Beautiful hotel”
The hotel is as expected, clean, beautiful and convenient to travel to and from the airport. Room amenities are perfect. Our only problem is that we booked this hotel because it had free shuttle to the airport. However the shuttle bus works from 5am, which meant we had to pay 30€ for Taxi on top of the room price. The shuttle bus schedule should be written on the page so customers are aware. Thanks

Comfortable and Affordable Hotel”
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The restaurant provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner at a reasonable price and the food is delicious. We also made use of the indoor pool and the free airport shuttle. We liked that it is close to a metro stop for easy access to the city.

GREAT HOTEL IF . . .”
We use this hotel because it is near to the airport for connecting flights and has also the requirements for cleanliness and services. (they also accept pets). But if you are selecting this hotel because of the free shuttle to avoid the 20 Euro minimum taxi fare, be aware that the shuttle only runs mornings 5AM-10:30AM, then evenings 6:15PM until Midnight, or maybe there is a 00:30.

Great stay, Great Staff at BW Alfa”
Thanks Best Western and especially to the front desk staff for two great stays!! We arrived for a one night stay and needed to store some luggage which the front desk staff kindly assisted us with until we returned a few days later. Manuel was particularly helpful and went the extra mile for us one several occasions with various requests we had and really provided the best customer service. The free hotel shuttle is an added bonus. Sadly our flight was delayed and we arrived after the last shuttle run for our return and had to pay a 24 Euro taxi fare to the hotel. Have the free shuttle option is a great savings if you are going back and forth to the airport. The hotel is a bit far from most of the popular sites of Barcelona but a great option if you are looking for a hotel near the airport. My husband ate at the restaurant and said the food was excellent as was the buffet breakfast. Thanks to everyone at Alfa!!

Not a bad choice for transit or short stay”
We stayed in Best Western Alfa Aeropuerto just for one night which was close to the airport. It provided shuttle services around the clock. Although it was a budge hotel and the room was somewhat small, it was clean and neat; we believed it had been renovated not too long ago. The hotel provided everything you needed for your trip and the bed sheets and towels were very clean and white. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. It should be a good choice for transit or short stay.

We'll run hotel close to airport”
Very friendly staff welcomes you to this well run hotel close to airport. Best of all it has a free airport shuttle which does not seem to be easy to find. For Barcelona prices this hotel is a good value. The Location is not likely to be one that you would go to if it were not near the airport - very industrial. But if you need a place near the airport you won't go wrong here. The food at the bar is very good. The staff is responsive. Beds are comfortable.

Best Western Aerpuerto, Barcelona, Spain, Review”
The Best Western Airport, Barcelona was an oasis on a heavy traveling day. The free Airport Shuttle picked us up at the designated point exactly on time - and the departure from the hotel the next morning was equally correct. The restaurant in the lobby had excellent light fare for this short time term, the front desk accomodating and efficient, and the room was more than adequate for 2 people, and was blessedly clean, attractive and cofortable.

Exceptional”
The hotel is quite far from city center, but perfect if you want to be close to the airport. We paid 20 Euro to get to the Sagrada Familia, but it was worth it to avoid the hassle in the morning of being further away from the airport. For longer trips, I would probably stay at a hotel in city center, but this hotel was perfect for our one day stay as we passed through. Nothing else is around, but the hotel had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant served delicious food. My only suggestion would be to have 2 people at the counter in the morning during checkout. Dina was by herself trying to collect city tax and coordinate the shuttles to the airport. She looked quite flustered and stressed to the point that she pulled everyone off the shuttle back into the hotel to make sure that we had all paid our city tax. I believe this could have been avoided if she had help. Otherwise, everything was great! I will definitely recommend Hotel Alfa.

Airport convenience with access to city centre”
The Best Western Alfa is only 15 minutes by shuttle from Terminal 1 and the shuteye runs quite frequently from the hotel. It's a modern hotel, rooms are attractive, staff very friendly and helpful and there is a good buffet breakfast for €10.90. A bus going into the city passes the door or you can walk for about 10-15 minutes to the nearest Metro station.

