Great Room Poor Welcome
Very clean and spacious room and comfort room. Love the bed and sheets.
I love the room I got. Very clean and spacious. Sleep was good. The location is pretty scary because you'll pass by a lot of scary people (like group of people gathered together who look like drunk) and the smell stinks. Sad to see there's a lot of homeless lying around the area because it was really cold. I didn't like the experience when I checked-in. It was like I was talking to a robot. The receptionist never smiled, rapidly provided me the information on where to sign which floor and information on wifi inside the room. It was as if she's so tired or annoyed that she was disturbed from what she was doing. No pleasantries at all being a client of their hotel. Same person on duty when I checked out. No pleasantries at all. Just acknowledged what I said I am checking out. I won't stay in this hotel in this location anymore and wouldn't recommend it. The neighborhood is a bit scary (at least for me) and the awful receptionist.

At heart of city
Near by everything. Easy to find,
It was easy to find the building from few blocks away. Near to food and shopping, however little far from skytrain station. Room was OK, just only cleaning is not perfect: someones' hair was on wall of shower room.

A Chateau to Return to.
Staff friendliness and very helpful at all times. Separate and spacious bedroom appreciated. Balcony an added plus feature.
Our stay here was generally a positive and pleasing experience. A downside for me was that I usually conduct stretching and yoga exercise on the floor, but when we discovered that dogs live in these rooms I stopped. We were not advised at booking that dogs were encouraged but our last night was very off-putting as a yapper from across the hall started around 6pm and having left a request message at 9.45pm at that room to settle the dog it didn't happen as I believe that the owner had gone out for the night. Did report at checkout and was questioned why didn't call reception, however as I said and what would you have done about it. I love dogs but we didn't travel 8000miles for that part. Again the overall experience was good. Would we stay again - yes but I would want to know what extra cleaning is carried out after a doggy stay.

Great staff, comfortable room, reliable wifi
Helpful staff, freshly renovated rooms, good restaurant on site
It was great to find a comfortable room at a good price just a few minutes walk from the sky train. We liked the on site restaurant, the staff were efficient and friendly. When we had to unexpectedly stay an extra night they were willing to make some changes so we could keep the same room. The area is a mix of new and rundown but it's great to see things are being revitalized. We heard some street noise but they're currently in the process of installing all new double paned windows to help with this issue. We would definitely stay here again!
