Absolutely Fab”
We stayed 2 nights at the Beachwalk at the beginning of our trip to South Africa at the beginning of March. When we arrived we had a very friendly welcome from the owner, Lea, and her 2 dogs. She showed us to our room (No. 1) and we were wowed. It had everything we could possibly need, including a fridge and microwave also some candles in case there was load shedding (power cuts). The ensuite had a bath, shower, toilet and basin and there were towels and toiletries provided. The large double bed was very comfortable and we had two good nights sleep. It had a lovely outlook with a small table and chairs outside the door looking onto the lush garden and a splash pool and there was a small bottle of bubbly and some chocolates as a welcoming touch. We were given keys to come and go as we please. Later we met Michael, the manager, who was extremely helpful and gave us some useful tips for places to go to eat and things to see and do. I'll review the places we visited separately, but I can recommend going to Barneys. I have difficulty in walking very far and managed all of these easily from the Beachwalk as it was in an ideal location. We also felt very safe walking around the neighbourhood even at night. Breakfast at the Beachwalk was very good with plenty to choose from, although we stuck to the traditional cooked breakfast which was beautifully done and presented. We wished we could have stayed longer, but we had booked our next accommodation along the Garden Route. However, the Beachwalk really set a very high standard for our other accommodation to live up to if they were going to match it in anyway.

Awesome Bed and Breakfast”
The overall stay was excellent! Mike, the manager, went above and beyond for me and my family! Thank you Mike! The bed and breakfast was very nice, clean, and quant. All of the amenities were modern and the mini fridge was stocked with just the right items at more than reasonable prices. The breakfast was great and cooked to order every morning! The B&B is situated within walking distance from shopping and other dining options in and near the Board Walk. The owners were very pleasant and friendly. We had a great time talking about the surrounding area and the South African culture. They are very, very nice people. It was great meeting other travelers from different countries as well. I highly recommend this B&B. We will be going there again!

probably the best b&b in pe!”
what a lucky choice this was! everything about beachwalk was very nice: the room with double doors opening up to the calm little garden and pool, the location, safe surroundings and proximity to the sea (actually just around the corner, hence the name) and last but not least lovely hosts. we liked the b&b and this part of pe with the beach and restaurants so much that we extended our stay another day. highly recommended!

we stay only 1 night .This bed and breakfast is great ,good owner the rooms are simple but the lady add a little something and you feel great. We did not eat breakfast because we had to go very early. the casino ,restaurant ,walk on the beach,it' s just across the road

Perfect Location”
Great little spot in PE. Everything along the beach front is walking distance. The rooms are big and the bed comfy with soft linen (A must!) - the breakfast was delicious! Michael (host) is awesome friendly and happy to assist with any questions. I would highly recommend this spot if you heading to PE.

A great introduction to SA”
I felt a little nervous about traveling around South Aftica, as this was our first time. But the staff were great as giving suggestions, or calling you a reliable cab and arranging cab pick up from airport. First time at a bed and breakfast and was very glad we chose this one.

I have just returned from a 7 night stay and have no hesitation in recommending. The owners are most welcoming and knowledgable. Great, secure location. Bed was exceptionally comfortable and breakfasts spot on. I hope to return again!

Great and nice B&B”
The B&B has a great location and is easy to find. The room was clean and nicely decorated with everything you need (incl. Wifi). You can leave your car in the secured parking and walk to the beach and for lunch/dinner. All good restaurants are just a few minutes away. Moreover, the breakfast is very good - especially the omelette! Finally, the owners are very supportive and provided us with valuable tips for our journey.

Rooms - a bit bare given the price, but sufficient Service - very friendly Food - was not able to dine or eat breakfast (just gave a 3 because it was a required field) Location - great location, near the beach and the airport

Hello Jorge Thank you for your review although I don't really understand some of your comments. The only reason you wouldn't have been able to have breakfast is because you left before 6:30 in the morning, which I don't think is unreasonable, and I don't know what 'bare' refers to. As regards your comment about pricey, you must realise that as you say "location, location" - a property 100metres from the beach in the 5th biggest city in the country doesn't come cheap and as such, location must have an impact on price. Great location, bars/restaurants and sea front in walking distance. Amazing staff, great breakfast (varied and cooked). Lea - big thank you for your help in securing us malaria tablets, we went on to have an amazing Kruger reserve safari and your help made it more special....... :)

An oasis after very long flights”
After a lot of traveling( from aus via Singapore to s. Africa) the welcome by the proprietor was immediate. Many choices of dinning were given. The restaurant we went to was excellent. Then a peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast was very good, and there were obviously many return guests there.

When I booked I clearly committed to change the number of people. No fuss was made. We were moved to a bigger room. We were given an extra mattress for my younger son. The extra charge was really minimal compared to the services we received. It is an awesome place that I will definitely use in the future and recommend.

The owner and staff at this establishment went out of their way to ensure that my needs were met. They arranged shuttles, ironing and suggested I wait in their lounge instead of having a long wait at the airport, even bringing me coffee. I would highly recommend this B&B to all my colleagues and friends.
