Nice Exotic Trip @ Berjaya Langkawi Resort”

There are lots of selling points @ Berjaya Langkawi Beach & Spa Resort: 1. Fast Check-in as well as fast approval of late check out 2. Friendly and efficient Staffs 3. Clean Resort, room and all facilities 4. 4-5choices of different restaurant to meet one needs 5. Nice beach
None! :)

This is my first time in Langkawi and i am glad that i have chosen Berjaya Langkawi Beach & Spa Resort for my 3D2N stay during the trip. The resort is just around 15-20mins from the airport and the cost of the taxi fare is RM24 which i think reasonable. Upon reaching the resort, we were greeted by the friendly staff at the check in counter. Unlike other resorts that i have went to, staff over at the Berjaya resort will ask you to have a seat first and have a welcome drink while they settle everything. This is indeed good and nice without having us stand at the counter and wait. At Berjaya, they provide shuttle facilities to transport you from one location to another within the resort which is indeed a very nice service they have. Zero waiting time and you can grab the shuttle at the lobby any mins you want. I love it very much. We took the shuttle to our Junior Suite on Water Room after the check in process. The room is nice and fantastic, large and spacious. Toilet is clean and big too. And not forgetting the nice sea view we have from the balcony. I love it and spend quite alot of time relaxing at the area. Thai restaurant at berjaya resort is a must visit place for dining, especially during the evening. Nice scenery, mood and good food too. Price are reasonable too. Berjaya has a nice beach too. And there is a restaurant over at the beach too. Thats the place we have our daily breakfast. Isnt it great that you are having your breakfast overlooking at the sea and beach... Oh, you will simply give the shuttle service a call and wait outside at your room for the shuttle to transport you to the breakfast area in the morning... i have enjoyed my stay over at Berjaya. Staffs over at there are very efficient in responding to your request. This is what a 5* resort should have. Good Job, Berjaya Langkawi Resort !!!!

Berjaya is a 5 star hotel with great personalised service.”

I am a frequent traveller to Langkawi, and I must say that I am incredibly particular about the level of service that I receive. I have always enjoyed Meritus Pelangi and Resort World Langkawi's hospitality that I decided to give Berjaya Langkawi Resort a try. Since Berjaya is a 5-star hotel, the service should be on par or better. I was quite hesitant at first to choose another hotel since I might be disappointed. I don't like disappointments. I only have a short time every month to enjoy my time off work. I have always wanted to try Berjaya because I like their website, location and the reviews are encouraging. I was convinced. I decided to give it a go. I cancelled my reservation with Meritus Pelangi and booked Berjaya. Having to contend with the bustling city life in KL, Langkawi is a sweet escape. The best place for me to enjoy my sparkling wine and champagne. I was so excited for my stay with Berjaya Langkawi Resort that I have packed my bags two days in advance! I even had my interior designers to adopt Berjaya Langkawi Resort's Rainforest Studio interior for my newly bought apartment. Berjaya's high level of personalisation has not disappointed me. I felt their sincerity of wanting to provide the best customer service, and I appreciate that. It is one of the best places to stay with a fantastic buffet breakfast, clean room, fresh bedsheets, just like any other 5-star hotel. There's a private beach too. Such a calm place. A highly recommended place to stay. I will book this place again.

A pleasant surprise hidden amongst trees..”

Location, View & Activities

My wife and I stayed in the premier rainforest chalet. Quite frankly, we booked Berjaya Resort expecting it to be a nice room to spend the night in. Boy, were we surprised! We ended up spending a lot of our time in Langkawi just being in the resort. There's a lot of fun adventure and activities one can do, regardless of whether it's a couple or family vacation. Berjaya Langkawi Resort is more than just a comfortable chalet with a pretty view. First of all, the chalet we were in are nestled between the trees. I love the idea of the chalets and facilities being built around the rainforest instead of clearing the trees and land to make way for the resort. There are still a lot of beautiful wildlife still inhabiting the forests around the resort. We were lucky to see great hornbills and witness flying lemurs in action. There are nature walks, jungle trekking, water sports etc etc to cater for people of all ages. After a long tiring day, treat yourself to an excellent spa experience over in Taaras Spa. There's a few restaurants within the chalet as well. One I would especially remember would be the Thai restaurant. Fresh seafood and authentic Thai flavors! The resort staff are very friendly and helpful too. They really do go all the way to make their guest have a pleasant stay. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here and we'd recommend this place to our friends. And if we were to go back to Langkawi, Berjaya would be our top pick. Heck, we may just go back to Langkawi just to stay with Berjaya Resort again!

