One of the Best in Alona”
I was happily surprised with our delightful stay in Best Western Plus The Ivywall Resort. It was a last minute booking as our plans to stay with a friend in Bohol did not push through. Location is great as it is close to local restos and during our stay (mid June 2022), boats for island hopping are within walking distance. The building is relatively new and clean. The pool is small but more than enough for guests without being on top of each other. We especially like the kiddie pool area with fountains and the strong pressure of the water falls. Though there are tiles already chipped away in the pool. Breakfast buffet is adequate. Though the egg station needs improvement. The poor chef there did not know how to make an omelet. :) People are also polite and helpful from those who picked us up from the airport (Noel), the reception (Mica) and to those who brought us to Hennan. When I asked my 2 kids on which resort we should go back to, by unanimous decision..Best Western. Thank you Best Western!

We had a very pleasant stay here. The staff were kind and accommodating. We had to upgrade our room to get a view of the beach and then they allowed us to check-in early so we could rest. We requested for a higher room to have a better view and by 6pm we were told the other room is ready! Yey! The room is spacious and clean. The pool is warmed and we loved it! The play area was perfect for my 3yr old daughter. We enjoyed playing billiards too! Buffet breakfast was great as well. **My only concern is that the toiletries were all expired(12/31/21). We only used the shampoo because we had no choice as we did not bring one haha. Overall it was a very relaxing, fun and enjoyable stay. Highly-recommended👌

The place is beautiful and clean with very accessible amenities and access to the beach. The staff are very friendly, helpful and extremely welcoming. The location and view are very relaxing and spectacular. Alon restaurant is a must try for their delectable appetiser, mains and desserts/puddings. Ideal for everyone- solo traveller, couple, family with kids as well as group. I will definitely book again and looking forward to staying in this highly recommended resort. Wonderful Stay at BWP 😁”
We had a wonderful stay at Best Western Panglao! We were upgraded to a beach front room and accommodated our request for an early checkin and higher floor room , staffs were very kind, amenities were complete, buffet breakfast was good and the area is quiet and peaceful considering a lot of people along alona beach at night. Location is on the center of Panglao in were restos, fast food(jollibee, mcdo &dunkin) banks, convenience store and drugstore are just a few walks away, so near the airport too (15 min ride). We had a pleasant experience and will surely stay on this hotel again if we'll come back to Bohol!

Excellent Accommodation for a Big Family”
Thank you so much Best Western IvyWall Panglao for the excellent service rendered to my big family. Breakfast buffet was just superb for Filipinos in all ages. Location is just so close to other shops. Thank you to the Sales Staff Jackielyn and to all the Housekeeping Team who accommodated all my last-minute request. It is so much appreciated. Pros: Location! Location! Location! We also stayed during weekdays, so we almost had the place to ourselves (which I can never say for Hennan.) I highly recommend this place if you will be staying with kids. Per our stay, two kids 11 yo and below (per room) were allowed to stay for free, and kids below 5 yo were allowed to join the buffet breakfast free of charge. Courteous staff. Nice location. Reasonable hotel policies. Cons: Booking thru Agoda. I do not know if it was the fault of the hotel or Agoda, but the designation of the different rooms at the Agoda App are almost identical with each other, i.e., 2 Double Beds, Double Beds Non Smoking, etc. I, thus, booked our three rooms based on the photos (showing direct pool access for at least two rooms). When we arrived, the Receptionist told us that we only booked one premiere room (with pool access) while the other two were only superior rooms, which did not have pool access, and worse, did not have veranda and sea view. I certainly remember that I booked two rooms with photos of the doors showing access to the pool. The Receptionist though was courteous in trying to resolve the matter -- by us paying for the room upgrade. Suggestion: take a video/screen record when booking thru Agoda. We also enjoyed the pool, but after doing so, we found our swimsuits with greenish matter, but we note the strong smell of chlorine, so, to be fair, I do not know if that was algae (looked like it was) from the walls of the pool or what. When we visited, too, the colorful chairs at the deck area (see the main photo of the hotel at Agoda) were removed. We were certainly hoping for some instagrammable photos. All in all, I will definitely go back to this hotel.

Family friendly hotel resort”
We were very satisfied with our stay in The Ivywall. Our young children enjoyed the kiddie pool of the hotel. We almost stayed there the whooole time! A great alternative to the beach esp if your kids are not a fan of salt water. Their food offers are also great! Big servings… great value for money. And the staff are just awesome! Friendly, helpful, and cheerful! Will definitely come back here again.

Super money worthy!”
We really did enjoy our stay here. It is super convenient as staff is always ready to assist. They can help you ask for a tricycle when you need to go somewhere like to eat. The breakfast buffet is great and there are tables available for beach front dining. We also felt super safe as the guards take notes of the drivers name and our room number every time we were picked up.

This hotel is new and nice. It hapoened that I was there when Odette happened and all I can say is that the staff were reallly awesome. They made sure that all of their guests are safe and they did not let us down. You can still see the smile on their faces even despite of the effect of the typhoon. I will still choose this hotel once go back in Panglao

The rooms & facilities are clean and the beds are comfortable to sleep in. The staffs are nice and accommodating. The foods are great. We will definitely choose BWP again when we go back to Alona beach.

We stayed for 3 days/2 nights, small family with a toddler. Staff : 5/5 They were warm and welcoming. Location : 4/5 Beach front. Good view. The hotel is 5-8mins (walking distance) away from the road but you can arrange your transportation with the front desk. Facilities : 4/5 They have a play area and the pool was well maintained. Services: 4.5/5 Breakfast buffet set up. They also have happy hour. Comment : Suggest to maintain or clean their front beach.
