location good but oh so small rooms”

Hotel lobby is small and the rooms are smaller but they are clean. Shower is so small that you can barely turn around. Location is the key to this Hotel close by to Metro and cafes. Walking distance to the Arc and Camps Elssy. Grocery store is also near by. Our stay was good because of the location and the price we paid for the room which is good considering this is in central Paris. Would stay there again.

Surpassed my Expectations...”

Overall, our one night stay at the Mercedes BW was a great experience. Our flight arrived in the morning, they were very good about letting us leave our luggage and let us check in a couple of hours early with no charge. Very helpful staff. Smallest elevator I've ever seen, but worked fine. Room was street side on the 6th floor. Not too noisy. Great access to the Metro which allows you to go anywhere in minutes. Take the Air France bus for about 15 euros and get off on the 2nd stop. Then a short 10 minute walk to the hotel. Our stay didn't include breakfast, so we just grabbed a croissant and coffee across the street. We thought the breakfast was quite expensive for what it provided.

The staff tip the scale”

The hotel is located at the 17th Arn and right by the Metro station Wagram line 3. Easy to get around and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend the hotel for other single traveler as well.

Classic Art Deco in the right location for all of Paris, (the Metro is on the corner), very comfortable and very attentive staff, good food, well priced.

Good hotel, rooms a little cramped, good service. ”

we had two rooms, a twin for the children and a double for the adults. the double was small with very little room to move inthe room or the bathroom. however, the twin was very comforatble. rooms were next to one another but there were no interconnecting rooms so not good for young families. the location was good, close to metro stations and walking distance to arc d'triomphe. hotel was clean, basic amenities and helpful service.

Room is a tad dark, but cozy and comfortable”

This hotel is ideal for business people with a lower budget. It is only two minutes walk to Wagram metro station and a few stops will get you to Opera terminal to change to another line to reach any number of central locations in Paris for meetings or conventions. Opera terminal is also where the City Hop-on Hop-off tour buses operate, so this is convenient for sightseeing. While the continental breakfast is decent I think one will grow tired of it after a few days, so for a longer stay other hotel options should be considered if breakfast is important to you. Wifi is free.

The hotel was quit, acroos the street from a Patiserrie, had a good sushi restaurant around the bloc”

Good shower, comfortable beds and qiuet on the 6 th floor, windows open wide for city view. Room 630 is a good room but on two, hard to reach elecrtrical outlets. Need update hairdryer tgat will stay on once button pushed. We enjoyed our 4 day stay, ez ride by taxi to airport.

Comfortable Stay”

Our stay was good, the metro is really close and its easy to navigate to the city attractions . The room was much larger than expected and the Staff were very nice and helpful .

bad timing”

seems this was avery bad timing, the weather was very hot, but obviously exactly during the time of my stay they told me the aircon doesnt work in all the hotel. I ended up sleeping all nights with open window, close to a big road. They say they have free wifi in all the rooms, but it was just too slow and I went to the lobby with my laptop where the receiption was good. there was also no minibar in my room, which is a bit weird for such a hotel

Comfortable”

My only comment about this hotel is that, bathroom sink has a leak 2) Their internet is down, when in agoda we are informed they have wifi 3) Lastly, elevator is too small and it hardly fits a luagage.

Convenience location but small room”

Convenience location but small room. Close to the metro station, easy access to the city. Quite helpful of the reception staff. Lobby and lift are very small. Only two to three star grade hotel. Breakfast is not included so didn't know the food and dining. Expensive room rate.

Great location but tiny rooms,shower and elevator.”

nothing of real significance to report. I liked the availability of snacks until very late. The tiny size of rooms is a big negative. you can not turn in the shower without either pushing the shower 'melangeur' or pushing the door open. And I'm 73kgs. No essential cable channels (CNBC or Bloomberg) which is key to business travelers. No remote control. Sorry, not going back there until all those negatives are dealt with.

Not a great place to stay!”

We were excited to stay in family suite as it looked amazing in the the pictures! The check in experience was awful,- the guy at the desk didn’t make any effort to make us feel welcomed or let us know how to get to metro orany points of interest from there. Then he showed us how to strategically stack our suitcases in the elevator of the size of wry small closet! The “family suite” had a small chair/bed set up for our 6 ft 3 tall son. When I asked to set up sofa bed instead, I was told it is dirty and cannot he used! The old plastic bathtub upstairs didn’t have a toilet so you had to take your chances in the middle of the night to go down the spiral staircase with the light switch at the bottom of it, so all had to happen in the dark! The whole place was so run down and dirty, I was grateful we were only staying there for a night! If we booked it for our entire stay in Paris,I feel it would ruin the experience! Do not recommend!There’s got to be better places to stay in Paris!
