Friendly and nice hostel”

Good location to get to the main places in Osaka. The free renting bike deal in the hostel is really convenient. You can go to the castle by foot in less then 15min. The people are really nice is the guesthouse. It is clean and they clean every morning but silently to let you sleep ;)

Great location with free use of bike and free breakfast ”

There are actually total 24 beds instead of 12 bed described in Agoda. The shared bathroom and toilet are separated and where are just outside the bed room only. The hostel is clean, free breakfast (toast and coffee /tea only). The staffs are helpful and fluent in English. The hostel is about 5 minutes walk from Tanimachiyonchome Station and approx. 15 min walk to Osaka Castle. There are many restaurants, cafes and convenience stores nearby which provide variety choice of food yet reasonable and affordable price.

Very cosy, quiet hostel with really accommodating staff. ”

It’s a great little place. The main floor has a bar/cafe which is great first thing in the morning and later in the evening when you’re first waking up and finishing your evening explorations. The mixed dorm bunk rooms were very quiet. Considering a hostel is as loud as your roommates can be, I found most people to be respectful of others surroundings. Very much appreciated. It was also very cool in the evening as during the day it had been incredibly humid when visiting Osaka. So nice to sleep and not be sweating during the night. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to friends.

The hotel location is about 6 - 7 min walk to Tanimachiyonchome, 10 min walk to Osaka Castle and within 15 min walk to Temmabashi Station for Keihan Railway to Kyoto . Many 24 hours convenient store and variety choices of cafe and restaurant nearby. Recommend you Sugiya where serve rice with beef/pork/chicken topping at very cheap price. If you look for good quality local authentic food, not to miss small Japanese Wakashi which is located at Tanimachi 2 Chome (opposite Starbucks) about 10 min walk from the hostel.

The bed is bigger than all capsule room in general”

The bed is really big as shown in the photos. Plenty of room to sit and tidy up your luggage. Close to Osaka castle and Nakanoshima. You can leave your luggage in the hostel. The shower room is really small. Usually there is individual shower room where you can put clothes down and use the shower. But here you have to take off all your clothes in the public and use the shower room. Quite inconvenient. I hope a bicycle lock can be given to lock the rented bike. Since the hostel is close to Osaka castle, it would be great to rent a bike and visit the castle, lock the bike and go up the castle. But since a lock is not available, this is not possible. The owner was not very helpful, simply said that going up the castle was not recommended.

Great Place for a Solo Traveller”

My flight was delayed because of the typhoon and I was only able to check in around 5.30am despite the last check in time being 10pm. They're quite flexible about it. Bathrooms and toilets were always clean. Breakfast was nice and all the staff speak fluent English. I mostly had good experiences with the staff but there are a couple who weren't that friendly. Wi-Fi was fast and the hostel is in a great location. Didn't like the thin walls though but everything else was great. Drinks at the bar were great too!

The hotel is located at a quiet area but there are still many cafes, restaurants, convenience stores nearby with variety choice of food. The Tanimachiyonchome station is only 5 minutes walk. Overall the hostel is clean and value for money.

Worthy for the price, more close to a setting in Europe than Japanese style. The bed is comfy, but thought it is a pity not to have a private locker nearby the bed to put valuable stuff. A little bit noisy from neightbours till late night.

Good place for backpackers”

Valued for money for sure. It was clean and accomodating. Only that the hallwAy was a bit narrow and not enough place to unpack things from backpack. so it was kinda hard to pass if there is person unpack his things in the hallway.

2度めの利用です。今回は台風直撃の期間にあたってしまいましたが、特に不便を感じることもなく宿泊できました。イベントのための出張で寝泊まりだけの利用でしたが、いつかラウンジスペースなども利用してみたいです。朝食のトースト&コーヒーのサービスは有り難く、また、ラウンジに集まる世界中の旅人の方々との触れ合いもあって楽しい雰囲気。お代わりOKのコーヒー、とても美味しいですよ。
