Perfect place for doing biking and to give you all the confidence and info you need before or after the trip. But what made this place extra special were the people, such a great chilled atmosphere

Costly for what you get if you only are looking for a clean room and breakfast. I still find it to be satisfactory value for money because of the super friendly staff and management. I have stayed there twice now.

Hidden gem in busy Yangon”
Looking for a stopover stay in Yangon where we would not be stuck in traffic too much when leaving early for a bus to the western beaches, we came across Bike World near the Inya lake. Tucked away at the end of a little alley next to the Swiss embassy, it turned out to be a real gem! Several nice rooms (creatively named by bike parts), a rooftop breakfast area, the yard where dinner was offered and bikes could be rented and of course the most welcoming owners!!! We instantly regretted we would not have time to make use of their bike tour service or enjoy their good food (try the pizza, it is delicous!) more but maybe we can return one day. Make sure to have their phone number and/or the GPS location available, not all taxi drivers may succeed in finding it... :-)

Comfortable. Great WiFi. Good food.”
It's a home away from home in Yangon. The owners, Jeff and Soe Soe and their lovely furry Collie and FiFi are warmly welcoming me. This is a good place for making check in late because Soe Soe will feed you with a piece of pizza while her staff photo copy passport. WiFi is strong and stable. No blackout. wonderful mattress and pillow. I also like they arranged me a personal work station opposite my room with a fan. Location can be a little dizzy for the new comer since there are 2 lanes and they are on the left. Sticker color faded out by heat and rain. If it's clearly displayed. It will be fine.

Can't speak higher if this place”
Best accommodation I think I've ever been in - somewhere I would choose to live if we moved to Yangon. Kindest staff, you meet so many interesting people, close to Inlay Lake which is more relaxing than downtown, excellent facilities and breakfast, and if you're around on a Sunday you can opt to go on a bike ride of the Yangon countryside - great experience on its own even if you're not staying here. Very knowledgeable owners too so always had great conversations! Serve great pizzas too and they make their own bases and bread. Just epic.

Many nice small touches that I never see in other Myanmar hotels!”
Highly recommended. Bike World offered me many nice small touches that I never see in other Myanmar hotels: re-usable water bottles, excellent reading lamps, plastic shower puffs, easy-to-access electricity plugs, lots of luggage storage... Plus I felt right at home among the other guests at Bike World. At first I thought everyone there would be a biker, but it wasn't true. So many interesting people passing through all the time. Maybe the most interesting people are the owners. They always have a kind word and a helpful hint. I really felt welcome.

I love staying here the staff are very friendly and polite. You are made to feel totally at home. Soe Soe and Jeff are exceptional hosts and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are modern and clean with good hot showers, safe, TV and air conditioning. Food is also excellent Soe Soe and the girls make home made breads for breakfast and Fresh Pizza is also available in the evenings. Best Pizza in Yangon. I forgot to mention the Biking Jeff has the best bikes for rent in Myanmar and there is nothing he doesn't know about biking in Myanmar. He can organise you your own tour or you can join thim and his friends on a friday night and sunday day. I am not a biking person but I did do the friday night and totally enjoyed it it is suitable for all standards. This was my 3rd year with them so I think that says it all and I will be back

Best independent hotel in Myanmar ”
I love staying here it's a real family atmosphere run by Auntie Soe Soe and Jeff. They have delicious home cooked food. I recommend Auntie Soes and Amy's home baked breads for breakfast and fresh bake pizzas. If your lucky you might be invited to a roast chicken dinner. Friday and Sunday you can join Jeff and his team on one of his bike tours. Smile will do your laundry and it comes back beautifully ironed

Exception hospitality”
Aye Soe Soe goes out of her way to provide a warm welcome and a comfortable experience, making her guests feel like a family. I appreciated this a lot when travelling on my own. The chance to hire bike and explore the countryside outside Yangon was also fantastic, and to end the day with freshly cooked pizza and cold beer. I did not want to leave.

