10 out of 10!”
As 2 independent female travelers, one arriving from Amsterdam and the other from Melbourne, Bike World Myanmar Bed, Breakfast & Bike Inn was the perfect place to meet before we set off on our 5 internal flights, very efficiently booked by So-So, finishing our trip back at Bike World. Nothing was any trouble and we felt very much at home! A stay with So-So and Jeff is a MUST when staying in Yangon and I will definitely go back!

The awesome bed & breakfast I have ever found in Yangon”
Bike World Bed & Breakfast is my best choice for my short stay in Yangon. This property is owned and hosted by uncle Jeff and aunty Soe Soe. A couples who offered home away from home service. Their staff are super friendly and eager to assist you. My single room was spacious. Mattress is in excellent condition with duck feature pillow. Super fast internet and no blackout. The location is surrounded by international embassies and opposite is Inya Lake, Lotte Resort & Hotel, Market Place gourmet and Lotteria are within 1 kilometer walking distance. Onsite they bake fresh pizza i can order. I tried spaghetti with tomato sauce. It come a huge dish with juicy tomato sauce. During daytime and evening i stayed there. Aunty Soe Soe catered me with special kind of drink, Myanmar snack, Myanmar tea and finally come their pizza !!!!

Perfect introduction to Myanmar”
The traffic in Yangon is beyond shocking and getting to/from the downtown sights is an effort, but we would recommend Bike World to anyone. Great people and service, comfy rooms, very secure. Breakfast included was comprehensive, fresh and tasty. Homemade pizza and cheap, cold beers available in the evening. Be aware that getting downtown is not a matter of jumping on a borrowed bike. It's too far and the roads are very unsafe, even to cross (think Extreme Frogger). Instead a trishaw (rickshaw) to the train station and the slow train to town is recommended and a very worthwhile experience. If taking taxis around town, be prepared for long journeys and choked roads. Bike World is well-situated to airport and bus stations. Inya Lake is nearby, a short walk, and a quiet day relaxing here in the restaurants is sweet relief from the madness of downtown Yangon. Thank you once again for a great stay.

Fantastic”
I love staying here the staff are very friendly and polite. You are made to feel totally at home. Soe Soe and Jeff are exceptional hosts and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are modern and clean with good hot showers, safe, TV and air conditioning. Food is also excellent Soe Soe and the girls make home made breads for breakfast and Fresh Pizza is also available in the evenings. Best Pizza in Yangon. I forgot to mention the Biking Jeff has the best bikes for rent in Myanmar and there is nothing he doesn't know about biking in Myanmar. He can organise you your own tour or you can join thim and his friends on a friday night and sunday day. I am not a biking person but I did do the friday night and totally enjoyed it it is suitable for all standards. This was my 3rd year with them so I think that says it all and I will be back

A hidden gem ”
I had landed on my feet finding this hidden gem. It wasn't long after I arrived I joined the Friday night bike tour of Yangon. Having not ridden a bike in about 5 years I joined in the group which was made up of quite a few local Burmese cyclist who I am sure we're training for the next olympics and some tourists. It was extremely well organised and there was always some one at the back to pick up the slower few ie me. You couldn't wish to meet a nicer couple Soe Soe and Jeff who own bike world. They really go out of there way to make you feel welcome. When they were away their manageress Amy took care, making sure we had home baked bread for breakfast and home made pizza in the evening. It was the nearest thing I got to calling home while I was in Myanmar for the month

Home away from home”
My wife and I stayed at Bike World on our recent holiday in Myanmar in October 2015. The owners Soe Soe and Geoff were really lovely and made us feel so welcome. It was an oasis in the crazy city of Yangon where we could return and relax after exploring. Nothing was a problem for Bike World and the staff great. It really felt like home base. We would not hesitate to recommend Bike World as a great place and safe to stay away from the mess of the city centre. Thanks Soe Soe and Geoff. Alison and Tom - Melbourne Australia

amazing hospitality”
We chose Bike World Myanmar, as it had excellent reviews and they are well justified. After the initial 10-day stay we extended our stay for a few more days, as we were in search of long-term accommodation. The rooms are quite compact but very well equipped. There is a fridge, AC, nets on the windows, nice bathroom. Breakfasts are well balanced. The only issue we experienced was once an Internet blackout for a couple of days but this is during the monsoon season and this is out of direct control of the hotel staff. The hotel makes delicious pizzas. The nicest thing has been the wonderful service with big smiles. Thank you very much to the hotel staff!

Wonderful staff,comfortable atmosphere,great times”
When I arrived, I asked where to get dinner, and instead of telling me Soso and Jeff drove me to a great local restaurant and helped me get vegetarian food, then took me to go get ice cream. Every morning, the wonderful staff would make me breakfast, regardless of when I got up, Soso would help me plan my day, tell me where to go and how to get there, and order me a taxi when I was ready. The breakfasts were a great way to meet fellow travelers as well, and I made some great friends from around the world. Every night, I would come back and stay up late talking with Soso. Soso would always offer me bikes to explore, and although I missed the bike rides (Friday night and Sunday morning), it's a good reason to come back. BBB Inn made my stay in Myanmar great, I am so thankful to Soso, Jeff, and all the girls!

My Third Visit to Bike World - and More to Come”
I really enjoy coming to Bike World - this is my third time. The owners, Jeff and Soe Soe are very helpful and very nice. Breakfasts are great. Many other guests are interesting to talk to - this is a place where you can meet other adventurous travelers. Especially touring cyclists. It feels very safe, no worries. The beds are comfortable. Everything is very clean, and well maintained. Wi-Fi is generally OK, maybe not great, but after all, this is Myanmar. It's a little far away from the center, so for people who want their hotel to be "downtown", this isn't . But it's quite easy and not expensive to get a taxi to get to the sightseeing places. Overall, I love it, and keep coming back. (I do volunteering in Myanmar, and come about once a year.)

