Great position with little pity”
Great position, 8 minutes get to Clarke Quay. But it's really a fly in the ointment that the bedroom contains no window.

But it gave us a hard time that we could not open the door because the staff changed the password and she never told us. I think the staff should lets us know what password she changed.

This and that”
Good position, MRT is just across the street, also next to RONIN and lots of cafes; next to the river, Chinatown and lots of malls. The room is clean and smell good, as well as the restroom. The staffs are friendly. Free breakfast. But there are still some minor drawbacks. The shoes container is full of older shoes of left by guests, the locker is not usable. Some lights, air conditioners and fans are not working. Would recommend if the facilities are improved.

Will be back and reccomended”
Pros - Great location just in front of Clarke Quay Central, you can basically walk about 30 mins to many attractions nearby (Clarke Quay, Bugis, Haji Lane, Merlion, Fort Canning Park, Chjmes, etc) and lotsa bus and train options to travel around - Breakfast included in price! Simple bread, butter and jam but all good - Staff were very hospitable and friendly. Belinda made me feel like I'm home - Clean and complete facilities; enough of bathrooms and shower rooms, power socket near bed, drinking water, hair dryer, iron - Close to cheap and delicious Singapore Chicken Rice in front of Clarke Quay Central mal - Internet works perfectly Cons: - No lift in property. And if you bring bag from the train station at wee hours most elevator from station will be off and you'll have to go through many many stairs... - Blanket is thin. And the AC is full-power. But Belinda gave me extra blanket so it was sorted out! - No shampoo and you have to pay for towel use

Short and Simple”
hostel was simple. breakfast sufficient. rooms had 2 aircons and each bed was complemented with a thin kind of scarf. beds sink in and some foreign staffs were biased against locals like me staying for a few days. hence almost had some issues with other backpackers who ganged against a local like me which almost led to a brawl. as i my workplace was nearby, i had no choice but to endure the few days that i had booked for. if there are strong anti local sentiments, why travel or work in Singapore then?

budget price”
GOOD; 6 minutes from clarke quay mrt by walk and 4 min from Song fa bakute. 5 min from big starbucks(in clarke quay centre) which is for 24 hours. water pressure in shower is nice. the staff are friendly. BAD; you need to be barefoot inside hostel but the floor is not that clean especially in toilet, u might step on someone's urine. there were hair on my bed sheet and pillow cover, besides when the person on my upper bunk moves, dusts came down to my bed(lower bunk). A/C was pointed directly to my face and i got a sorethroat so i needed to wear mask when im sleeping. and blanket is so ugly and thin n small. when u ask for help to staff, shes kinda friendly but doesnt do actually a thing to make ur stay better. bedsheet was kinda humid but the air was dried. the worst thing was that i had no place at all* to open ur carrier bags on the floor. Even if its a room for 10 ppl, it was too much. and there are many ants crawling on the table of the lobby, so i sometimes found a ant on my arms too. and when ur washing ur face there r not actually a place to put ur stuff, so inconvenient especially for women. Despite budget price i do not recommend this hostel... there r many other with similar price nearby.

Clean and comfy ”
Good location. Clean environment. With hot shower and air con. Provide 4 beds domitory which is rare to find in Singapore. One thing minor is I checked in at 12 noon but no one is there and I have to wait for 2 hours on the street. Better to let us know the lunch time when there is no receiption.

Worth to stay ”
Perfect stay. However, it is recommended for those who check in late need to get the detail how to get in before arrival as the reception only work office hour. Thank god my phone can call out otherwise I will wait outside the door until someone open the door. It’s look very effective move but if someone who no line no nothing posibble to call the person as all we are visitor. So kindly get the detail before you arrive if you know you will arrive late night. Towel Not provided so rent it out or bring yourself. Overall, it’s not a complaint.. it’s more to help other travellers indeed.

Excellent”
Great location, great common lounge area. Included breakfast is plain (bread/toasts with spreads, cereal and milk) but can be a good volume of carbs to get you going if you need it. Being in Chinatown/Clark Quay is great for walking a short distance for some decent food or sightseeing, or just an MRT stop. Beds are open, no curtains or barriers, a bit exposed, especially in the larger rooms where there will be often be someone moving around, opening and closing doors, turning on lights, and generally making noise or other disturbances. That's just hostel living. Laundry was pretty steep at S$10 for a load. Lockers a little small. All in all a good stay!
