Great Place to Stay in the area ”
The only con I have is that they don’t offer any breakfast on site, but there are plenty of local offerings fairly close. The staff was super nice! We had a soon with a kitchen and it was a very good amount of space for our family (2 adults and 2 small children). The coffee in the front office was really good, but it would have been nice to have coffee packets offered in the room as well. We loved being close to the Spit and all the other things to do around Homer. Would highly recommend Beluga Lake Lodge!

Not the best location”
The room was outdated but very clean. It was very hot and small. Even opening the window and a fan running on high could not cool it down. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. Location of the hotel is horrible for noise. It's Right next to the highway and the sea planes taking off is like sleeping on a runway. Also got woke up early with a vacuum beating against the wall from the next room from house keeping. It is located in a good place however for access to the homer spit and the town of Homer without driving a lot. I would not recommend this hotel for peace and quiet.

Good place to stay while passing through Homer. It was a little eerie at night alone in my room, lots of different noises and lights. Nice and roomy though.

THE STAFF WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND”
I was there for just one night, and was moving into an apartment across the street in the morning. We had an earthquake. and a psunami warning followed, warning people to get to higher ground. I did not have a car, and told the staff that. The head of housekeeping came to my room, and offered me a ride to her house to wait it out. She made coffee and grilled cheese sandwiches for all of us, and when the crisis was over- we all went back to the hotel. No late checkout fee either.

I love this little hotel. I think the front counter staff, specifically Barbie & Tara are warm & welcoming & really want you to enjoy your stay. They are always willing to chat a bit & offer suggestions while I grabbed my morning coffee or prepared to settle in for the evening. I will be back for sure.

Stayed two nights, reception staff disinterested. There was a large dog in the next room constantly barking. The hotel had a terrible smell. Very small rooms.

Nice stay”
Nothing fancy, but convenient location, clean and has all necessities. Walk everywhere in town. Spit is about 5 ml long, so it’s better to drive there
