“Boutique hotel from the movies”
Love this hotel so much and will definitely be back! I got the Executive Suite with Queen Bed for a very discounted price so I was happy about that, cost about 250 usd per night (including tax). The hotel is truly a work of art. They have a gorgeous seating outside around the pool. The rooms I saw (and the one I had) are outside and accessible by stairs (the stairs are small so don't worry about too much walking). There's an accessible gym although I did not go inside. They did not offer complimentary water. They have a gift shop with all necessary toiletries and water. Even some gorgeous handbags if you like! I called the front desk to have someone send me bottles of water. There is an ice machine accessible outside. My room was great. It reminded me of suites from the movies. The bathroom was massive. No bathtub, just a shower. The bedroom was nice too, had a closet with a safe, a dresser and TV. I also had a living room with a TV connected to a kitchenette. They offered 2 single tea bags and 2 coffee single pads for use in the coffee machine each day. There was also a kettle. Microwave and oven present, mini fridge, sink, utensils, plates etc. There was some noise coming from upstairs around 9:30 am on the weekend I was there. Sounded like footsteps. I ordered room service twice for breakfast and enjoyed the butter milk pancakes as well as the french toast. They both came with warm maple syrup in a cup and numerous small packets of strawberry jam and butter so you have the choice to control what you add. Price was reasonable around 18-19 usd not including tax or tip (probably more affordable than getting pancakes/french toast elsewhere in the area). The area is great, especially if you have a car, but parking can be about 45 usd at the hotel a day! My friend who visited me parked on the street close by but I don't know if there's a guarantee you'll find a spot. Westfield Century City Mall is close by, and since I had no car and didn't want to order a ride, I walked there which was about a 20 minute walk mostly walking by gorgeous houses. Checkin had a deposit of 300 usd for my stay (2 nights in total). Checkin required ID and card (like most hotels). Checkout was done in a second and I they were able to hold my luggage during the day I was going to leave for the airport. TV in room had live TV channels. I liked the Hallmark channel and HGTV. Room also had a button to push for privacy, and another button to push if you want a maid to come. I had a late sleepin on one day and pushed the button for the maid to come after 12 pm and when I returned to the room at night, they had cleaned my room which I appreciate as a lot of hotels don't clean rooms this late. There was an outdoor jacuzzi and a nice lake. It is overall a very beautiful hotel. Would recommend it for sure!
