AWESOME SERVICE”
We used AGODA to book two nights accommodation at the Bella Vista Motel Kaikoura and somehow AGODA booked us in and the Bella Vista Motel didn't have any rooms left. We only found this out on arrival after driving up from Christchurch. Well, when we arrived the manager of the Bella Vista Motel Kaikoura - can't remember her name sorry - had already seen that she didn't have a room available and she rang around a very busy Kaikoura and secured us two nights accommodation. This service was immense, and above and beyond anything I'd of expected anywhere in the world: phenomenal, there's no other word for it. The manager even took us over to the new motel, introduced us and set us up over there: fantastic. In the end we are very sorry that we never got to stop at the Bella Vista Motel Kaikoura.

The room was very clean and more modern than expected. The bathroom came with heated towel rails and flooring, lovely amenities and small touches like a separate make up remover face washer. The beds were comfortable and kitchen facilities were very good and clean also. I am not one to bother writing reviews but definitely thought Bella Vista was worth it!

Very comfortable stay. We have used several Bella Vista motels as we have driven round South Island & it is good to know about the facilities on offer in every hotel in chain. Good basis 3 star accommodation.

So much more than a chain motel!”
We weren't expecting that much when we booked this hotel room, and from the outside, it looks like a typical chain motel. Upon our arrival, however, the personal welcome by Brandon, the hotel manager/owner?, including a pint of fresh milk to put in our fridge let us know that this was no typical motel. The well-equipped kitchenette, the free washing machine and clothesline (!), and the thoughtful assistance when we had an issue with one of our tour bookings--this was hospitality above and beyond anything we've ever experienced in a motel setting. And the sunrise lighting up the snowy mountains visible from our upstairs room was amazing!

Very comfortable”
The hotel was very comfortable. It was the only motel so far that had aircon too. The bathroom was quite spacious and i love the layout. Though i check in past 8pm, the owner was still waiting for us. We were also offered milk.

The motel is conveniently located - just off the main road. Equipped with spacious parking area. We had a room at the ground floor, clean and tidy with basic kitchenette.

Lovely hotel - walking distance to town centre”
Although we only stayed one night at this hotel, it was lovely nonetheless. very nice family room with separate bedroom & fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom was large & had a spa & the whole hotel looked brand new! Short walk down the hill to the town centre. A very nice stay & would highly recommend!

The owners are so lovely and more than happy to help you out with anything including local tourist attractions and walks. The rooms have everything you need and more. WiFi is free and everything is a short stroll down the hill. I would highly recommend.

Comfortable and convenient”
Large comfortable room with dining area and good clean shower. Short walk to town centre but be aware that the property is up a fairly steep hill. Would stay again and happy to recommend.

Clean and sufficient for one night stay”
Room space was a bit small for 2 big luggages to open wide. The bathroom however was v spacious. Bed has electric blanket which was great. Receptionist was very friendly and gave us a bottle of fresh milk too. Clean and sufficient for a night's rest.
