    Too expensive, $ 350 / room, night. Water quality of swimming pool is too foggy and cloudy to see 1 meter and so salty. Cannot swim in the beach because of seaweed. Recepcionist was kind but a restaurant employee was so so. The hotel has a very good view to take a photo. They serve shuttle bus to Alonabeach every 1 hour. Food is delecious and generous. Finally, I would re-visit if the price were below $200

    Facilities were good, rooms are clean and very modern. Easy regular shuttle bus to the beach. Relaxing cliff top views. A lot of staff but the service is still quite slow with a 30 minute wait in their restaurant. Would still consider staying again though

    Hotel staff and management are very accommodating, i asked for some help and a few favors during my stay, and they were all happy to provide what they could and even went above and beyond just to provide us with a memorable roof deck dinner. Ambiance, staff attentiveness, and food were all excellent.

    The room was large. Bathroom modern & clean w separate bathtub & shower. Sluding shutters from bath open to the room. Balcony was spacious w resort & oceanview. The pools are large and amazing. There's a large sand portion, man made beach. The oceanfront is quite rocky. For a nice beach you need to go to Aolna beach just 5 minutes drive. Staff are friendly & professional. Food at resturants was reasonably priced. The included breakfast buffet was just great. Lots of variety.

    Disappointed bigtime, waste of money!”
    Pros: Nice place, facilities Cons: No wifi (technical issue) with no contingency plan (back up). A pocket wifi is not merely a resolution when the signal is so low hence connection was not good at all. Kids breakfast fee, upon booking and confirmation, inclusion says free breakfast as kids are free to stay with two adults, if this was not free the booking confirmation shouldve mentioned that kids should pay the breakfast fee but there was no such notice. We were harassed by the staffs asking to sign for the payment for 5 or more times, once is okay and understandable but 5?! Unreasonable! Which would lead to my comments in lack of staff coordination. Shuttle service from resort to Alona has no fix time yet they have "scheduled" time when it is not being followed and theres no strict falling in line. Literally, first come first serve. Breakfast discrimination with Chinese/Taiwanese and Filipinos!

The staff was okay, not so impressive.. you could feel that they were just going through their day. woukdwoukd be nice to have that exrraexrra ummph of staff service... would also be great if they would give updates/follow throughs wirhwirh requests and inquiries. too many noisy chinese also, can be overwhelming😬

    After staying at few hotels at alona beach, with disappointing experience by the overall facilities, I decide to upscale for this hotel, very nice cosy rooms, pools and location, great deal so far. Seafood buffets was nice

    The resort area was clean and well maintained. I felt very calm and able to relax in the atmosphere they have created. Super friendly staff, almost to the point to much much filling caffe/water after just a sip in the eateries. Food selection in the morning buffet had a good variety and was run very-very professionally! Cleaniness in the room I stayed in was satisfactory as well. Receptionists were professionals and diligent. I tried the spa with their signature massage, that was a rather disappointment - 4/10. All in all it was well worth the 50% discount I got through Agoda and I would happily recommend the place for family and friends. Thanks for a wonderful stay :-) Regards Andrew

    I paid $421 per night and stayed for 3 nights over the New Year period. For the amount of money paid, you would expect something grand but it’s pretty average. There is no proper beach and the pool looks cloudy. My suggestion would be to stay somewhere like the Hennan. BE Grand is overpriced for the type of hotel it is.

    Overall its a well run place and have good food. Staff trying to be at a good service level. Good with boat trip arrangement directly from resort at same price as in nearby beach area. The daily cleaning is OK, but they seem to miss out the weekly and monthly routines. On the negative side seem to not have adjusted routines to keep out ants and other insects to enter the room. I kept them easily away with mosquito spray and it last for 2 days. It seem they promote a green running of Hotel but have failed to follow up maintenance of water flush system in toilets, which can keep running 24 hrs around, 3 tried-3 had problem with this. The massage seem to be for them normally not having it. To loose and not a the std I am normally used to.

