Amazing stay at Bhaya II”
We, a group of 22 friends, all enjoyed our 2-day cruise at Bhaya II during last Christmas. It was really an amazing and fantastic experience. The cruise was a wonderful way to explore the Halong Bay’s world heritage. The journey started with warm welcome greetings with a cocktail, refreshing hot towel and rose petals being dropped on us from the deck above. We were then briefed about safety and then served with a delicious seafood lunch in the restaurant on board. After lunch we relaxed for a while in our cabins which were clean and unique, then it was time going off by local rowing boats to visit the fishing villages and to see the beautiful scenery of Halong Bay. This was followed by free time to relax on deck, happy hours and Vietnamese cooking class in the restaurant. Dinner was superb and after the dinner, we stayed in the restaurant to have a party to celebrate the birthday of my friend, the crew staff are very all friendly and cheerful, we were very grateful to them for staying late to serve us. We all have an enjoyable night on board. The following morning after we had explored the Surprise Cave, we were then served with a sumptuous brunch before heading back to port I would definitely recommend the Bhaya cruise to anyone where we could experience a first-class service. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the friendly crew especially to Miss Loan Vu, the Manager of Bhaya II, who has arranged the birthday party for us and that we could all have an enjoyable and memorable trip during our stay with Bhaya. The only disappointment is that we could not see the sails of any Bhaya that is up for us to take the beautiful picture just like to one shown in the website.

Lovely Cruise in Halong Bay”
We booked a 3D2N cruise with Bhaya Cruises. On our way to Halong Bay, we received a call and the Tour Operator offered to upgrade us to the bigger Auca ship. Although the Auca is a very nice boat too, we decided to stay with our initial itinerary and were not disappointed. The cruise was amazing. The Bhaya Classic is a wooden boat that adds some charme to the voyage. The food onboard was amazing. On our second day, we transferred onto a small Bhaya boat (just our family) and spend a lovely day on a private cruise to Cat-Ba Island. The Team onboard was lovely and made our stay ever so special. All in all we had a great time on the Bhaya Classic and would definitely recommend the cruise company to other travellers!

Amazing, brilliant, a not to be missed experience,”
We were a family of four aged from 30's to 65's. We had an amazing 24 hour cruise in halong bay. Far outreached our expectations. The cruise company bhaya cruises provided a very high standard of care and service ensuring our trip was enjoyable. We were upgraded to the smaller legend boat which was of a luxury design and provided us with personal care and service. The meals were of a very high standard in both content and service and carered for individual requirements. All staff were friendly and ensured we had an amazing time. They changed the itinerary for us due to our on going flight being brought forward and the transfer was organised in an efficient manner. The activities on and off board were brilliant ensuring our safety and enjoyment. The booking was easy with speedy replies to any questions asked. Special mention to Andy Luii(in the booking office) and Tien and all cruise staff. I highly recommend this company and the cruise.

Excellent food. Excellent staff.”
Went for 2 day 1 night on 18 Jan to 19 Jan. Made wrong booking on Agoda (1 person instead of 2). The sale staff (Mr. Andy Luu) was excellent in helping me to sort it out. I informed him I have special request for food and that the shuttle bus service to picked me up at Tuan Chau Hotel on 20 Jan instead of leaving for Hanoi on 19 Jan. The food on board was very excellent, and the lead steward (?) went around to make sure everyone is comfortable and to answer questions. Tai Chi session was a bit of a letdown, as the instructor does not seem to be bothered and in a world of his own. Would suggest him to stand facing the side of the boat instead of the back so that people have space to move. The staff on cruise somehow know which guests ordered the different dinner options, and even remembered my diet requirement without asking. Impressive. On 19 Jan, the lead steward insisted that I need to head back to the cruise centre for the trip back to Hanoi. I contacted Andy again who resolved the issue with the operation staff. He also help me to check with the lost and found department as I found out I lost my allergy medication after the cruise. Very excellent follow up from him.

