Didn't get the room I paid for...”
I paid for a sea view but they were overbooked and only got a poolside view, which is a lot cheaper room. Very disappointing. Staff and rooms are good, but you are too far from Alona Beach. Ripped off, I won't stay here again.
Everything was perfect. Nice facility and quiet and beautiful beach with kayaking. Value for the money. Shuttle bus to the beach center. If you need to leave early morning, they can prepare for your breakfast as well. Nice service.

Pros- beautiful resort. Awesome views, staff very friendly boholano reception. Very helpful crew. Couldn’t ask for more. Cons- food expensive compared to Alona beach. Paying more for tours through the resort gives you peace of mind but you can find cheaper elsewhere if you want to barter with taxi drivers.
Beautiful place if you want to have private time with your loved ones. Foods are very limited and pricey so this place is for you if you have money to burn👍 some staff tho need to be aware of their service, I noticed some of them attends to foreigners more than with locals. Be fair! Overall our stay was beautiful.

Excellent resort in Alona Beach”
I wanted to stay in another resort but since that is fully booked, i ended up at Be Grand. It turned out to be a much better option. It wasnt crowded, so many things to do in the resort itself and it is right by the reef where colored fishes and other marine animals are located. The room is big and clean. And so is the pool. The food is great as well. A great affordable hotel option that I would definitely recommend.

Got the requested room. Nice partial sea view and star gazing at balcony! Thanks to Sheila. Friendly staff with welcome drink and refreshing towel. Resort is nice overlooking the blue ocean. Free shuttle to Alona beach. Breakfast is nice.

Excellent but need to improve”
Staffs are very friendly, near Alona Beach , good location. Good for family to spend holidays in there because there are so many facilities for childrens and adults. Bad things are : 1)water for shower is not hot enough and water pressure is also not good. 2) there is loud noises from toilet bowl after flush

If you want to travel Panglao, Bohol for relaxation, this resort is highly recommendable.
Great hotel and value for money ”
This was a wonderful hotel, it’s in a great location and is very luxurious. There was a lot of little details that surprised us, such as gifting a water flask and a call to check in to see how our stay was going. We wish we could have stayed a little longer.
This resort is very nice The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. No preference for any staff member because they are all happy to help and communicate well Problem is there are no umbrellas around the fantastic pool they have only deck chairs Hard to enjoy the pool when you are cooking in the sun!! Food was expensive and only just okay. Have to say the water served at the Monkey bar and one of the others was tap water on ice and tasted yuk!!! They say the water is not potable but serve it on ice. Not sure about that set up I will go back one day maybe
Very low quality for a 4 star hotel”
The check in experience was really bad. It took more than 1h and they lobby was very hot. They ask 2000 pisos per night deposit, which does not make much sense. The breakfast buffet is very Chinese focused, if you don't like Asian food you don't have many choices. They do not clean the floor and the dust the furniture properly. The water in the bathroom is not drinkable but they provide with mineral water. There is a water and ice station per floor but it was always hot and we never saw the ice. The transfer to Alona beach starts around 11am so don't rely on it. The seafood buffet is ok, not amazing and expensive if you compare with other Bohol restaurants. In general, comparing with other 4 stars hotels we have been the value is very poor.

Nicely designed resort”
Resort, rooms, pool and grounds were nicely designed. We only had a problem with the food which we didn't think was very good in any of the restaurants (though didn't try the high end one). Also not ideal to enter the sea from here as no real beach, but it's easy to get a tuk tuk or shuttle to Alona beach. Overall I was impressed.

Not for me ”
Felt like I was in Beijing or Seoul rather than the Philippines, the hotel was packed with people from those countries. Kids screaming outside the room from 6am. Beach very poor and covered in green algae. Bohol itself and Alona Beach is terrible and dirty. Nothing to do or see at night, about 2 bars only and all in all, the best bit about Bohol was leaving. I am afraid Bohol for me wasn’t my favourite part of my holiday, however the Air Juan flight from Tagbilaran to Cebu was brilliant and much better than the ferry. Staff though as everywhere in the Philippines were great and nothing was ever too much for them.

Beautiful look resort Lack in living up to expectations Breakfast terrible No hand towels or face towels Poll is large but really just a big cement pond, no where to sit and relax in pool and very shallow Monkey bar unstaffed for long periods Rooms nice though Checkin, they make u wait until 3am, even though rooms available

The resort is so beautiful itself... it’s in a very nice location plus lots of activities to do indoor and outdoor of the resort and you can also book anything you like to do at the reception desk. Staffs are so nice.. they always willing to help you with your needs and to make your stay a memorable one. It’s expensive to do things like eating, tour packages etc. inside the resort but they have shuttle to help you go out and enjoy at mininal cost at the alona. Shuttle service is free. We’d love to stay at Be Grand Resort again!

Facilities were good, rooms are clean and very modern. Easy regular shuttle bus to the beach. Relaxing cliff top views. A lot of staff but the service is still quite slow with a 30 minute wait in their restaurant. Would still consider staying again though

Hotel staff and management are very accommodating, i asked for some help and a few favors during my stay, and they were all happy to provide what they could and even went above and beyond just to provide us with a memorable roof deck dinner. Ambiance, staff attentiveness, and food were all excellent.

The room was large. Bathroom modern & clean w separate bathtub & shower. Sluding shutters from bath open to the room. Balcony was spacious w resort & oceanview. The pools are large and amazing. There's a large sand portion, man made beach. The oceanfront is quite rocky. For a nice beach you need to go to Aolna beach just 5 minutes drive. Staff are friendly & professional. Food at resturants was reasonably priced. The included breakfast buffet was just great. Lots of variety.

Experience the real Filipino/Boholano hospitality”
My husband and I were very much happy with our stay in Be Resort. The hospitality is fantastic. The staff- from the front desk to the dining were courteous and helpful. All of them would love to attend to our needs. The manager in the food department took time to talk to each person during dining (just to catch up) and made you feel important and valuable guest ( remembering our names was impressive)?! We love our stay in Be Resort because of its location- so serene away from the hustle and bustle of the hub of Alona Beach, and if we want to join the crowd it is less than 5 minutes away. Our room was always kept clean and tidy twice a day. The breakfast food had lots to offer. We stayed in this resort for seven days and main menus have never been repeated. The desserts are to die for. So delicious! The gym is well equip and maintained. I have no negative comments to say. But Be Grand Resort cannot be 'grand' without the staff. They are the ones who make this resort fabulous to stay.