This is a great little hotel for stay close to Barcelona Airport. We flew in late and rented a car the following morning. Very clean, nice room, friendly staff, and free shuttle bus to Barcelona airport terminals. Reasonable cost. If you want somewhere close to the airport, this hotel is fine.

Great for overnight stay before flight”
Our stay was very good. Went into Barcelona on bus right outside hotel (every 30 minutes, 2.15 euros) as soon as we arrived there. Caught taxi from airport to hotel because we did not want to wait for the hotel bus (20 euros). Did not eat at hotel. Shuttle to airport in morning was great - on time, etc. Make sure you book it when you check in. Hotel agent at desk was great - spoke English,friendly, answered all our questions, etc. The hotel could use some upgrading & renovation but served our purpose perfectly.

Great place to stay for your trip to Barcelona”
This is my second stay here and will be my choice of where to stay in Barcelona. The location is reasonably close to the airport. The shuttle service is a bonus which will save you 20 euros in taxi fares each way. Its not in the city centre but for 2.20 euros by bus which is on the doorstop, its a great alternative, you'd be paying that for using the metro. Now about the hotel... the staff are amazing, they couldn't do enough for us. Danny our receptionist should get paid more for what he does. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast sensational. It is a little bit of tranquility in a busy city. I have stayed at lots of 5 star hotels around the world but this hotel is right up there as a favourite.

Good hotel close to the airport”
It was a good overnight stay close to the airport, the hotel is nice, rooms are spacious, bathroom was refurbished, the price/value ratio was absolutely ok, I would recommend this hotel to anybody who needs to get to the airport next day - 10 km away from downtown Barcelona (15 Euro by taxi), rather difficult to reach by public transport

The best choice for getting the early flight”
This hotel is located near Barcelona Airport. If you have to get the early flight, this is the best choice. They provide the free shuttle bus to the airport frenquently. Anyway, if you wanna go out at night to the city, there is also the bus stop in front of the hotel for you. Moreover, the food of the hotel is very good, but it might be very busy for dinner. So, just get there early if you decide to have dinner in the hotel.

Great for an overnight stay between flights”
We stayed here between a late-night and next-day afternoon flight. Our flight landed at 11:50, and the free shuttle to the airport runs until 00:30 - perfect for us. The check-in was easy, and the room was very clean and modern; housekeeping gave us a water bottle with lemon and mint, which was a nice touch. We checked out the next morning and took the airport shuttle back to the airport, with no problems. If you want to sightsee in Barcelona, I would probably suggest staying somewhere closer. But if you need a place to stay between flights, this is a fantastic option.

When I checked out, I forgot to take my stuff.. Then I stayed another place another day. When I depart from Barcelona, the hotel staff brought my stuff to the airport. I even missed first try because I was wrong place to meet the hotel staff. However, the hotel staff came to the airport again... Finally, I received my stuff. Again, I sincerely appreciate your service.

Good for stay near airport”
I stayed here for one night. the main reason for the stay is I had to catch an early flight and hotel provides the free shuttle. Rooms were pretty clean and with nice interiors. The outer look does not justify the interiors. if you are looking to stay here and see Barcelona for couple of days, you have an option of catching the TMB bus. the bus stop is right next to the hotel. I did not have any food here so cannot comment on it. overall, I had a pretty good experience here. I would recommend it.

Great pet-friendly hotel near airport”
We stayed in the pet friendly room and it was very clean and a good size. Nice bathroom with good shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy bus into town (only 15/20mins) and great free airport shuttle provided. Would stay here again.

Value for money”
The Hotel is value for money. Although it is not in the centre of Barcelona, the city is easily accessible by bus. The No 21 bus stops outside the premises and for 2.10E you can get to the Columbus monument. If you don't mind the 25 minute bus trip then the place is value for money as it is on the airport side of the city. The hotel also runs a shuttle back and forth to the airport
