dozen spots.

Wow people must have super low expectations to rate this hotel highly. Everything about it was average or lower except the room size. Internet slow or not working, shower warm not hot, tv picture poor reception, breakfast poor with the staff neutral with no manners. Aircon broke and flooded room with water, TWICE!

Those two are all we need as travelers. The place has greatest location in Pattaya for sure. It is close to every tourist attraction, and right in front of the Pattaya beach. However, bed and WIFI are two most important things for travelers. Bed was very stiff (this is personal preference, and definitely not mine) but more importantly, WIFI did not work for entire stay.

Staff was great. Rooms were ok. Television selection was poor. WiFi was horrible. If hotel corrects WiFi and television problems, I would recommend. Until they correct those issues, I will not return.

The aircon was not working properly .we booked one Nouveau room and one deluxe room but were allocated two Nouveau rooms on check in. The mistake was grudgingly rectified when brought to front desk staffs attention. My wife and I have been repeat guests of your fine establishment since 2011 and have nothing but fond memories in the past. Our stay was still enjoyable but feel the wonderful Baywalk standard at dropped a little bit. Thanks

The rooms are getting old and worn. I booked a superior room which looked nothing like on the photos. The TV was still an old style box, no flat screen! Furniture chipped and worn and AC loud, old and outdated. The WORST part is AWFUL wifi, cuts in and out all the time, slow, if you got kicked out you need to relog in again from the start, including re-entering username and password. This experience of bad internet was common TWENTY years ago, but it's 2019 and having stable internet that works is and should not be an issue. As I work online, I had no choice but to go OUTSIDE and work every day from Starbucks. Lastly, the breakfast buffet lacks choice, every day the same and only acceptable for a few days. If you stay longer than 4 days, you will get fed up with the limited choice. I didn't use the gym, but going by the state of the rooms, I assume that is in the same run-down condition. After 1 night I paid extra to upgrade, that room had at least a flat screen and better AC.

Big room but empty, bed was hard and pillows where awe-full, large and not soft, Hotel was clean but no water in room, had to buy the mini bar water, everyone is drinking in Pattaya and at this price no comp water is bad. Shower was weak and did not maintain temperature, either boiling hot or ice cold, all in all a average to bad room at a high price, many other options in Pattaya more worth the money.

Stayed here many times. Very consistent. The rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, clean bathroom, good shower pressure, good air conditioning. The staff ALWAYS very friendly and welcoming. Even the housekeeping staff always have a smile. Location fantastic. Right opposite the beach, on the songthaew route for easy access anywhere, easy walk to walking street. Breakfast up on the roof overlooking the beach is great. Good breakfast selection catering for Thai and Farangs. My only choice in Pattaya!

This is a very simple hotel with smiling service. Location is excellent just next to the beach. Pool is quite good for the money. Rooms are very basic but clean and quiet. Can recommend for singles, couples and families.

It was a very pleasant stay there with all the modern basic facilities, infront of beach and close to Walking Street. Next to hotel you will find kfc , burger king if you are more into non thai food. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Its best for couples.

Great place. Staff are ultra-friendly. Rooms are huge. Bed is comfortable. Good shower, clean bathroom. Location is 100%. Right opposite the beach. Easy five minute walk to walking street. Songthaew is at the front and back entry, so 20Baht to get anywhere else in the main Pattaya area. Breakfast on the roof, overlooking the sea is excellent. Caters for Farang as well as Thai. Only downside, the internet is a bit dodgy, and the fitness room could do with some new equipment.

You are walking distance from everything. I spent 26 days here and had no issue with noise or anything else for that matter. Right next to Mall with 24 hour Grocery Store. Surrounded my restaurants, bars, massage, anything you want. Two blocks from Walking Street and Buddist Temple. Ocean right across street. Staff as amazing...Thank you so much.

To be honest, very little at this hotel was worth the money I paid. Room was of good size. I paid £70, for one night's stay. In reality I should have paid a little more and stopped at a higher class hotel. The breakfast was limited in scope and apart from the view of the beach nothing else was worth mentioning. The only plus point I can say.. I earned 550 Gulf Air Miles. I would look elsewhere to stay for sure.

Hotel located right on Beach Road with tons of restaurants & shopping outside your door. I’ve stayed here over 20 times. The rooms are great with large walk-in shower & the staff is even better! So friendly! The same with the breakfast staff too! Nice breakfast with a great view of the water. My only complaint is the WiFi. It sucks! I’ve complained for years to their management but they never do anything to fix it for their customers. WiFi is very important for international travelers! If you want this to be a great hotel with minimal cost, FIX THE WIFI!!!!

Awesome View. Awesome Location. Good Breakfast. Good Indian Restaurant behind the hotel (Wah ji Wah restaurant with Room Delivery). Nice and polite staff. We had an issue in 1 of the 2 rooms that we booked. The washroom had a damp smell, for which 2-3 time staff came for countermeasure, but didn't find any. Finally we managed with room freshner and kept the AC switched on even if we were out. I just consider myself unlucky on this as i feel other wise the hotel was very good and staff was also polite and prompt. I wanted to book it again for New Year 2019, but its already Sold out in Oct itself!!!.

I was very satisfied with my stay after being concerned with a few reviews. Breakfast and room were good, staff and location excellent. Swimming in rooftop pool was better than the beach. I have observed many westerners expect too much when traveling to Asia.. If you want Marriott or Hilton standards, then pay three times as much and stay there instead. Location, staff, and food are an excellent value. Hotel was clean and safe. I will be back and recommend this hotel to anyone.

very very good hotel and location. nice big rooms.its much batter then the pictures.all stuff are very friendly and helpful. have free parking. nice breakfast with rice on the menu. highly recommend by me.. I loved the hotel

I take multiple showers a day which is very typical for Asians visiting a hot and humid country. I requested extra towels from housekeeping, they informed me to go to the front desk, odd reply. The front desk said there is a fee, several hundred baht, for an extra towel. I have never been to hotel that charges for extra towels.