Berjaya Langkawi”

Lovely atmosphere, buggy service everywhere. Massive resort with amazing spa and restaurants. Fantastic buffet breakfast with very large selection. We had a large hornbill perched on a nearby tree while we enjoyed our breakfast. Would be ideal for families with kids. There is also a private beach with all the facilities and a nice, clean pool area where deck-chair massages were available for only 60 ringgit. Good airconditioned rooms and power shower.
Sometimes the buggies can take a while to arrive, but we learnt that it was easier to stand at cross-roads and wait than at your hotel door, as you would undoubtedly meet a returning buggy from elsewhere that would pick you up. Bit far from the main action of the town but a cab is easy to get and cheap.

We stayed at the Berjaya Langkawi from December 21st - 24th. Dunno why it says submission date is October - it is 27th December today. My first impression was that the hotel was HUGE. However, a buggy service is available 24/7 that takes you to your rooms and back which was very helpful. The staff were all very friendly and they upgraded our room to a king-sized bed instead of a double bed which was very nice. The room itself was very sufficient. Each little hut protrudes from the face of the jungle (or sea if you paid for the waterside chalets) and on first impression looks very basic. However, they put a lot of effort into doing it up and it looks fantastic inside and each hut has a balcony where each morning you can see monkeys swinging around and various tropical birds. It is fully air conditioned and has a power shower so although it is a hut, the interior has the feel of a standard city hotel room with a rustic feel. The only bad things about the hotel was that it is far from Pantai Cenang (the main tourist area) and Kuah (city center) but taxis are easy to come by and cheap as chips. The main spread for breakfast was massive and good and the facilities fantastic. The spa was wonderful, relatively well-priced and had a wonderful set of baths set into the tropical atmosphere. The themed swimming pool and private beach area with volleyball/football/watersport facilities completed the resort feeling. In terms of tour bookings, we assessed all the options from Kuah to Pantai Cenang and the hotel and found a minimal difference in price. Safety was always the first and foremost concern with the hotel and as they weren't tied to individual tour operators, they were able to offer the most balanced recommendation and suitable tour operator (e.g. families with kids etc). All in all, I would highly recommend the Berjaya Langkawi. If I returned I would most certainly book that hotel again.

Beautiful resort with friendly, efficient service”

Location, Ambience, Amenities, Service

Our trip to Langkawi was a last minute decision and we selected Berjaya primarily based on a friend's recommendation. We managed to get an free upgrade which turned out to be a sea-facing chalet in the treeline...Berjaya is based in Burau Bay on the island and is quite secluded from the bulk of the touristy crowd which frequents Langkawi. Hence, if you're looking for peace and've found it! With the resort's scrumptious gastronomic options (we recommend the Beach restaurant) and a bevy of indoor (table tennis!!!) and outdoor activities (jetskis, surfing etc.), you can actually spend your entire trip here! The Cable Car (a must!!) and the Seven Wells Waterfall are very close by...while the resort has shuttle services to nearby attractions, taxis are aplenty and they have fixed rates for no need to haggle! Overall...a fantastic place to stay in...we are already planning our next trip to Langkawi and Berjaya!!! :)

Relaxing in nature”

serene, staff, beach

Most of the tourists who go to Langkawi stay at Pantai Cenang, but Berjaya is located in Teluk Burau, which is further north of the island and somewhere in the hills. You'll need a car to get there, or you can get there by taxi. The location, which is away from everything on the island, is superb if you want a quiet time by the beach. The staff there speak good English, and were very welcoming. Our room was a Rainforest Chalet, but we got a view of the sea anyway. They have a nice balcony where you can just sit and drink, and enjoy the rainforest around you. We also made a trip to Tanjong Rhu, which supposedly has the 'nicest' beach, but I definitely have to disagree. Berjaya's beach is awesome, the only difference is that Tanjong Rhu has a calmer beach (surrounded by island rocks). For the price, I think it's definitely one of the best hotels on the island!

