pros The owner is very helpful and responds fast The best view of the island Great pool The staff can speak english well If you plan to go island hopping, this place is very near the meeting point The breakfast is good cons difficult road 7/11 is a bit far so make sure to bring everything you need food is a bit pricey which is expected -We chose this place because of the view and we were amazed by it. It's definitely worth the price. We loved the pool tooand the view from our room is superb. Just make sure to buy everything you need though. They have a free shuttle at a given time or you could also rent a motorcycle for 24hrs from them. We surely enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Quiet Place with Fantastic Views”
I have stayed in many places in Koh Chang. I booked through the internet and had no reservations about paying in full before arrival. I was very surprised by the friendly greeting. The staff were lovely and helpful. We just had a standard room and I was so happy to find somewhere that I was allowed to take my little dog. She is old and quiet and I understand some places don't like pets as they can be noisy and dirty - luckily my dog isn't. The views from the resort are amazing - you can see the ocean, mountains, Bang Bao Pier - all the bay. It was wonderful. There are some steps to go down to the resort from the car park. This may make it tricky for people with walking difficulties. However, I think this added to the character and charm of the resort. It was a natural and cosy environment with wonderful gardens - don't worry, this does not mean lots of bugs and mosquitoes, we only saw a few ants. The room was spacious and very clean. Air con worked well - I had to turn up the temperature )). There was a fridge and hot water shower. The pillows were soft and comfortable. The bed was firm. The only thing I would have liked extra was a kettle and cups to make a cup of tea. Otherwise, thank you very much for a lovely 2 night stay.

Relaxing Place with very friendly staff”
We finally stayed 2 nights in the Thai Villa Seaview room at this nice and relaxing place close to Bang Bao Bay. The location is quit, clean and the staff extremely friendly. They bring you everywhere around Bang Bao Bay (e.g. Pier of Bang Bao, Beach etc.) because this Place is hard to reach by car due to bad road condition. Food is okay and the rooms clean. + Boat service + Pool and Seaview + Food quality (Breakfast/ Dinner) + Staff member - accessabilty by car - Beds are a bit to hard

Nice little resort”
the bhuvarin is a nice little resort, on the southern end of koh chang island, located opposite bang bao village across the bay. when trying to find the resort, follow the sign posts from the main road, and do continue after the nirvana resort, even when the road gets unpaved! it is another 900 meters further. the hotel is located down on the water front, with a nice deck overlooking the water. staff will take care that your luggage gets down the 70 stairs. rooms are ok, rather basic, and be prepared for hard beds. nice view over the bay. breakfast is freshly cooked, with fresh fruit, eggs. the hotel offers boat service across the bay to ban bao village of beaches on the other side.

perfect escape for us but! lots of stairs”
We spent a week ar Bhuvarin unwinding. The owner, Mix and his lovely girlfriend looked after our every need.They arranged scooter rental, snorkelling tour, fishing and even our bus to Bangcock. A logtail boat is available to take you to the fishing village or beach whenever you wish. If your knees or health says avoid stairs take this into consideration as there are over 150 leading up to the main road. A small effort for a great escape.

Really enjoyed my stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Wonderful views over the bay. Hotel is quite isolated with only a handful of other properties within easy walking distance (which I felt added to its charm), but can arrange transport into the local village. Good food in the restaurant. A very relaxing setting, currently with a smallish plunge pool, but a large pool and additional rooms now under construction. Site is quite hilly with a number of steps and a steep access road, so probably less suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Relaxed resort on the coast”
The room is nice and clean, comfortable bed, fast internet and nice view to the sea. Staff was very helpful, they can help you with booking of motorbike or boat tours and tickets. Apart from the swimming pool, you won't be able to swim too much at the resort because the coast line is quite rough around this area of the island.

A beautiful hotel but will it stay that way”
The hotel is fantastic, we were there in the off season so had the place nearly to ourselves. Because of the location they provide a taxi to drop you off and pick you up but it really is no big deal, we walked a couple of time, or rent a motorbike which is what most people do. My only concern is that my first night was interrupted by ants on my pillow. The staff were professional and dealt with it well but my concern is will they be able to fend off the advances of nature in the future as the hotel is located close to the forest so expect the lovely sounds and sometimes monkeys

A few steps to the sea”
Clean and comfort room, warm and friendly staff, good service. Free kayak. It's just far away to the main road and difficult to find, you'd better to ask the hotel staff to pick you up at the dock/wharf in the opposite of the bay.

Holiday”
it was my first hotel in Koh Chang. Very little privacy with other rooms and the location was too far and hard to find the hotel. Service wasn't very good. There are other better hotels with that price.

Quiet and peaceful and a great "off the beaten path" location. Close to pleasant seafood restaurants via resort provided transportation. Amazing sunrise view!

Good service , difficult to access”
It s a quite nice resort. Excellent service mind Room is clean and fine , free boat from resort to the beach and restaurants every 2 hrs Problems ; very difficult to go because it s not a paved road And it took us 10-15 mins driving from resort to the main road Anyway we get healthier coz we climbed the 200 stairs from the reception to the gate , twice a day

Quiet, relaxing, convenient”
Family owned hotel, and the personal service and relaxed atmosphere reflect that! Away from party central, and initially difficult to get to, but the free ferry pick-ups and drop-offs make up for that. The view and atmosphere is amazing! Although note that it is NOT a 5-star place.
