Great ventilation with open windows and water drains well for convenient showering. The room is a bit small but has a stylish feel and is clean. There are no toothbrushes or disposable slippers, so you have to buy them on the 1st floor. It's a bit uncomfortable to wear the slippers provided in the room, so I bought my own. Korean men mostly have athlete's foot, what can you do? There is ramen at the buffet, but who eats that? I ate two plates and couldn't eat anymore, I don't know who eats ramen. It's a shame that Garden Hotel doesn't have any special dishes. There are many types of meat, but the taste is not there. When I thought about it, the meat was already cold when it was brought to the table. Cold meat doesn't taste good, it should be hot. It seems like a device to maintain warmth is needed. The sashimi has a lot of quantity, but no taste. Any sashimi made with frozen fish doesn't taste good. It shouldn't be served if it's not fresh. It would be better to reduce the variety and increase the quality. There was one Thai-style Southeast Asian dish among the seafood dishes, and it was really delicious. The rice noodles were also delicious. And the kimchi was really tasty. I made a dessert called Apo Gatto for dessert and it was really delicious. The cakes and other desserts were too sweet, so I couldn't eat them. The dessert cakes are what I look forward to the most at the buffet, but I couldn't eat any because they were too sweet. I might get diabetes at this rate. The sugar content should be reduced. There is a San Dong Mandu restaurant behind the hotel, but don't go there. There's a long line and it's not worth it if you didn't make a reservation. The food is not good.

I always use this accommodation. There are various shops behind the hotel, and there is also a Sorbin nearby, and a Tteokbokki restaurant, so for breakfast, I have Tteokbokki and Kimbap made by the mother here! If you go to the next station, you can take a direct train to Seoul Station, and from Mapo Station, you can take a direct train to Gwanghwamun... It's okay to take a taxi or subway to Gimpo! There is a bus stop in front of the hotel to go to Incheon... It is very convenient! If you go to Seoul, this hotel is the best!

Can I send pictures? Otherwise, I can describe the hotel room. It is much larger than other nearby hotels, but the two single beds are only 90cm wide, which is only enough for one person to sleep comfortably. The hotel is in a great location, right in between the Kongdeok station on the airport express line and the Mapo station on line 5. Across the street is the airport bus stop. Behind the hotel, there are three or four famous local food shops, such as Egg Drop, Original Grandma's Fried Rice Cake (Guixian's favorite), and Baeknyeon Mapo Beef Bone Soup, all of which are very good! It is only one subway stop away from the Ruiyi Island. The hotel's Chinese service is sometimes available and sometimes not, and you will need to register your credit card information on-site, but otherwise, everything is very good!
Warm but nice rooms”
During the spring time, it seems the hotel's heating/cooling system is still set to heat. So while you can turn the heater off, you can't turn on the air. They do have windows that open but the area can be a little noisy if left open. So be prepared to be a bit warm in the rooms if you're travelling on a warmer March/April day. We had an issue with the tv and while it was resolved and they clearly did their best to fix it quickly it did take 45 minutes and by then, we were getting too tired to watch TV. The hotel staff did a great job with the issue but it wasn't something that should have been spotted before we were given the room. The room we stayed in was a double bed and a single bed. The headboard area clearly showed it was originally a two single bed set up. That plus the extended 'kitchen' area meant that there was very limited baggage storage. So be prepared to step over bags and struggle a bit if you have a large suitcase. Also, there are only two elevators for quite a lot of floors. If you need to stop at the lobby and are leaving after, I suggest taking the stairs down. (I sent my friend down with both of our bags when I hopped off on the second floor) Overall the room was clean though we did notice the sheets looked like they'd been mauled with several scratches/holes in them. They were however perfectly white and clean. And the beds and pillows were comfortable. The location was great for that area of Busan and while there was a slight fish smell outside due to the fishmarket being close, the rooms smelled clean and fresh. However, I'm unsure I would stay again if it was the mid-season where you could be either too hot or cold depending on the room.

Staffs are kind and the hotel is clean regardless the age of the building. Room wide window is nice and it opens as well for fresh air. Small bathroom has bathtub and toilet. Wash basin is outside the bathroom so one can take shower whilst another one can dry hair, etc. Location is great as it’s right in front of the airport limousine stop and tube stations are within a couple of minute walk. Many restaurants around the hotel yet it’s quiet. Parking space in the basement is rather limited but parking tower is also available at the back. Unlike other hotels, parking fee is just $3 per night. It’s all around great hotel for the price. Highly recommend.