Beautiful resort, highly recommended”

Loved the setting of this resort, in the jungle and next to the beach, best of both worlds. The resort was also quite a distance from the main town of Langkawi which I think is a positive thing because I actually didn't really like the town anyway as it was a bit smelly and dirty looking. The resort itself was very well presented, lobby is open (no windows or doors) and it is just gorgeous it is also very clean and there is a nice shop in the lobby. Gym facilities looked good (though I didn't use them!) and the pool was wonderful. The shuttle service was fantastic when catching from lobby to room and it is so hilly that you will really want to use the shuttle especially when travelling with kids. The rooms were SO clean and are cleaned thoroughly every day, there is a day bed in the room which we used for our 4 year old to sleep on and the housekeeping staff would make this up as a bed for us every morning which was nice. A few different places to eat in the resort, definitely more expensive than outside the resort but still only the price you would pay to have a meal in Australia so we did not mind. The resort beach is great for swimming, very clear and we saw a lot of fish right by the shore. In the lobby there are desks where you can organise activities that you want to do, I thought that was a bonus, also the tour we booked through the hotel was much cheaper than the tours that you book at the geopark. Close to Oriental Village was a bonus, because that was a nice clean little area with cheap shopping and cheap food, also a couple of animal pakrs, the cable car and even elephant rides which we decided was too unethical for us to take part in - but its there if you want it.
Very few things I disliked about the hotel but here they are: * In peak times you may have to wait a while if you called for a shuttle to pick you up from your room, a couple of times we waited for 10 minutes or so and then got annoyed and walked instead. * Food is expensive in the resturants though the chinese resturant seemed to be ok but we did not eat there. The breakfast at Dayang Cafe had a big variety but it was pretty much the same every day and I was bored of it by the time we left, but seeing as Oriental Village doesnt open til late morning we ate at the resort every day anyway. Note also that the Beach Resturant has the same breakfast as the Dayang Cafe, when we booked we did not get included breakfast so since we were paying we decided we would try the beach resturant which was 77MR per adult compared with 53MR per adult at Dayang and the food was essentially the same. *The electrical cabling in the room behind the bedside table was REALLY dodgy and probably dangerous especially with kids so just leave furniture where it is. *No DVD players in rooms and the channels of TV were pretty boring, you can however pay 50MR and get a DVD player for the duration of your stay.

We stayed at Berjaya Langkawi late November during Malaysian school holidays and also in time for LIMA 09 so the resort was packed. We enquired about upgrading our room from deluxe to premier but there was nothing available to upgrade to as it was so busy. To get to the hotel you take a winding road through the jungle and its much prettier than the scenery in the town, you will probably see wildlife before you even arrive at the resort. The resort spans a large area and has a very private feel to it even though you do have neighbours, you rarely see them and we did not really hear them at all. The lobby is huge and I thought it was very appealing, open space, a fountain and a big chandelier, staff at reception were very quick and efficient. Also mention staff at this hotel and even just people on the island in general LOVE babies, it was like everyone was obsessed with my 11 month old son, people everywhere stopping us all the time to touch and talk to the baby or even take photos with him! The main hotel resturant is just downstairs from the lobby, the resort isn't overly stroller-friendly but it isn't unmanageable. The resturants all have a great atmosphere but I found the music at the cafe to be a little bit repetitive. A driver will take your luggage in a shuttle up to your room and the poor guy will carry it all up there, I thought our driver was going to have a heart attack carrying out bags as there are a lot of stairs to get to some of the rooms. The rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable, the king size bed is great and the linen was very soft, the hotel provided us with a cot for no extra charge and we used the day-bed as a night bed for our 4 year old. Although the prices of the mini-bar items seemed cheap to us foreigners when we arrived at 5MR for a can of coke, you will soon realise that at Oriental Village you purchase cokes for 1.50MR so it's worthwhile going for a walk. Also there is EXTREMELY cheap alcohol on this island, you can buy a bottle

Why go anywhere else on Langkawi?”

Staff were excellent, quality of the food and service
Distances to walk from rooms to main area may not suit some

