A home away from home”
I stayed 2 nights and my only regret is that I couldn't stay more. Rooms are comfortable, you've got everything you need. Shared bathroom is perfectly clean at all time of the day. It is located in the nubian village, such a quiet place. With a beautiful view on the rooftop. Owner and his family are so kind and welcoming. I felt perfect!

Far from city center, manager was lying all the time, very irresponsible, room was smelly and dirty, full of mosquitoes, you can't sleep. Never stay at this place

A little expensive but nice”
there is a problem with the water line in the house. it's not easy to take a shower when there is just a drip of water coming out of the shower head. the house is quiet but one can hear to dogs barking almost all night long. there is a mosque near-by so it's quite convenient for someone who wants to pray at five in the morning. location is good but most attractions are on the other bank of the nile. the owner, is helpful and wants every guest to be satisfied. the staff is nice and courteous, they will do everything to help the guests. the breakfast is plenty and good, the supper is cheap and not bad. the house is very clean and there is plenty of clean towels. i was told that the guesthouse bet el kerem has known better days. in my opinion; for the same price, one can find better on the east bank of aswan.
