      Small hotel with BIG heart”

This is not a paid but honest sincere review on my stay here. This was my 2nd stay since Feb 2016. My recent stay from 19-28 dec was a blessed one! Im sincerely thankful to the RM for her kindness solving my accommodtion ‘hiccups’ caused by Agoda, housekeeping Mgr and Ops Mgr for accepting my apologies on my ‘blunder’ in room 505 and their premium customer service staff around esp the front counter. Rooms maybe be small, walkways maybe narrow, water pressure maybe low but friendly, approachable, patient and kind staff, perfect location, accessible amenities and public transports overuled this hotel shortcomings. We felt welcoming and no regrets staying in Berjaya. Tks for the pleasant stay BERJAYA EDEN PARK LONDON HOTEL. We left London with sweet memories you.

Within 2 tube stations, peaceful surroundings, ample faciliities within and outside, friendly staff,

We had an excellent time at Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel. Very friendly, smiling, helpful front office/reception, housekeeping staff, courteous and always there to help. After a tiring outing, it is always pleasant to be greeted by smiling and helpful front office on your return. Room was in excellent condition and no complain whatsoever. All the facilities that will need while away from home from restaurants, supermarket, foreign exchange, newspapers, magazines, maps, 2 subway stations, you name it, it is all available within walking distance but yet very peaceful and hardly any irritating noise that one can complain of. It would have been like any other great hotel but the helpful and pleasant staff makes it stand out.

      location staff suite

We had a fantastic stay at Berjaya Eden Park. As we were to stay for 4 nights we were given an upgrade into the Garden Suite. Loved it. A beautiful cozy place. Staff were friendly and helpful. The very best advantage of staying there is the location. Can access via both District (Bayswater) and Central line (Queensway) underground. Only issue we had was with the small lift. However if you stay at the suite its just one floor down. Take the stairs. There are a lot of restaurants around the hotel serving Chinese, Thai and Middle Eastern food. A sainsbury local is just across the street. We will certainly stay at Berjaya Eden Park when we visit London again.

The hotel is in an excellent location for the museums and Hyde Park, has a comfortable character and is great value for money

The most important factors for me in choosing a London hotel is the price and location, and Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel is very reasonable for its central location. It has a comfortable homely character with helpful friendly staff, and as long as I didn't want to admire the view from the window as it was next door's drainpipe, I would certainly stay again.

      location”

berjaya eden park hotel is conveniently located near 2 tube stations that are both 5 minutes walk away. this gives u an option to use 2 different tube lines depending on which is more convenient especially since the circle line was under maintenance during our stay there. it is also located near several restaurants and convenience stores. if you are a passionate shopper, shop through oxford street towards marble arch and it will lead you back to the hotel. some of the rooms in this hotel is a bit small. make sure to have the reception book you to a larger room coz its the same price.

Proximity to the sights of London, Oxford St shopping, Hyde Park, transport or walking to restaurants, pubs, etc.
Difficulty in finding our room - should have been given clear instructions on the way as the building is split.

Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel is worth a return visit. I read the reviews and booked on the strength of these and was pleasantly surprised that they were true. We lived in Bayswater for several years and walked to all our haunts from this hotel. The room was compact and had room for two comfortable armchairs. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. Our room had been modernised in a tasteful manner but the corridors still had the English hotel feel of old. Well done Berjaya - we lived in Malaysia and visited your hotels there also.

      Terrific location

If I were to return to London, I will book at Berjaya Eden Park again. The staff was helpful and friendly but its location is the best thing about it. It is located near the tube station and a lot of restaurants and convenience shops. The only thing I didn't like was my room seemed not to have much ventilation. I was feeling hot, not warm, during the winter season. There was no breeze blowing inside to make the room temperature more comfortable.

Very near to Queensway Subway Station & Bayswater Subway Station. For muslim traveller like me, very easy to find halal food along the bayswater street which is just behind the hotel. If u are Malaysian, then the Malaysian Hall canteen is just next block in front of this hotel. The hyde park is just 3-5 minutes away from the hotel. If u need laundry services, then u can easily find one at the end of bayswater street. U can take the London busses at the corner end of the hotel - 2 minutes walking. A hotel with a certain character”

Best of all, the location. Walking distance to Hyde Park, shops and restaurants. Decent sized room for London and wifi.

