Really had a good time, easy access 20 minutes from LAX airport, easy car rental from ACE and simple drive south on US-1 Sepulveda Blvd. Seahourse Inn is near the top of a hill so views were good, even of downtown LA. The beach was just a 5 minute drive downhill as was the downtown commercial area with shops, bars and restaurants. But best surprise was the Sion's Mexican Restaurant on-site, we were there 3 days and 2 nights and ate 5 meals there, the food was that fantastic. The fish tacos and the fish dinner are Sea Bass grilled to perfection, best Mexican fish dishes we ever had! Complements to the chef, and to the family owners of both the inn and restaurant, we had a fabulous stay and will recommend to our large family and many friends. Bravo!

Great little hotel. Clean, close to Redondo Pier (we ride our bikes) Jacuzzi room is great but... they started edging up the price for that room particularly so we tried others in the area. For the same price, a couple hundred bucks you can stay at The Crown, or Redondo Beach Hotel (actually on the beach) on any travel site so we stopped going.... Keep your prices fair & reasonable, people always come back!

Best Western PLUS, Redondo Beach, had good basics, cleanliness, pleasant staff, decent rate. My room had no view, but it was nice & cool, my primary concern, as I was fleeing the intense heat at home. It's "complimentary" breakfast was what you would expect, but good enough. A MAJOR plus was they didn't charge for parking, a big ripoff at many hotels. And the location was fab, easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and beach.

This is hotel is a great hotel and earns a lot of stars. The location is beautifull close to the beach. The village is not crowded with tourists and the beaches are empty. You can borrow bikes, body boards, sun umbrellas, towls etc. We biked to the Manhattan Pier and got surfing lessons and had a great time. When you have a car you can visit LA when you like but in the neighbourhood are sufficient nice restaurants etc. Best beach hotel we had during our trip to the USA West coast.

I’m not a big fan at throwing money at a fancy hotel room with a view, especially since I’m unconscious during the majority of my stay, and this hotel was a perfect fit. The room was surprisingly big, had an over the top jacuzzi tub, and was clean and comfortable. The hotel is a block from the Hermosa Beach Community Center where I was taking a tango workshop, and a charming 20 minute walk to the pier. Amenities are all within a block; everything from Starbuck’s, the Rock n Roll Car Wash, Trader Joe’s, CVS and loads of fun little shops and restaurants. I slept through breakfast but it was included. Staff was nice, parking was easy and I’m going to stay here every time I come to Hermosa Beach!

Only a few blocks from the beach. Tons of shopping and restaurants nearby. The hotel is located in a mostly residential neighborhood, and seems very safe and low crime. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and recently remodeled. The only negative we noticed was that the windows didn't lock at all, and even though we were on the 2nd floor, it still is not safe as bad guys can climb. They need to get that fixed.

I've recently found myself without a home so hotel hopping has been my answer to shelter and idk why but in CA every hotel is owned by an Arab and every one I go to they barely understand the word hospitality they are rude, tell me to return then say they have no rooms when they clearly do, have a halfassed cleaning service, charge for ice, charge you more as the days progress, and steal your stuff if you leave it behind. The first night at Moonlite I encountered none of that! The owner here was a young guy who was not only the nicest Arab I've ever met but person probably in all of Redondo. The last night I stayed he let me leave my bags so I could bus hop it around town to get a payday loan to afford a few more days. When I returned to check in through Agoda, he upgraded my room to a balcony suite for free!!! My gf couldn't have lit up more than when she saw that room and couldn't get over how nice he was. She has been telling all our friends about him ever since our first check out.

this is a charming hotel, well located in walking distance of manhattan beach. close to shopping centres and huge range of eateries, but also close to lax i really liked this hotel. the actual building is charming and the open fire in the foyer area is most welcoming. i found the restaurant staff professional and very courteous. i shall stay here again int he future and would love to bring my partner as this is a place she would love as well.

This was our second visit, and the rooms seemed cleaner than we'd remembered - I think the whole place has been painted and spruced up. We stay here because it's close to family, and the west-facing rooms have a view of the ocean. The beach is about a 10-15 minute walk, and The Village is very close with lots of great shops. The staff was really helpful and friendly. There's no breakfast included, which seems odd given the price point. But there are places close by to go to. The hotel is starting to show it's age - the elevators have cracked and peeling laminate, and are slow. But given prices in the area, it seems reasonable enough.

Did not know what to expect for the price as the rates are about 1/2 of other motels in the area. The owner a really nice man from India he bought a older motel on PCH which is a great location a couple of blocks from the beach. He remodeled so it is what I call a boutique motel a taste of the 50's but new and clean. everything is new and clean but simple. You get a bar of soap, upscale soft fresh towels, but bring shampoo, hair dryer, ect. He does not allow smoking in the rooms, he makes a point of that when you check in and also asks if you are a drinker. Has an ash tray right outside for smokers on top of air-con for every room. Beds were nice and were very clean smelling. Bathroom simple and very important to me no mold in shower not a speck. My wife liked the place she likes clean and she said it was OK not a Best Western but if you are looking for a great value in this area and do not care about all the extra stuff this is a good value. The thing I will never forget about this one night stand is when we were leaving I noticed him cleaning a room to make sure it meet his standards. So we need to support a private operator that is offering great no frills value to compete with the big boys. Also right next door is a shopping center with a Subway and a Dominos pizza and across the street a French restaurant. Cheesecake Factory is 5 minutes away (put in your GPS) and has a happy hour 4-6 with a cheap menu in the bar for food and water and marina view.

Stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. We had 4 adults and 2 children (age 1 and 5) and there was plenty of room to set up a queen size air mattress with room to walk around the room comfortably. Parking is free however very limited in the parking lot, although there is street parking which is usually readily available. K at the front desk was super friendly and very helpful. The room was very nice, and clean.

Very comfortable room, well decorated, with balcony overlooking marina. Nice bar overlooking the harbour with lots of seals and pelicans. Great drinks. Didn’t eat in restaurant but got room service dinner which was good. Pool small but warm, although spot was very windy. Plenty of loungers. WiFi was good. Just beware - I booked marina side room and Agoda site clearly also says ‘marina view’. I was allocated a ground floor room with no view other than some foliage and the car park. Had to take my iPad to reception, show them the ‘marina view’ description and push to be moved. I was then given a room on the third floor with a lovely view. If they’d been full, and I’d been stuck in the first room I would have been very unhappy!
