Excellent
Ideal for people who like natural surroundings, peace, good location and pleasant staff. I highly recommend this, can't ask for more for the money you pay.

Cool
It was a really nice pool. The staff was also really kind. We could leave our bags for the day after our night, so we could visit the monkey forest only 15 min walk to there. The hygiëne wasn't bad only 1 salamander in our room. The matras was really bad you sink all the way in you matras. The breackfast was simple but good. :P

Great location, quiet place, good view
Very nice place with swimming pool. It is well located hotel, with a very home service: responsive personal, tasty breakfast, free coffe / tea. Quiet place in the jungle: only sound of bird singing. Good accomodation. I like it so much.

Amazing Staff
The staff are what make this place very special, as they treat you like you are family. I am vegan and they gave me extra fruit and coffee every day to compensate for not being able to eat the eggs and toast that they provide. It is also very clean and close to great restaurants. The view from the balcony is also lovely!

Nice staff, not the "best" location
Pros: staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Hot shower. Refrigerator in room. Quiet. Cons: not central. Walk a lot to get anywhere. Breakfast get repetitive.

Try Elsewhere
Coming in late at night we couldn't locate, after stopping for directions which didn't work we rang to get someone to show us. We finally got there down an unlit 1 meter wide goat track down a mossy ramp. Room was OK, bed good, no resupply of water even when asking staff who did not seem to understand request. Breakfast only on after 8 am and not worth the wait.

Good enough
cleaness, staff, swimming pool
Worth every penny! swimming pool is big enough to cool you down and room is huge, quite clean. Even they do not provide any food, there's lots of restaurant nearby. only downside would be long, steep isle from the street.

Construction by Day, Peaceful by Night
location, mosquito net, pool, refrigerator
I was really hopeful to find a bit of peace and quiet based on the pictures that were provided on Agoda. However, the constant construction noise happening across the way didn't help after long days walking around busy and happening Ubud. Pros: The hotel is centrally located and not far from the main road and the palace, restaurants, etc. The pool is a good way to cool off after a hot day out. The mosquito net at night is a bonus. There's a refrigerator which is a bonus for those hoping to have some cool water throughout their stay. The staff is pretty nice but be aware as I'll mention in the cons. Cons: Construction noise throughout the day that won't stop for a while. They are building a massive hotel and probably won't be done for at least another year or so, as the staff informed me. The staff also lied to me about the boat company that we'd be taking to Gili. He convinced me to book through his company and since we couldn't find any negative reviews, we went for it since the good companies were booked for the day. The guys at Bembengan seem to be partnered with a company "called Sea and Son" which has us breathing fresh air because of all the bad reviews around companies that run fast boats. However, the morning that we left we were given tickets through a company called Wahana which was one with many terrible reviews. I know this isn't anything to do with the hotel itself but I didn't appreciate being lied to by the staff at the hotel, who seem to be banking from our ticket purchases. Be mindful and book something else in advance. Use this place as a base and not for relaxation. It's good and quiet at night and the pool is refreshing. Just be mindful about booking tours with the staff and the construction that happens throughout the day.
