3 star hotel with very good staff”
staff were excellent throughout - food was good - easy for shops
we were celebrating my daughters birthday, a party of nine - 6 adults and 3 children, the staff were excellent and the breakfast and evening meals were very good. the hotel is a bit of a rabbit warren and i had asked for a room suitable for someone with limited mobility, but i found myself up and down stairs and corridors, i had torn my knee ligament some two weeks earlier and it proved a little painful, other than that our stay was very pleasant and we would go again to the this hotel. drinks and food is reasonable. again, the staff throughout were hard working and attentive at all times.

Executive King Room

Reasonable comfort for those with minimal baggage”
location,
We stayed 3 nights in an "executive king" room, accessible via a labyrinth of corridors and staircases with no elevator. The only alternative on the ground floor was cramped and claustrophobic, so we left our checked bags in the car and dragged our carry-ons to the "executive" room. The shower did not work until a muscular member of staff managed to force open the control valve! Thereafter it worked but the temperature setting was hard to adjust. Breakfast was good but comparatively expensive. Our room had a pleasant view across the old town to peaceful countryside but looked out over a playground in the adjoining school which was very noisy during breaks. It is only a few minutes walk downhill to the old town with cafes, restaurants (including two excellent Thai restaurants) shops and a twice-weekly market in the main square. If you like quaint old English country inns, you will enjoy this. If you prefer modern functioning facilities including elevators, you may prefer to look elsewhere!

location, clean, good breakfast
I, like many others, require a total invoice to reclaim expenses. Please send me an invoice for this stay. Can your invoicing policy change to accomodate the provison of a full invoice at check-out?
