Roomy suites and great breakfast!
Service with a smile, good location, breakfast, comfortable room
we were placed here following agoda's failing to pass a booking on to the hotel we thought we had booked. agoda were quick to remedy the situation by placing us at ambra which was walking distance from the first hotel. it was 11pm and we were thankful for the quick turnaround. the service at ambra was lovely, the rooms were very comfortable and not too small and the breakfast was varied and enjoyable. this hotel is also just off kiraly street which has lots of nice restaurants and wine bars, and is very close to the jewish quarter, including ruin bars and less touristy coffee shops. i would recommend ambra. wish we stayed longer!

Good and confortable hotel
Good size room and good breakfast
A complete value for money hotel with really polite service, clean and large rooms and delicious breakfast served. The hotel is in a quiet location, but it is also very close to the metro. We only spent around 4-5 mins to reach the hotel from metro station (Opera station).

reasonably priced hotel in good area
location, quiet, comfortable
Got it on a deal, for around 60 quid for 1 night. Nice enough quiet hotel, pleasant staff, good breakfast. Great location, near Octagon and Opera. Think it was 4 star. Not sure if i'd give it that, but it was nice enough for a stay of a few days. Weird ugly carpets, but that's just personal taste. Also don't bother buying tickets to the baths from reception, just get them there. We were told prices were no different but the price of massages seemed much cheaper if just bought at the baths. Rooms were decent size, and bathroom was nice.

Cool decor, kind of sketchy neighborhood
The bathroom was really nice, and the breakfast was delicious with lots of free coffee
the walk from the train station to the hotel was pretty creepy. the guidebook warned this area was full of "unsavory" characters... and it was right. however, from the hotel down to the water it was a bit of a nicer walk. the room smelled really funny every time we walked in, but the a/c worked and then got rid of the smell. the front desk gave us a big packet of brochures when we checked in and helped arrange a cab ride to the airport when we left. overall, it was an ok experience,