Having been captivated by Forum posts, and having found a cracking deal onm for the intended dates of travel, I had no hesitation in booking at the Berjaya. From the very moment we were collected at the airport by the resort transfer bus, we were made to feel very special, almost VIP like (cost = 30RM, slightly more than a taxi, but does away with any concerns you may have about being fleeced by taxis, which should not happen anyway in Langkawi....if you wish to book the transfer, contact the Berjaya direct to organise - transfer time approx 20 minutes). Check in was fantastic, very speedy, we were welcomed personally by the Front of House manager, Ramesh, who made us feel very special indeed. This interim staff contact, and the friendliness and attentiveness of our reception, was repeated by all of the staff at the resort . And I do mean all staff too. The room we were given was fantastic, overlooking the Thai restaurant towards the far end of the resort, which is about800 metres from the hotel lobby Sure, it is some distance from the main hotel lobby, but if this concerns you, the frequent free shuttle service is only a few steps from your door. Service received at all of the facilities on site (the four main restaurants, the Ayura Spa, the internet cafe area, the car hire/taxi/bookings teams) was exemplory. Even the minor issues we had with the room was dealt with via a personal response from the Housekeeping team. We were very fortunate to be invited to a Cocktail Party periodically arranged by the Management Team of the Berjaya, and were made to feel as if we were VIP's by all concerned.

Wonderful service, beautiful room, a place filled with warmth!!!

everything about berjaya is just awesome! anyone you see from the hotel everyone's so tentative, warm, friendly, helpful! we were on our honeymoon, so when we booked the hotel we stated in the email tell berjaya abt it, wish to have a rm where we can at least jus see a lil bit of the sea :p but of cuz, we r nt expecting to get it 100%. when we were checkin in, staff noticed message & congratulated us, i alrdy felt happy when i knw tat at least someone really read my msg. berjaya is really clean inside out! very nice room! i don't see a single creepy crawlies(monitor lizard etc) like what i read on tripadvisor. monkies, only a few, saw only once haha. but we did saw a bird catching fishes when we were at the thai restaurant, saw a super big sized jellyfish haha~ pretty cool! although we did not get a room that can see the sea, but at least the room is wonderfully cleaned up, & they surprised us by preparing a present w congrats letter in the room & a little box of chocolates & the beautiful swan towels on the bed when we went out after checked in! how sweeeet is that! everyday our complimentary water will be nicely filled & they even helped us to pack our messy packs of tidbits lying all of the table nicely on the rack~ and yeap, my swan towels will be on the bed everyday after housekeeping~ we drove to a few other resorts that we've taken into consideration to book earlier on to have a look to, to make sure we don't we regret~ tanjung sanctury was nice, but pretty quiet and peaceful, nt as vibrant & lively as berjaya. we went there for massage too, friendly staff too, but i still prefer the feeling i had at berjaya. sheraton is very deep in, so we only passed by and had a look. mutiara is really cannot make it! creepy crawlies all over, rooms too closely packed together, seaview wasn't as nice! chalets doesnt looks gd too. casa del mar is beautiful! but service wasn't as good. afterall, we still love berjaya most! everytime i go langkawi i wanna stay @ berjaya!

Had a Wonderful stay”

Excellent room and bathroom, nice private beach, variety of options available for dining

we stayed in berjaya, langkawi for 2 nights. we were put up in a premier chalet with a sea-facing view. the room and bathroom was excellent. this is definitely one amongst the best resorts in langkawi. the resort is quite big. they have a shuttle car which picks you from your room to the main area (where all the restaurants and reception is located) and back. shuttle service was prompt. they had several restaurants, few that i remember are beach restaurant (having a nice view of the beach), dayang cafe and a japanese cuisine restaurant. since we were pure vegetarians, we stuck to beach restaurant which to our delight had few indian dishes in their menu. they have a private beach which offers a magnificent view with white sand, clear blue water and few mountains located close by. they offer water sports like water scooters etc. but those were on a chargeable basis. berjaya langkawi resort is a quite place. you do not have options to roam around the place at night, though you can enjoy loads of activities within the resort. definitely a paradise for people who want to be away from hustle-bustle. for people who want to enjoy the beach as well as roam around at evenings and night, you might want to consider resorts around cenang pentai. we got a good deal of berjaya resorts on agoda website. the rates were reasonably less as compared to those offered by berjaya resorts website. we had a wonderful stay and a memorable holiday at berjaya resorts.

