Small room , dim”
The room is small for 3 ppl, struggled to place our luggage The sofa bed is not good there isn’t enough room light , the light available is yellowish . I accidentally saw two tiny bugs on my bed during the last night of my stay . Not sure if they had been with me the whole time. Friendly n helpful staff A bit of a walk to the subway station. Close to Eateries n drugstores

For those who want to hang out Sakae entertainment area it is quite in good location as it is almost centre of the area and there is Starbucks at groound floor is very helpful for coffee lover like me!

Hotel is in convenient location and there are lots of shops nearby and Starbucks at level 1 for convenient coffee fix. However hotel is aged, were given a room smells bad and crack wall at entrance and toilet which I had to pushed for a change in room. Room is small, different from usual BW. Hotel need renovation. Car park closed during our 3 nights stay and hotel didn't update nor inform. We ended with their alternative car park, need to walk 5min to collect car and you can't access your car when needed as the car park charges per hourly rate which is very inconvenience. Also car park expensive and you need to time carefully.

Tiny Room. Dusty. Bathroom stinks”
Location - great location, 20 mins walk (with luggage), 10 mins walk (without luggage) from two subway lines. Many affordable restaurants, family run cafes Reception staff - not that friendly, but professional Room - it was tiny, and very dusty. The decor and ambiance were dated, needed serious upgrading. Bathroom - though clean, but smelled of piss that we could not get rid of. Breakfast - we didn't have their breakfast This is the first time staying with an American chain hotel. Probably the last.

Best Western Hotel Nagoya is very very near Nagoya Tokyu Hotel. The best way to reach the hotel from the airport is to ride the bus. It has a Starbucks below and lots of restaurants nearby that closes late at night. Exit 12 of Sakae station is nearby. Staff was helpful and friendly.

i had a lovely week staying at the best western hotel nagoya. i went by myself and the staff were very friendly. the facilities were perfect and in good shape. the area was also really nice in downtown nagoya (sakae)

Great Location & Comfortable”
This hotel is located in the Sakae district of Nagoya. There are a lot of great restaurants and shops in the area as well as a lot of interesting museums and parks. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the Sakae station. The actual neighborhood the hotel in doesn't have a lot of the big stores. These stores are about 10 minutes away by foot, but this was a good thing because the area around the hotel was much quieter and the cafes were also a lot less crowded. we did not find it inconvenient at all to walk down the street to the main shopping area and appreciated the quieter night life when trying to sleep. The rooms were a bit small but it was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The free wi-fi was also great, The only problem we had was that the room was very warm the first night. We lowered the temperature as far as it would go but the air conditioning never turned on. Since it was early fall, it was horrible but it wasn't very comfortable either. The second night seemed better though. All in all, a great room in a great area at a good price. I would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Nagoya.

Have stayed in this hotel from 27th July to 1 August 2014. Upon check in, staff was very friendly and efficient. Room was okay but when one extra bed was put in a twin room, we hardly have space to walk around especially with our 3 big luggage. However, the main concern was the centralised aircon was not good enough for the summer stay. When complain to the reception staff, the lady followed to the room and asked us to feel the weak "cool" air coming out from the aircon compartment. After informing a few times that that "cool" air was not good enough, the lady offered us a fan instead. Really feel disappointed in this. Otherwise, the location was good. It is in Sakae area, near to the MRT exit 12. As my mother could not go down the stairs to the MRT station, we were walking towards OASIS 21 directions to catch the MRT train. OASIS 21 has proper lift and escalator, great for elderly person. Convenient stores: Lawson, 7-11, family mart were just nearby. Easy to buy drinking water and normal daily staff. Airport transfer bus is just next to Tokyu hotel, a hotel next to best western nagoya hotel. This costs 1000 yen per pax for the transfer to Nagoya International airport.

Nice staff, friendly Even a little bit far away from Sakae station, gotta walk along the station shopping street to exit 12 Small room as usual in Japan All u need inside the room, shave, toothbush, bath salt~Very nice Walking distince to the shop i wanna go, Stussy, APE...Shopping mall Parco also in walking distince I'll stay in this hotel next time if i stay in Nagoya, good price
