I stayed for just one day and needed a clean place with a good shower and toilet, a comfy bed, and some outlets to charge my devices. This place checked all those essentials. The staff were very courteous and accommodated all of my requests. Additionally the location was absolutely wonderful - I was able to take a lovely stroll in the evening to grab a curry before passing out.

I needed a place to stay - check. Check-in and Check-out was a breeze - check Semi-budget traveler looking for a luxurious hotel with a good deal. - check Lovely room for couples - check While located in a quaint and peaceful neighborhood, a few hundred meters walk to the tram, so if you plan to frequently go back to hotel in between your trips, might not be a good idea.

The location was fantastic. However, the reservation included free coffee and bottle of water in the room, none of which was provided even after speaking with the hotel staff a couple of times.

Unresponsive”
Someone at the desk assigned another couple to the same room were in. They and we were both startled when they walked in to find the room already occupied. We tried to eat at the restaurant but after being seated we were ignored by the wait staff and ended up leaving before ordering. The second day we were there our room thermostat went dead. We reported the problem and were told someone would be by to look at it but no one ever showed up. It was still broken when we left. In fairness I need to say that the restaurant offered us a free pizza (we declined) and the hotel gave us a free breakfast and waived the “resort fee” to compensate us. I would have preferred to not have had the problems to begin with.

Location was great, staff not so much. All the bikes were gone when we wanted to hire some.”
When we checked in there were 3 staff at reception. Suddenly there was only 1 in attendance although 3/4 booking arrived at the same time. Once we checked in to the "Double Deluxe" room we had paid for in advance which received payment confirmation of the Double Deluxe we went to our room to discover a Twin room. I phoned reception from the room and she advised she was checking in others and call us back. When she called me back she said she checked my reservation and said my request for a "Double Deluxe" was only a "Request" and there were no double rooms available "Now" as she had checked in other people. I advised her I had the payment confirmation with Double Deluxe and not the Double/Twin option. She then proceeded to say it was only a request and nothing she could do, told me to have a nice day and hung up the phone!! A request to me is what type of view u may have, ie a garden view / pool view not the Type of Room. She was rude and unhelpful!!!

Mouldy fridge, poor finish for a 5*. Over priced”
Lobby and outside area was beautiful, smell was lovely coming from aircon in lobby. Then went up to room. Fan was noisy, fridge was mouldy, bathroom had a poor finish and looked old and dirty, bed lamp didn't work on one side and reading lamp didn't work on the other, draught coming from windows and handle broke on wardrobe door. The only thing good was the bed in the room. Not a 5 star at all very disappointed

Building works being completed whilst we were there ”
The hotel would normally be a pleasant stay however we were not informed that there were building worlds going on and the noise from this was very loud and intrusive. We were told that booking agents like Agoda were aware so I am baffled as to why I wasn’t informed.

Really expensive deposit €50 euro per day, dated rooms, blood stained towels in the bathroom. Window was full of spiderwebs, fridge not working. However location is not bad, staff were nice and the room was a good size.

Location, value for money and over rated ”
The locations is not close to trams, communication with staff is challenging e.g. I asked for the room bill they told me to check with Agoda. They charged me for breakfast when I did not have it. Also asked me to fill a form so they can reimburse me for the breakfast charge.