Amazing trip - but we were upgraded!”
First I must say that this review is based on our stay on the Au Co as we received a last minute upgrade... I can not fault my experience on the Au Co....it was excellent! We had originally booked the 3day/2night Bhaya Classic cruise and had a phone call at our hotel the night before to say we had been upgraded to the Au Co ship....we couldn't believe our luck! The staff are outstanding...smiling, friendly and extremely helpful....they were brilliant. We tried to give the man that showed us to our room a tip and he wouldn't accept it! The boat is amazing, the best we saw out in the Bay. You feel very safe onboard. The cabins were fantastic with private balcony. The restaurant, bar area and sun deck were also very good. Food was fab. Tea and coffee were free. Excursions were awesome - kayaking, cycling on Cat Ba island. All in all the cruise was exceptional. You will not be disappointed of you book Au Co!

Great boat, Great Staff,Great scenery”
Halong Bay cruise is something every tourist should do. The scenery is just beautiful - the island formations, the quaint floating fishing villages, the caves etc. We went for two days [one night] and that was good for us, but could imagine it would not be enough for some. It's a three hour trip by bus to Halong from Hanoi, but worth it to see life along the way. The boat we went on Bhaya III was crewed by delightful people and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Don;t miss it if you go to Vietnam.

Beautiful!”
After a fairly hectic 4hr drive from Hanoi (pickup at our hotel was early - good prompt service!)we were wondering if there would be anyone else on the boat with us as there were only 2 other people in our minibus. We arrived at Bhaya Cafe in Halong City only to find there were in fact 5 boat loads of people all ready to go. We boarded the boat via a smaller tender boat (very stable, lifejackets visibly available) and were welcomed on board with a cocktail, refreshing hot towel and rose petals being dropped on us from the deck above - very lovely! Overall the food was excellent although quite westernised. Service was fantastic. Our room was on the 2nd level and we could not hear any engine noise. The windows slid open so that we could sit on the bed looking straight out at Halong Bay - a beautiful sight to wake up to! Over all we were very happy with the service Bhaya provided.

tranquil one night cruise in beautiful nature”
It was my 5th cruise experience in Halong bay and it was also my 2nd time with Bhaya. I have tried 4 different cruises, some of which were more expensive than Bhaya and the rest, almost the same as Bhaya. Bhaya offered the best food of the 4 so I returned to Bhaya this time. Unfortunately the food offered was not as good as the last time - both quantity and variation wise. However, it was still good. They don't do some snacks, cake and pastries as good as savoury dinner dishes (I wish morning and lunch on the 2nd day had been better) but you would probably feel the same even on a different cruise. Staff were nice and helpful. I like the fact that they didn't 'display' their tip box right in the middle of the dining room (some cruises did it and it was such put off to see tip craving in the beautiful scenery).

Great experience”
This cruise's greatest asset is definitely the staff, in particular the fantastic cruise manager (this was on Bhaya Classic I). They were so welcoming, fun, friendly and helpful. Even though Halong Bay is very heavily touristed, we saw very few boats other than Bhaya's own - they definitely make an effort to stay away from the crowds. The only slight disappointment for us was our cabin, especially the bathroom. Ours was clean but definitely in need of some maintenance. I can only assume that the quality of the cabins differ depending on which boat you are on. Because of the great staff and the relative privacy of the cruising locations, we would definitely recommend Bhaya to others.

Halong Bay Cruise offers fun for everyone”
Our stay with the Halong Bhaya Cruise, though short, was rather sweet. The program included all meals which were well-catered for. The transfer included pick-ups and drop-offs at various hotels - it was well coordinated and we did not experience any undue delays. All in all a very enjoyable and relaxing stay, which we would be happy to recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi and the Halong Bay.

Highlight of our trip”
The 3D2N cruise with Bhaya Premium was the highlight of our trip. We had 2 connecting rooms, one with a double and the other with twin beds. The cruise manager and his team provided superb service and were quick to assist when the kids were a little sea sick on the second day. We enjoyed the food and all activities on board. Safety precautions, e.g. wearing life jackets for all water activities, were taken at all times. We had no problems arranging for the Bhaya shuttle bus back to Hanoi and food allergies via e-mail. Highly recommended.

