        Nice hotel in Ubud vegetation”
Nice hotel, rooms are clean and spacious, with air con, a fan, a fridge, a bathtub. Beds are made everyday. The pool and the environment is nice. The only down was that the place near the pool where we take breakfast does not seem really tidy or clean, it's a bit messy with all the staff belongings. The staff is nice and smiling.

Love it here...it's calm and peaceful yet close to everything: yoga centers, shops, restaurants are all just a short walk away. The staff go out of their way to help and make you feel welcome. Lovely little pool and terrace to eat breakfast on. Nice bathtubs in the room and a spacious balcony overlooking the rainforest.

Very good value for money. The main Ubud streets are quite a walk away but it's still doable and there are plenty of shops and eating places nearby. It was clean, good aircon and did the job. There were quite a few ants in the bathroom but this didn't really bother us.

Good value for money stay in Ubud!”
The hotel is really nice and very peaceful! The rooms are big, clean and comfortable, with a nice shower. There is a small pleasant pool. The breakfast is wonderful, with eggs, toast, fruit, fresh juice and coffee or tea. The staff is very nice and helpful. Good value for money hotel in Ubud area. The only drawback is the location, since it is a bit difficult to find and far from the main streets of Ubud and Monkey Forest. However, since we had a motorbike, this was not a problem for us.

        The best!!!”
Out of our 60 day visa we have stayed here nearly 20 days. Ubud is amazing, but this place is one of the most welcoming stays we have had. - Breakfast 10/10 - Staff 10/10 - Room 10/10 - Pool Area 10/10 - Location 11/10 What more do you need? We would continue to come back, and extend our stay, with no worries or regrets. This place is amazing.

This place is unbelievable for the price. The staff are so caring. The food is delicious. The pool is unbeatable. The cleanliness is second to none. We extended our stay 3 times, since we just could not leave. The perfect location. Would stay again and recommend to everyone coming to Ubud. You will not be disappointed.

One of our favourite stays ever!”
This place is amazing. The staff are some of the warmest, and kindest, people we have met on our trip. They will help you with everything you need, answer any question and make you feel beyond welcomed. We started with only a short stay, then extended, and extended and extended. We ended up with about 10 days here and would come back again in a heartbeat. The pool is unbelievable, clean and exactly what is needed in the mid-day heat. The breakfast is fresh fruit, fresh juice, eggs, and tea/coffee. It is a great way to start the day. The room is welcoming and kept extremely clean (they come to clean and tidy everyday). The location is perfect, my partner stayed in Ubud for 2 months a few years ago and says this is the perfect spot (close to food, stores, yoga barn, but far enough away that you get good deals and are away from all the hustle bustle). A perfect stay. The only negative, is that the internet was very very slow. We prepare for this on the road, so not too big of a deal:)

        excellent stay”
The hotel is centrally located in Ubud (just be careful because it's at the end of a small path that is not recognized by maps. Me nor Google maps). The room was lovely, clean and big. The pool was nice too, even though in the shadow most of the day (in case you hope to get a tan...). Breakfast is included and good too (eggs, sausage, bread, fruits, fresh juice and tea/coffee). All in all, this is excellent value for money and I would stay there again.

        Tranquility, comfort, value, ”
If you are in Ubud BOOK this place! I booked one night and after that booked the rest of the week(it is low season so there was one room open) After a bustling drive through town, a long walk down an alley you arrive to the most peaceful and beautiful setting where Bembengan has 6 spacious air conditioned cottages perched above a refreshing infinity pool. You feel like you are in the jungle yet only a few minutes walk to first rate restaurants, an amazing yoga studio and transport to just about anywhere. The best thing about my stay was the staff! They are warm, helpful and generous in spirit. I will miss them all!

It feels like you're way out of the town in the jungle but it's very close to everything. The pool is great and the rooms have ac and fan and even a fridge and a bath, slept very well here. The value for money is really good and you can't really find fault for that price. I loved the staff they were very nice and helpful, I would just recommend that some new table cloths at the breakfast area would make all the difference! Would return.

My room at here was very clean and tidy. The staff were very attentive and brought lovely breakfast to my balcony. It was great value per night possibly because it was off season. If you're looking for a peaceful place but at the heart of Ubud this certainly is it. And the view from the balcony into the little bit of forest behind was really good. The pool was in excellent condition too. But if you can't do steps maybe it's not for you.

Only the bedsheet and bed is not my favourite . The rest are just way too awesome. surrounded by wood. It is the humble version of Frank Lloyd wright's fallingwater , lol. so you imagine how peaceful when you wake up and hear thise bird singing. It gives a feeling like as if you are the rich kids where you have your own room at different floor. every room comes with a front balcony. spacious bathroom. building is old but well maintained. swimming not ideal for swimming but just for soaking.

        Stinky pillows”
I don't mind a budget place but there's some things I can't handle, and it turns out stinky Body Odor pillows is one of them. If your idea of bliss is nestling your head in the arm pit of a truck driver who hasn't washed for 2 weeks as you drift off to the land of ZZZ - then this is the place for you! The smell had that aged BO smell to it, not the fresh stuff... the kind that takes time to fester and go really bad. The pillows have obviously been used by many a sweaty traveler over the years and never changed. I did tell them about this so they might have changed them since, or might not have. Otherwise the place is OK. But for me the bedding made me book somewhere else the next day.

        Avoid this place!”
We’re used to budget places, so that wasn’t it. But really, this place should be avoided- the room smelled musty and moody, the pillow was yellowed with stains and no cover, the towels provided threadbare and too small with which to do anything. Both our kids got sick (not the fault of the hotel) but there was no offer of help from the staff, or suggestions. When I asked for more towels ( to wipe up the vomit off the floor as my kid exploded into the toilet), I got a blank stare and then very reluctantly, one additional towel. What the staff most seemed interested in was in sell8ng us tours - with each competing with his own colleague to undercut one another on price. When we said we wanted to do a 1/2 day tour rather than the full daythey were push8ng, they first tried to change my mind, then insisted it wasn’t possible, and finally just stopped. We found a tour that would do 1/2 day,but they didn’t help us book it. Everyone else in Bali has been so friendly and kind, not them.
