My only problem was with agora —- not the property. I was charged after I was told my card wouldn’t go thru::::::so I called agora twice and they hung up on me twice- Do not use agoda. Use hotels .com

Not too bad”

It’s an average hotel but the wall AC was so noisy felt like there was a truck in the room. It was difficult to sleep because of that otherwise things were all right

Great experience from check in to check out. ”

Our experience was great. Our check in process was very friendly and quick. Our TV didn't work when we first arrived but the guy came right over and fixed himself without any issues. The room was very nice with a fireplace and kichenette. Good location to many walkable places. Plenty of parking for our large truck. The only thing I would recommend would be ear plugs and eye mask because the large window is not dual pane and the blinds do not keep out any light.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR”

I can’t think of anything good besides the price. When we first walked into the room we could hear the neighbors talking/using their microwave as if they were in our room. the beds had no support, just felt like laying on a box of springs. The bathroom was so small and ran down/dirty. The floors and walls were dirty and you could definitely tell they didn’t keep up on cleaning around the room. I would never stay there again.

Loved it!”

We loved the Big Pines Mountain House! Our room had a kitchenette, so we were able to cook some food and make tea in the morning. That was great! We also loved being able to park for free at the site., and being within walking distance of restaurants and bars. We highly recommend it!

Great Location”

The price was good for popular festival weekend and location couldn't be better. Room was very clean. Building is old though so wouldn't want to be staying there multiple nights. Under same circumstances (one night in and out of Tahoe) would stay there again.

Super unhelpful staff, room is acceptable”

We booked a room for 4 people on Agoda, then when we arrived there was only 1 bed. We told the front desk that our reservation was for 4 people, which they confirmed, but they told us that they couldn't put more than 1 rollaway bed in the room. They were really unhelpful and didn't work to accommodate us at all. Eventually we were able to get into a room with a King bed and had to sleep 3 people in that. They just said that it's Agoda's fault and it was a common occurrence, but put no effort into resolving it.

Very loud, super thin walls I could hear the room next to ours complete conversation. ”

The room was decent, the bed was stiff but I think that’s because it was newer that’s about the only plus. The bathroom had hand prints on the walls that hadn’t been cleaned from the previous people, and when you looked at the bottom of the shower there were red dots that looked like blood, there was a hole in the door as if someone had punched it. And when you check in the front desk staff were completely rude and they rushed us as we were asking questions about the area as if we were completely bothering them. We won’t be staying here again.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Not a lot of parking and the breakfast they offer sucked.

Good location but old small hotel”

Good location beside the other affordable hotels. Few awalks away from the back of harveys. It needs renovation especially the bathroom. The lady in the front desk, long haired, could be more friendlier. I booked 2 rooms and asking for 2 parking permits and she said there's only 1. I made it clear if it's 1 per room and she said yes then how come we only have 1?? Shout out to the guy who was in the front desk at night. He's very accomodating and even fixed our key card.

Needs repair”

For what they are charging for these rooms, it is ridiculous. Although the bedding and bath appeared clean there was all kinds of water damage in the bath. Rotting wood next to the shower is just gross.

Great place to stay”

Its one of those places where you think at fisrt ,wooo this is not for me i want something fancy. But no , from the front desk it smells good pretty clean. Easy check in. Room super clean stock with everything you need. We requested some towels lest than 5 min they were in the room. Good air conditioner,warm pool and walking distance to the beach. Will totally come back and recomend to friends