Outstanding experience for even the most adventurous/ non tourist searching couples ”
My boyfriend and I are backpacking Southeast Asia ( Cambodia, Laos , Vietnam and Thailand). This cruise was the “splurge” of our trip but I would not have done ha long bay any other way! No matter what sort of adventure or leisure vacation you want - bhaya cruise is the way to go. Amazing location , food and staff . Perfect 3 day and two nights in paradise

pleasant stay!”
It was a nice experience of halong Bay, Bhaya Cruise has its own place in halong to stay at night away from crowds/other cruise. Poor internet connectionThey set up a special dinner for us in our cabin's balcony. Thanks Bhaya Cruise!

Nice cruise on the bay”
Amazing time, great views! It rained both days, but it was still very lovely. The crew was amazing and attentive. The food is really top notch, especially dinner. Our room was very nice and the water is hot. We were provided rain parkas for off boat activities in the rain, which was nice. My friend was on a different boat the same day and they got very wet! Wifi did not work anywhere on the boat, ever. At times activities seemed a little rushed. I don't think this has anything to do with Bhaya, just HaLong Bay in general. There are so many tourists.

amazing! well worth the extra $$”
5 star accomodation while crusing through Halong Bay. Bhaya have many ships and we were put on the quality Au Co boat. Originally I had booked wanting the old junket experience but after crusing with Au Cu I have no complaints! Upon arrival we decided to change cabins which was no problem at all. The delux room was large but due to being at the Bow its' balcony was high, contained kayaks and obstructed our view of the sea. The standard cabin had wonderful views and chairs and tables on it's balcony. The mid-level bar was awesome as was the elegant dinning room for each 5 course meal. Style all the way! My only suggestion would be to have more authentic Vietnamese meals or at least a choice between two meals rather than the set menu. Other than that, AWESOME!

Excellent, but don't book the Royal Suite”
I booked a suite, thinking I had scored a great price for two people. However, after an email from Bhaya, I realised I had accidentally booked for one and had to pay for the second person. Whilst everything about this trip was really great, it was not worth the money we spent. Yes, it was partly my fault, but paying upwards of $550 US for one night wasn't necessary. A standard room on this ship got you the same everything; we just had a small balcony (and the weather wasn't nice enough to use it) and a small bottle of (bad) champagne. I 100% recommend Bhaya, just don't book the suite! The food was superb, the room very comfortable, the staff friendly and easy to understand (our tour guide, Cong, was also very funny!), and the inclusions were great.

Great Ship”
We really enjoyed the Bhaya Cruise we took for 3 days and 2 nights. Food was very good (I was a little concerned) drinks reasonably priced. The activities were well planned and if you didn't feel like participating you didn't feel pressured to join. All of the cruise ships (every company) have been painted white (government regulations) so the pictures on the website should be changed.

Nice Cruise in Halong Bay”
We are the second time to join Bhaya for Halong Bay trip. Before the trip, the company ask us whether we upgrade to their sister company AuCo but we refused. Finally we found out that the 3D2N usually in AuCo while 2D1N in Bhaya. Nevertheless, Bhaya still make special arrangement to us other than 2D1N guests. And the second night on Bhaya we got room upgrade with balcony and bathtub. We appreciate very friendly staff and we will chose Bhaya again if we visit Halong Bay in future.

Amazing one night, two day cruise. Could not ask for better customer service.”
We did the 1 night 2 day cruise. The boat was great and clean and the rooms were nice with wonderful AC. Out of all the other boats we saw this looked the nicest, and it took us far from the normally congested area of Ha Long Bay. The staff was wonderful and attentive the whole time. We kayaked, swam, and did the cooking and tai chi classes. The staff really went out of their way to make you feel welcome and important, which definitely added to the experience. The food was pretty good and a good variety. I only wish we would have done the two night cruise to get a more full experience, but if you are short on time the 1 night cruise was definitely worth it.