    When we arrived our pickup wasnt there and we had to wait half an hour. When arrived at the hotel at 8Pm our room still wasn’t ready. Since we travelled all they we wanted to take a shower and have dinner. They made another room available for us to take a shower but that room wasn’t cleaned. There were hairs and nails on the floor. Our own room had a great location and was really spacious but also wasn’t really clean. Somehow every day we got locked out of our rooms and had te reactivate the room key. There seems to be a staff problem cause it was very busy at the desk every time we had to go there, although to staff seems to work really hard (probably they need to hire more people for the size of the hotel). Also te pool wasn’t clean so we didn’t use that. The boathouse restaurant is a big plus staff was really friendly and the food was great.

    I stayed here overnight. The place had good value for money with regards to facilities. The front desk staff at that time were largely inefficient. They led me to a room that was unprepared and said that our rooms were adjacent (They weren't.) Took me multiple calls to follow up on the progress of my room. One hour after officially checking me in I still had no room. I had to personally go back to the front desk to follow up ky room status. I was largely ignored in favor of foreign tourists that they were just checking in. They were courteous but had horrible inefficiency in handling my concern. It felt unfair that foreigners that just arrived got their rooms earlier than I am.

    It was a pleasant experience staying in BE Grand. Although it was a smidge away from Alona where most of the usual people go, you would find a lot of things to do within the resort. If you are the type who just stays put in your hotel, this is for you. Rooms are functional and very straightforward. They have bidets. Rooms can get excruciatingly cold. Oh yeah... I saw large pool can double as ampitheater. Could use more items on the menu. Drinks a little pricey. But tastewise, everything is spot on.

    Experience the real Filipino/Boholano hospitality”
    My husband and I were very much happy with our stay in Be Resort. The hospitality is fantastic. The staff- from the front desk to the dining were courteous and helpful. All of them would love to attend to our needs. The manager in the food department took time to talk to each person during dining (just to catch up) and made you feel important and valuable guest ( remembering our names was impressive)?! We love our stay in Be Resort because of its location- so serene away from the hustle and bustle of the hub of Alona Beach, and if we want to join the crowd it is less than 5 minutes away. Our room was always kept clean and tidy twice a day. The breakfast food had lots to offer. We stayed in this resort for seven days and main menus have never been repeated. The desserts are to die for. So delicious! The gym is well equip and maintained. I have no negative comments to say. But Be Grand Resort cannot be 'grand' without the staff. They are the ones who make this resort fabulous to stay.

    I guess the Hotel is Overrated!”
    1. You have multiple INDOOR POOLS in the ADVERTISEMENT but we were allowed only to use the 2 POOLS! 2. You bragged about your BEACH but we never were able to swim... we have to PAY to swim at DUMALUAN: 3. SALTY POOL was acceptable as you have no BEACH to swim... but SALTY BATHROOM WATER is DIFFERENT! 4. Need to IMPROVE your LUNCH and DINNER BUFFETS...

    Dear Jude, Thank you very much for sharing with us your feedback during your most recent stay with us. While we do not have indoor pools, we have the main and kiddie pool for all guests to use, while the lagoon pools are exclusive to the Villa residents as shown on our official website. While we are a clifftop resort, we do have a marine protected area which we are stewards of as we are aiming to conserve the marine life. While swimming is doable, we advise our guests to take care as we do not remove any marine life -- corals, seaweeds, and the likes -- from the sea as this goes against our role as stewards of the marine sanctuary. Due to the water availability in Panglao Island, we had to re-route our water pipes which caused the bathroom water to be salty for a few hours.     The property is beautiful, with several dining options and a roof top bar that can't be beat. Spacious pool, although the staff told me they were cost to fully booked, I never felt crowded. Excellent breakfast buffet. Steakhouse is terrific. Great wine selection as well. Rooms were clean, security was never an issue. I will definitely be coming back.

    nod bad breakfast. nice conditioning room. cozy bed. but little expensive for the van service. we argued about this when we rent a van for the citt trip. price was different with driver and reception. they didnt say sorry about that... but nice view place.

    A great discovery”
    I came across BE Grand Bohol by chance as I was unhappy how South Palms Resort mandatory rules on paying for a buffet dinner which we will not be able to avail. Choosing BE Grand did not disappoint me or my visitors from the US. The rooms were big, beds comfortable, bathrooms spacious. We stayed at the 4th floor which gave us a perfect access to the roof deck to enjoy the sunrise and have cocktails to wait for the sunset. The F&B manager and chef were kind enough to accommodate my friend’s Gluten Free dietary needs! I would love to stay here again and maybe try the Villas on my next stay!