The Berjaya Eden Park Hotel is one of those hotels made from a number of period houses fused together. Something of a rabbit warren with narrow corridors, and a lift which doesn't quite take you to the reception. There are stairs to negotiate and I wouldn't recommend it if you are elderly and frail. Having said that, the staff are willing and able to give you a hand with luggage if you need it. The location however is excellent, close to Hyde Park, shops and eateries. Public transport, the underground, (when not on strike) buses and taxis are close by. Not on a very busy road, we found it quite quiet at night. All in all it suited us well and we would use it again.

      Small but comfortable rooms”

The location is fabulous. 2min walk to either Queensway or Bayswater Metro stations. Also only a few minutes walk into Kensington Gardens which joins onto Hyde Park. There is a strip of shops, restaurants and fast food cafes one block away. Very convenient. One word of warning - the showers in the single bed rooms are so tiny you can't turn around in them. I am small and when I turned around I pushed the tap either off or to hot. Very annoying and difficult, especially if you need to move your arms to wash your hair, My only criticism - if you are larger than average you will NOT FIT IN THE SHOWER!!! Otherwise very happy. Breakfast is light - croissants, toast, buns with jams, juice, tea and coffee. Also a small selection of yoghurt and cereals with milk. On a couple of occasions sliced tomatoes were provided for the toast which was nice. I will book this again if ever in London.

      Location

The hotel is located in the heart of the Bayswater area, 2 mins walk from Bayswater station which has good connections to Paddington (for the Heathrow Express) and other areas of Central London with Hyde Park just 5 minutes walk away and many of the best Chinese (Four Seasons) and other diverse restaurants as well as a mall literally just around the corner. For the price, the location is really unbeatable and the hotel itself is one of the better ones in this area, which has many hotels that simply overpack a townhouse with guest rooms. The Eden Park is similar, but not as severe as some others in the area. Overall if you are looking for something for a night or two (max. three), then this is a decent choice.

Doesn't do what it says on the tin ?”

The Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel, doesn't come up to the standards portrayed on the webpage - the hotel is in a superb area, in a really nice terrace and from the outside looks wonderful, reception is of a high standard as well I may add, with spectacular photographs of the Hotel Group Hotels - but you go into the lift to go up to the 1st floor and as soon as the lift doors open - your in a different place, old fashioned carpets, the room was in much need of a major refurbishment. My brother and his partner were sent down to a basement dungeon, and within 2 seconds of seeing it - he asked to be moved as the basement room was totally unacceptable, to be fair the reception staff moved him and partner to another room as soon as possible. If I were returning to London soon I would be looking at staying in the Bayswater area - but I don't think I would be choosing the Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel.

Impressed from the start. A kind Gentleman who worked there took our luggage up from the taxi to reception. Check in is easy (make sure you each have photo Id) Lift to all floors. Comfortable beds, Although room very hot, Window can open. A nice simple continental breakfast. If a taxi is needed the hotel staff at reception will book it for you. A 5 minute walk to the nearest tube station and to Kensington Gardens. Hyde Park less than 1 mile away. Perfect. Looking forward to staying here in the future

      Value accommodation in central London”

The hotel is within 3 min walking distance to Queenstown Underground Station (Central Line) and Bayswater (District and Circle Line) that will take you anywhere in London. The included breakfast is the same each day consisting of a small variety of breads, spreads, coffee and tea and cereals. However do try the all day malaysian food that the resident restaurant Dapur has on offer. I chose to eat fragrant coconut rice with fried chicken, sambal and it was reallt delicious. Rooms are comfortable, but given that the hotel is in a restored old building, you do get creaky floor boards. But the room provides all the essentials like a safe and towels. Overall I had a good value for money stay there. If you need a roof over your head and is out in London sightseeing most of the time, this place will be great for your budget. There is no gym but I got daily jogs at the nearby Kensington Park.

We stayed for two nights and extended to another night because we love the location that is very close to Bayswater and Queensway stations, we love the fact that it is a few steps away from Hyde Park and a lot of Halal food places around. We look forward to coming back to Berjaya London Hotel soon!