Feel like "Kate" from "Lost"”

Great restaurant, chalets have great amenities, excellent pool and Dev tours of rainforest are must for adventure lovers

Every time I go to Langkawi and stay at my Berjaya Langkawi, I channel my inner “Kate” and pretend I’m on the show “Lost”. Because Berjaya Langkawi has everything any adventure traveler would love - the same almost deserted, white sand beaches with the clearest blue green water that literally beg you to tip your toes in it at least once. The hotel is made in such a way that it lets you breathe, live and walk around in a 300 million year old rainforest with all its strange exotic birds, the wonderful sounds of the mysterious critters and the playful monkeys which come knocking your door. But at the same time, quite unlike the plane wrecked characters on Lost, Berjaya Langkawi provides you with all the technology and amenities (wireless, blow-dryer and good selection of TV channels in my case) to survive in this actual jungle. Although we were staying in this quaint, wooden, Rainforest Chalet that looked creaky and old from afar, inside everything was 5-star quality. It’s got a bed that you want to never get out of and a small toilet with a great shower. But my favourite part of the room was the gallery/terrace. I would sit there at night and listen to all the strange sounds for hours. I would hope to see a snake but none passed by (much to my dismay) Early mornings sitting in the terrace were gorgeous. I couldn’t really see the beach but it was satisfying to be so close to nature and see the sun come out through all the dark trees.

Wonderful experience”

Berjaya was a really great resort. Me and my wife went there few weeks back for our holiday. The entry road to the resort was beautiful and serene. We booked a rainforest chalet and have been upgraded to a sea view premier chalet. it was located perfectly so you felt far enough away from the main hub to enjoy the peace. A big thank you to the lady in charge of the check in process at that time. However we didn’t like the welcome drinks though, as we were super exhausted and expected something more refreshing. The chalet was quite large, it was very quiet with nice sound of the waves lapping on the rocks nearby. Room was very comfortable with adequate amenities. The room was kept totally spotless by the cleaners. The balcony was large and airy with two sun beds overlooking the sea. Although it was the start of the rainy season we had only a couple of short showers and one cloudy morning. Overall it was hot and sunny every day. The shuttle service to and from the Chalets was super and we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes. The souvenir shop had really nice collections, regret not buying anything from here as it seemed overpriced. The cable car is walking distance from the resort. Breakfast and dinner buffets at the Dayang cafe were really good with a lot of varieties, with a nice mix of ethnic and multi cuisine. However it got little crowded and the café needs to be larger to accommodate huge number of guests especially during breakfast. At night we enjoyed music at the bar corner beside the lobby lounge, it was wonderful, the singers were friendly, sang great classical numbers and we enjoyed every bit of it.The receptionist was helpful in getting my wife's phone charged as she would have to run to the room otherwise, she would miss the music which were being performed at the bar cafe. Overall we had a great time in Langkawi and in particular Berjaya Resort. We would go back again someday. A special thanks to the smiling people working in Berjaya a

Staffs, Service, Restaurant

I had a choice of Westin, Sheraton, Rebak Marina which my husband selected but I still want to return to this resort. I love this resort. This is my second time staying here and the resort acknowledges it. I received a complimentary upgrade, a welcome fruit basket, a cake and a personalised letter from their General Manager. The reason why I returned to this hotel was mainly because of their staffs and services. Smiles from every single staffs, the willingness to assist in every and anyways. I dined at Pahn Thai and I was busy talking to my husband, I made my orders quickly and this is the first time, I forgot to tell the waitress not to put peanuts in all my meals because I am highly allergic to peanuts. When they served the meal, I realised that I was eating Thai food and there has to be peanuts in it, so I just asked the waitress to check with her chef and she came back and confirmed that there were peanuts. She asked are you allergic? I said yes highly, so she said I'll see what I can do.... she came back with another dish without peanuts and said, its complimentary from my chef. I said no, it wasn't your fault its because I did not inform you earlier, she said never mind, just enjoy it... Generally, ALL their staffs are extremely friendly, helpful, kind and jovial, which every resort in Malaysia should follow their example, this is truly Malaysian hospitality. I enjoyed the room, the services, the food was awesome especially at the Beach Restaurant & Mizumi Japanese. I will not trade any resorts with this because I had really had good experiences with them on both my stays. I would like to congratulate their General Manager and their Training department for doing such a awesome job in training their staffs. Their passion to serve is unspeakable. Thank you so much Berjaya Langkawi, I will surely return very soon and of course, will highly recommend this resort to everyone I know

Beautiful paradise”

We came for only a night and stayed in one of the chalets on the ester, but we wish we had spent our entire visit here! Set in a gorgeous location and private beach, the lush Berjaya Langkawi Resort was the perfect getaway from the stress of city living. Multiple restaurants with a variety of cuisine are on the property (not much food options outside the resort that are easy to get to). Staff was all very helpful and friendly. Most villas and chalets are set apart from the hotel lobby, but a lift is provided within 5 minutes to get you to/from your room. Would highly recommend a splurge for a night or two in the water, or spend longer at the resort in one of the garden villas that more budget-friendly. The resort is located near tourist attractions for those who want to experience more than a relaxing resort. Would highly recommend to friends and family and wishing I was back in my chalet listening to the waves rolling in!

