Great Location”

the best thing about this hotel is the location. it is located within walking distance from the piazza maggiore (neptune fountain), the train station (bologna centrale) and other main attractions in the centre of bologna city, but at the same time far from the busy and noisy main street. the room was okay for the price we paid, for one night to celebrate the new years eve. our room balcony was a plus and the rooftop is splendid, you can see the whole city and its breathtaking.

Superb accomodation with central location”

I really enjoyed my stay here especially as this hotel has the best view from its rooftop. Every staff is very helpful and speaks english very well (I found local people in Bologna don't really speak english). I would like to stay here again when I visit Bologna definitely.

Perfect location!”

Bologna is an old city so you can also expect an old building. But everything was very clean and the staff were very accommodating. Love them! There is also a terrace for every room and there was a huge roofdeck for you to relax after dinner. If there is one negative, the walls were kinda thin so you hear a bit of the other room. But all in all, awesome experience!

Great ”

Very nice place close to the main attractions: in a couple of minutes you get Bologna Towers, Piazza Maggiore, S. Petronio Church and so on. The Hotel is clean, the breakfast is really good and the staff very kind.

excellent location in historical heart”

the best western is located in a palace at the beginning of via zomboni, and at the gates to the erstwhile ghetto, right in the center of the medieval city. our room was correct, reasonably appointed, but with a window...on a wall. bathroom is basic with a very small shower. hotel lounge is warm and welcoming and offers a "haapy hour". do not miss the view from the terrasse!

great hotel with great location”

overall this hotel is best recommended for any traveler to Bologna. only point to note that is not to check in on sunday as the main road is close for walkers. we got candies every time we are away from the room...

Fantastic position, very friendly staff”

Brilliant. The hotel is centrally located right in the centre of Bologne. You can ealk to all the main attractions - churches, towers, statues, museums and restaurants - and the shops. The room was spacious and clean. A chair to sit on and a few more coat hangers would have made it even better. Tea and coffee amking facilities are not immediately available but if you ask they will be provided. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone visiting Bologne. DOn't forget to go to the 4th floor. The view from the roof terrace is fantastic.

The greatest advantage is the location: right at the center of town, next to restaurants and bars. Never the less, the hotel is very quite and peaceful. The lobby is very large and very comfortable, cosy and welcoming. The crew was also attentive and efficient. They also recommended on some very good, not expensive restaurant. All together I had a very positive experience, and I would try to come back.

Good hotel”

This international franchise hotel offers a large, clean room with beautiful antique furnishing inside the room. Breakfast was great with a variety selection to choose from. Internet is fast but requires entering a password every half an hour which was quite annoying. We had very quick check in which was very good for us as we needed an immediate shower after growing very tired of walking in the heat of the summer afternoon. However when we were checking out after our time of stay we had to wait 10-15min for the receptionist lady to hang up the phone and check us out. This was very annoying as we were getting late for our train and after a while I had to get her off the phone and urge the her to check us out immediately and later that day we almost missed our train. It takes 30min on foot to the station

Enjoyed our stay, location meant we could walk to sightseeing points, restaurants, shopping. staff were obliging and friendly. View from the rooftop terrace was fabulous. If church bells ringing are a bother, better select a venue out of the central city.

heart of bologna”

this hotel although within the medieval town is almost spacious. the clerk was willing to print out some doc's from my flash drive. chambermaids were alert and watched for who was coming and going. 100 meters to north is a little restaurant featuring portuguese style food and drink. the university population keeps the area vibrant and lively. many sites to visit are within a 20-25 minute walk.

Central Located in Bologna with Fantastic View”

Very good hotel in the area. Hotel has smoking area for guest. Free drinks (coffee/tea etc) throughout at the lounge area. No food except breakfast.

This is a decent hotel - not top of the line. However, it's a good location and the little roof top terrace is charming.

Great location, old rooms”

Plus: Very good location, close to the central. Very nice terrace to have breakfast, and breakfast is also good quality. Breakfast-staff is very nice and friendly. Minus: Rooms are like from 90's, air-conditioning system is even older I guess. Extremely small shower - I kept hitting my elbows to the door. Reception-staff (ladies) are not very friendly, but thankfully the gentleman there is helpful.

La literie laisse à désirer ! Je me lève avec des douleurs cervicales. Douche minimaliste à faible débit ! Et surtout le bruit, une horreur! J’entendais même Les mets des voisins ! Les valises qu’on tire de part et d’autres, les volets qu’on descend…. La première et la dernière fois! Le personnel était cependant agréable
