"When stuck in the rain, on a high-demand Melbourne night, this was a spacious hideaway at the edge of town that was clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and while basic, the facilities were well up on their star rating and price point. The only downside is I must have been the latest person to wake up for the day and by then, shower time was a cold to lukewarm at best start to the day, but for the value, even this wouldn't put me off returning if ever in that part of the world seeking shelter :)"

"The room was great, and perfect for our romantic getaway but felt a little small. The lawns and gardens, and pool were perfect and very well looked after. The owners were generous and friendly and kind. The only negative I would say is they need to stop reusing the shampoo etc bottles and maybe remove one of the armchairs and give a better sense of space. We will definitely be back "