The Only Place to Stay”
This was easily the best place we stayed in Myanmar. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious with air con, a fridge, safe, TV, and hot water. Bike World is close to Inya Lake, which is very pretty, and a short taxi ride from Shwedagon Pagoda or downtown. There is a fantastic pizza service downstairs, which is delicious, and a fantastic free breakfast with omelettes, toast, fruit, jam, tea and coffee. There are also bike tours on Friday and Sunday, as well as bikes to hire for solo rides. In addition to all of this, the best thing by far was the wonderful, generous hospitality offered by Jeff, Soe Soe and the rest of the staff. They do absolutely everything to make your stay a great one, and we can't recommend them highly enough. Don't even think about staying anywhere else.

Wonderful as always (since I knew them)”
Actually I live in Yangon nowadays. I went to stay at Bike World Inn on the day my apartment was blackout for one whole night and continually on the next day. I ran out of mobile phone battery and power bank also dead. So, I thought of coming for a night stay at BWI since it is located close to Yangon University and taxi fare is only 1,500 kyat or I can walk. Aunty Soe Soe, uncle Jeff, their 4-legged daughters, Collie and Fi-Fi and staffs were friendly and attentive as always. Breakfast was wonderful with a new view from rooftop on their newly built building. Their standard room was my favourite choice. It was spacious than money I paid for. Internet was fast. Everything was great.

Hidden gem in busy Yangon”
Looking for a stopover stay in Yangon where we would not be stuck in traffic too much when leaving early for a bus to the western beaches, we came across Bike World near the Inya lake. Tucked away at the end of a little alley next to the Swiss embassy, it turned out to be a real gem! Several nice rooms (creatively named by bike parts), a rooftop breakfast area, the yard where dinner was offered and bikes could be rented and of course the most welcoming owners!!! We instantly regretted we would not have time to make use of their bike tour service or enjoy their good food (try the pizza, it is delicous!) more but maybe we can return one day. Make sure to have their phone number and/or the GPS location available, not all taxi drivers may succeed in finding it... :-)

My favorite place to stay in Yangon”
Excellent! This was my favorite place to stay in Myanmar. The location is between the airport and downtown so it is out of the craziness. The rooms are large with a comfortable bed and nice hot showers. Breakfast includes generous amounts of fresh fruit, eggs cooked however you'd like and freshly baked breads. The owners, Jeff and Soe Soe provide a home like experience. In addition to providing food and lodging they take care to make sure you have plans for lunch and dinner. We did Bike World's Sunday bike ride. Two of the riders chose the more difficult 11 hills ride while the rest of us biked to a reservoir and went swimming. An excellent way to start our Myanmar adventure.

Very welcoming B&B”
An excellent journey in B&B Bike World Myanmar: great advice given by the owners to visit Yangon and to have information on burmese life. Nice atmosphere. Comfortable, clean and quiet rooms. Nice neighbourhood with small town streets behind the B&B. Rapid access to airport, bus station Aung Mingalar and downtown by use of taxis used as common transport means in Yangon. Close to Inya Lake.

A little bit of luxury”
Bike World Bed and Breakfast Inn is really a great place to stay. We arrived exhausted from a long trip and got shown to our room. The room was a good size with nice big windows. It was very clean and we were given free bottled water. The safebox was also a pleasant addition, not that we would have needed it. The staff were very friendly, as were the fellow residents. There was a nice area to sit outside and chat, and often you were joined by the friendly dog, who welcomed a pat or two. The surrounding area is very safe too, with easy taxi links to downtown. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back for some bike rides!

Friendliest place in Myanmar!”
Bike world is the best guest house I have stayed at Soe Soe is like a mother - she always makes sure you are well fed and you're well taken care of. She knew my name as soon as I arrived, and mapped out my entire trip in Myanmar. She even got me a last-minute plane ticket to Bagan at a reasonable price. Her staff is great too, and works tirelessly. The entire guest house is spotless, and they have eggs and toast ready as soon as you wake up. Bike World is ideal for a solo traveler like myself. I ended up meeting other guests in the common area who I spent the day with. The whole place felt like home!

Many nice small touches that I never see in other Myanmar hotels!”
Highly recommended. Bike World offered me many nice small touches that I never see in other Myanmar hotels: re-usable water bottles, excellent reading lamps, plastic shower puffs, easy-to-access electricity plugs, lots of luggage storage... Plus I felt right at home among the other guests at Bike World. At first I thought everyone there would be a biker, but it wasn't true. So many interesting people passing through all the time. Maybe the most interesting people are the owners. They always have a kind word and a helpful hint. I really felt welcome.

Feel like home”
The location was awesome. It was situated in a secure and upscale compound surrounding by several embassies. Quiet and peaceful yet across the road is Inya Lake with walkover bridge to the greenery park great for morning walk and exercises. Bike World B&B offers a very friendly hospitality from owner to staff level. Aunty Soe Soe, Amie and those Myanmar names I forgot and little cuddles Colly and Phi Phi welcome me like home. Their linen is same class as I can find in 4 & 5 stars hotels. Good mattress, puffy pillow. Well toiletry amenities, security safe, fridge, TV screen with satellite and many channels to watch. More than enough sockets and the owner even brought an extra before I asked for it. They also have in-house pizza for sale at a very good price. I tried salami and chorizo with my colleague then next day one more pan of salami. Really delicious with high quality ingredients. Only wonder why they rate themselves one star when their hospitality and so on should be 3 stars+.