A Massive Resort but still intimate and secluded”

We loved the fact that whilst we had all a big resort has on offer, but we had out own little chalet tucked away in the rain forest surrounded by nature

Berjaya Langkawi Resort for us was a fantastic choice of accommodation for our stay in Langkawi. The chalet in the rain forest was immaculately presented and serviced daily. It was perfect for the 2 of us being spacious and everything we needed. The shuttle service to the main hotel reception was outstanding being available 24/7 and only ever a 5 minute wait. We dined at the 3 restaurants in the resort but our favourite was the Bahn Thai restaurant on the pier serving beautiful authentic Thai food and the staff were wonderful. Berjaya is a few kilometers from the main centres of Cenang and Kuha, but as we had hired a car which was incredibly cheap when we arrived at the airport, we were able to move around the island very easily, We can certainly recommend this Resort and will definitely go back again

Resort with Pleasant Surprises”

Everything about the resort.

I was greeted by friendly staff of the hotel, and checking-in was a breeze. When I reached the family suite that I booked, I was delighted by the fact that the hotel staff made effort to have 4 rooms all lined side by side, so that it is convenient for us to stay together (we booked 2 family suite, each suite comprises of 2 adjoining rooms with an internal door that has direct access). Once we entered the room, we were more than surprised and delighted with the excellent sea view. The room amenities were normal, with normal beds and such. No bathtub though, but we do not need one. But there's free wifi, with limited connectivity at the room. But once we reach the lobby, the connection was superb. The resort is very much self sufficient, with swimming pools, a private beach with the usual sea sports (less diving). The resort is also within walking distance to the island's Cable Car ride, and the hotel provides a one way transport there (within 10min walking distance). The only down side of the hotel is that it is far from the towns and shopping centres. But taxis are readily available at the hotel. I was quite bored and disappointed with what is available at Langkawi, but enjoyed a relaxing stay at Berjaya Resort. I will definitely return again, not for enjoying at Langkawi, but to have a relaxed family trip.

Berjaya Langkawi Resort ... all you can ask for.”

Before our trip, I was told that the resort was nice but old.... to our surprise, the resort has a certain charm compared to the other resorts on the island. It is self contained with great restaurants and activities to occupy us for the whole 4 days. Although we did rent a car for day excursions, we really didn't need it since we can spend one day at the beach, one day at the pool, one day going to the cable car/sky bridge and one day doing other water activities or geopark activities like zip lining. Although the resort is dated, it was still functional and satisfied all of our needs. The beach chalets were great and the sound of the ocean was very soothing. The pickup trams were great eventhough sometimes the wait time was over 10 minutes but it wasn't too bad. I even walked from the furthest beach chalet to the central building, and it took about 10-15 minutes. Overall I would recommend the Berjaya Langkawi resort for its friendly staff, wonderful location and a great getaway.

Great resort in a serene location”

Serene location, rooms are mainly detached, resort is fully equipped with many restaurants, activities, wildlife etc.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Berjaya Langkawi Resort and our only regret was that 2 nights wasn't enough to fully wind down and appreciate what the resort has to offer. We travelled with our 7 year old daughter and stayed in a Family Chalet consisting of two inter-connecting chalets. The resort is spread out over a large area ensuring a peaceful environment and to minmise walking time (as some of the chalets can potentially be quite far from the main reception area) they have an excellent shuttle service which comes and collects you from your room within a matter of minutes. The resort is located in what appears to a very quiet part of Langkawi (admittedly we were travelling during off-peak) lots of great scenery and wildlife

This holidays were outstanding. The Berjaya resort management was tremendously kind helpful flexible and pragmatic in helping us out with a booking and chalet studio bed place issue for our children. They made us an unforgettable stay in Langkawi within that resort without any complication or discussion. This place is unique with so many exotic plants and tree as well as animals we had never seen before. All funny monkeys all around Langkawi will stay in our memories and hearts. The service and restaurants with drinks and food were excellent too. Our stay of 10 days was much too short and we all were very sad when had to leave it. Malaysia is a beautiful unbelievable friendly country and Langkawi is its pearl. We´d like to return immediately if distance and costs wouldn´t matter. Thank you Berjaya.
