Need some soundproofing”
you can hear each and every whisper from every room above and around. Not great when the guy next door spends every waking minute hacking his guts up. Staff were blunt and uninterested. Boards up outside advertising buses, massages and laundry but on Asking to book buses and laundry, they would not provide it. The house is very pleasant looking inside but it's just a shame you cant get away from the noise of every other guest

Excellent”
Really nice place to stay! Booked for 2 nights and ended up staying for 5. Thin walls, so it could be very noisy if you have the “wrong” neighbours. Comfy bed and a nice bathroom. Would recommend!

Quiet and cool atmosphere ”
I walked by this place several times and wasn’t sure exactly what it was or if it was nice. I decided to finally stay here my last day in Laos. The rooms are really good for the price. I got the standard room no window but it was cute. The bed was huge and the tv had cable. The water was super hot which I loved. Not a lot of people stay here it seems like so if you like quiet and privacy this is a good spot. They also chain lock the front gate to get in and out after midnight not sure if there’s another way in or out, but staff sleeps up front if you wanted to leave or come in you could ask them to open it. Safe spot.

Not too good ”
Location
Aircon was spoilt (very stuffy despite setting the temperature at 18 degrees)... There were stains on the bedsheets. Room was a little rundown, different to what I saw on the pictures / photos online. Staff was quite helpful. Location good.

Centrally located at a reasonable price.”
The location was great as it was very central, within walking distance to the Mekong as well as some of the major Vat's and there are plenty of good restaurants close by.
The hotel was close to the bus drop off point from Vang Vieng and close to most of the things that we had planned to see. The room was of a really good size so we had space to exercise in the mornings which can be handy! Our bed was huge and comfortable which is good when the weather is as hot as it usually is in Vientiane. There happens to be a few facilities within the room that allow you to cater for yourself if you don't wish to eat your meals outside. So if you stay for a long period of time this could be useful. The hotel is located right by the Mekong river and in a very central area so finding food and bars is not hard at all and some of the better restaurants are in this area. Plenty of tuk-tuks around too so if you wish to travel further out this can be done so easily. We would stay again if we happen to end up in Vientiane anytime.

Very central but lacking atmosphere”
Location location location
The place from the outside looks quite appealing and actually the general decore of the place gives it a slight resort feel - lots of dark wood. Unfortunately it lacks atmoshere but could be a great little boutique hotel but now lacks good management to keep it at a decent level. Lots of great places to eat nearby. Doesn't do breakfast but the french backery around the corner is excellent!! Cheap but basic.

Relaxed clean guest house in great location”
Owners are flexable, Kitchenettes, good showers, great location at a good price.
We stayed for one night but wished we could have stayed longer. We were travelling with our two young children and the owners were flexible with bedding. We were able to fit all four of us into a small studio apartment because the owners moved mattresses in to have our king size bed on the floor with the boys in twin beds. The location is great and the room was relaxed and very clean.