Very good choice. ”
Soe Soe is your mom while staying here! She's really interested in your happiness, and takes genuine good care of her guests. It's a quiet location, but not "in town" if that matters to you. They can call a taxi or you can walk 7 minutes to the main road and catch a cab there. Then its about 15 minutes to downtown. It also only took 15 minutes to get to the airport, but that was at 10:00pm. Would take longer mid-day. My nephew and I did the Friday Night group bike ride which was exhilarating and very unusual. But be careful out there! We really enjoyed our stay.

I am not normally a creature of habit but I wouldn't want to stay any where else. Fantastic Hospitality which is very personal something you don't find in the 5 star hotels. Awesome Food especially the home made bread pizza and roast chicken, I can certainly recommend the Friday evening group bike ride round the city. 😍🍞🍕🍪🚴

My Third Visit to Bike World - and More to Come”
Service, Information on sightseeing and travel and cycling, Helpfulness of owners and staff
I really enjoy coming to Bike World - this is my third time. The owners, Jeff and Soe Soe are very helpful and very nice. Breakfasts are great. Many other guests are interesting to talk to - this is a place where you can meet other adventurous travelers. Especially touring cyclists. It feels very safe, no worries. The beds are comfortable. Everything is very clean, and well maintained. Wi-Fi is generally OK, maybe not great, but after all, this is Myanmar. It's a little far away from the center, so for people who want their hotel to be "downtown", this isn't . But it's quite easy and not expensive to get a taxi to get to the sightseeing places. Overall, I love it, and keep coming back. (I do volunteering in Myanmar, and come about once a year.)

Great respite for a run down cyclist”
Pampering Food Inclusion
If I'd known how good it was going to be, I would of booked a later flight and overstayed my visa. I was run down after three months on the road, and after my stay with, Soe Soe, Jeff and staff, I was on the mend. They obviously could sense what I needed because it wasn't a case of, here are the keys and see you later, I was included in their life, so the stay there had a very personal touch.

A hidden gem ”
Great Bikes, home made bread, pizza, and not to forget great staff and lovely owners
I had landed on my feet finding this hidden gem. It wasn't long after I arrived I joined the Friday night bike tour of Yangon. Having not ridden a bike in about 5 years I joined in the group which was made up of quite a few local Burmese cyclist who I am sure we're training for the next olympics and some tourists. It was extremely well organised and there was always some one at the back to pick up the slower few ie me. You couldn't wish to meet a nicer couple Soe Soe and Jeff who own bike world. They really go out of there way to make you feel welcome. When they were away their manageress Amy took care, making sure we had home baked bread for breakfast and home made pizza in the evening. It was the nearest thing I got to calling home while I was in Myanmar for the month

Feeling at home in Yangon”
Staff, breakfast, homeiness
Since I was traveling alone in Myanmar -- a place I had never been -- I arrived in Yangon a bit nervous, but the owner, immediately made me feel at home, chatting and introducing me to other guests. I had originally booked a room with a shared bathroom, but because no one was occupying a room with a private bathroom, she upgraded me. (I did not ask, she just gave me the upgrade.) I was leaving the evening after I arrived on a night bus, and told me to leave my things in the room, come back and get ready before my bus trip. Essentially, I had use of the room for an extra day. Breakfast involved seemingly every fruit available in Myanmar. an extremely generous and friendly host. Bike World is not fancy, but it felt like in about five minutes.

Fantastic! ”
The bike activities, the hospitality of the owners and the family environment
Our stay in this b&b was the highlight of our trip! Aunty Soe Soe treated us like old friends, we chatted till late at night over tea and sunflower seeds! She gave us suggestions on where to go and even provided us handwritten directions in Burmese so we can show the taxi drivers. I will definitely stay here again as I loved the bicycle tours by Jeff and the warm hospitable nature of Aunty Soe Soe and the whole crew!
