Staff are friendly and room is great”
We enjoyed our stay at Big Apple Hotel and Bar. Staffs are friendly, accommodating and response immediately to our request. Room are spacious and big, with daily housekeeping. Most especially, its accessible and only minutes away from airport, shopping malls and restaurants. Will definitely recommend to my friends.

Pleasant hotel, but noisy bar under room 201”
The overall staffing standard has improved since our stay last year and made our stay mostly pleasurable. However, the owners should decide if they are in the entertainment business or the accommodation business. Room 201 is above the ground floor bar, and is subject to hours of karaoke bass pounding during the afternoon and evening - avoid this room if you need peace and quiet! Also noise related was the constantly overflowing toilet cistern that staff were unable to rectify. Breakfast was enjoyable and tasty, and the top floor restaurant staff did a great job of caring for our needs. We choose to stay at Big Apple for its location, and there is a variety of shops within walking distance.

Efficient hotel with good customer service”
Our stay was comfortable, and the hotel was clean, through I saw two cockroaches. Food was great and staff was super friendly. Hotel is not walkable to Damosa gateway, so you need to take taxi for short drive to restaurants, banks and shopping mall. I like thatot is quoeter than downtown Davao which is more congested than this hotel which isin Lanang. Hotel is near airport which is a plus. I recommend the hotel for it is good value considering location, relative cleanliness, good service and great food.

nice clean hotel”
this was a lovely hotel it was very clean and the staff were very good. it was not far from the airport and it was not to far away from the city of davao . there was a good resteraunt in the hotel and a bar . the food was good , and it was a very good breakfast , it was comfortable to sleep , and it was very good value for the money . i would recomend it and surly i would stay there again . there is a shopping mall nearbye , also it was very easy to get a taxi

Great hotel close to airport and good restaurants”
we was coming late and leaving early next morning so we decided to book this hotel because of airport vicinity and the price. we was both delighted by the room and bathroom comfort. additional things like minibar, room safety box, wifi,... walking distance from good restaurants... before we used to stay in higher category hotels there but from now on for sure will go back to apple.... we didn't have breakfast so i don't know how was the food....

Very nice hotel with excellent staff and service”
We failed to mention that we had a baby. The hotel went out of there way to buy a cot and cradle for our child's comfort. The staff make this hotel. The hotel doesn't try to boast 5 star status in the building but what it does offer is a very warm welcome. Clean establishment with daily room changes and nice comfortable rooms. The food was excellent. We recommend the tuna soup. Was my particular favourite with the lemongrass and ginger aroma and taste still fresh in my mind. It's the staff that make this place. The service is 5 star quality. The value was very affordable and I will definitely look nowhere else when I choose to holiday in Davao again next year. The location was very accessible to all the malls and parks and the bustling town and of purse the ferry crossing to Samil Island My thanks to all the staff for making my holiday do memorable

Very nice hotel a near airport”
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Nice room, nice staff, near the airport. A little far from downtown, but there are plenty of restaurants and the SM mall Lanang which are within walking distance. There were slightly cheaper options in Davao, but this place is worth a few extra dollars.

Good hotel, some ignorant guests”
It is usually a pleasure to stay at Big Apple Hotel, but this visit was spoilt by kids running around, screaming and slamming doors until midnight on our first night; our second night was disturbed by a very loud cell phone conversation/argument in the corridor outside our room. Hotel staff could have been more alert to the noise and taken some action to quieten things instead of me having to do it! Other than the noise problems, the standard and performance of the staff and hotel is good and we plan to return for another visit later in the year - hopefully sharing with guests who are more considerate.

Quaint Hotel near airport ”
This hotel is ideally situated near the airport on a long stretch of road with many vendors. The staff is cordial and the room is clean. The free breakfast was very good and prepared in a timely manner. There is a coffee lounge on the premises and there is a computer with internet access at the price of 25 pesos an hour. * Good hotel to book your visit in Davao.

Cost Efficient Hotel with good location”
The Hotel is very near the Davao Airport around 10mins travel time. It's also 5 mins away from the commercial centers in Davao. Rooms are clean and spacious. Hotel's staff are very accommodating and helpful. The Hotel offers very good food at a very affordable price in their in-house restaurants. Must recommend for budget travelers.

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Big Apple Hotel. The ease of checking in was second to none. The staff was very friendly and professional. The only complaint is the location, although it wasn't really that hard to find transportation.

Small Hotel, but clean and lovley”
we stayed here on our last day. we did not spend overnight but wanted to upon seeing the wonderful bed. we love how the hotel was built. it was small but very comfortable. we were greeted by nice staff of the hotel. we only stayed there for 4 hours but we were able to relax before our flight. we love it there and if ever we will go back in davao we will choose this hotel. it was new and clean.

Clean, Tidy, Nice Hotel”
overall the hotel was good and i felt represented good value for money as was well priced for what you received. the hotel was well located for avoiding the busy city as i was traveling back to australia the next day and it was very close to the airport. i found it to be very clean & tidy though the room wasn't big it was certainly functional and comfortable. the staff were pleasant and helpful. the wifi internet worked well and i certainly would stay again.

Hotel was good and safe”
I moved hotels to be closer to airport and selected the Big Apple. Location wise is ok but a good walk to shopping and other activities. Morning breakfast was good. Staff was very good and professional. It wasn't too far from ferry to go to Samal Island. Just a short taxi ride. Rooms were good but seemed dated. The only negative is there is a club downstairs and the crowd looked young and local. Music was loud and I could hear from my room on second floor. Queen bed that was comfortable and small bathroom, but good hot water and pressure. Staff was excellent and polite. Always felt safe.

Great Value”
I was only staying in Davao for 2 days so really wanted a place close to the airport and an easy point to get to the 2 new malls- SM Premier and Abreza. From the airport it took me 10 min flat to arrive at the front door- I timed it. In a matter of minutes from walking in the door I was in my room, excellent service all around, dining staff, security guards, room service, front desk- they all did an excellent job. A good value, and I will use them again when I want to be close to the airport.

a nice hotel”
after a flight , this hotel is a lovely place to stay . the staff are very good and its a clean hotel with good security . the rooms are quite nice and the beds are comfortable . it has a resteraunt as well , and the food is good . you get a very good breakfast as well.there is a mall near bye if you need any shopping . it is not to far from the city . all in all it is a very nice hotel ,and i would reccomend anyone to stay there .

Great service, nice staff, fantastic wifi access!”
The hotel is near Davao airport. It may seem small outside since the hotel entrance is on its side facing the road but it has ample of rooms. The staffs are all friendly and cozy. What I love most about the hotel is it's internet connectivity. It has a wifi router on whatever room you are in so you are still connected with your transactions from the internet. I will definitely go back to this hotel.
