Beautiful hotel and wonderful service”
loved the hotel so much i regret i only booked for one day! definitely much better than any place on chaweng beach that is blasting with loud music and too commercial. lamai beach is close enough to chaweng yet set away being private and peaceful. we will definitely stay here again if we ever return to koh samui!

Very nice rooms for reasonable prices”
The room was very nice. It was located just near the beach, from where it was a short walk to Lamai city. We were glad that we had reserved the rooms near to the beach, so we did not had to walk up and down the steep hill every time we went to the beach or the restaurant. The service was good, the only negative point was the abilty to print: this was not possible at the reception. So we could not print our boarding cards for the plane. With all other things (including free wifi) it was good. We enjoyed it very much here at Bill resort.

Low Budget Great Location”
This is a great low budget place to stay right on the beach, less than 50 meters to the ocean. The Bungalows are older and a little rough, but the air con works good in them. Bill Resort has a nice pool and is located right on the beach. There is a restaurant at the resort that serves excellent food and is open until late. Laundry service is cheap and affordable here and you can rent a motorbike at the hotel to drive around and see the sites on the island...All prices are very competitive at the hotel. We enjoyed our stay here.

Great value resort”
Bill is a great budget resort to stay at. There was a wide buffet breakfast, beautiful pool, comfortable bed with daily cleaning and fresh towels, good beach access and located a 20 minute walk away from the main street. If you want a fancy 5 star hotel, this is not it - if you want a great bargain budget option this is fantastic.

Nice resort with pool and jungle garden”
stayed there 3 days together with my friend. it's a big resort with many rooms and a big nice garden. sea was very close but was too wavy for me so i preferred to lie next to pool that was nice and calm. lamai beach's main street was about 15-20 min walk away. with a bike u could go and see many sights nearby, some waterfalls, mummified monk, hin ta and hin yai etc. we took a standard room, it was well equipped - aircon, tv, fridge etc.

Great location on Lamai beach with nice staff”
loved the location of our deluxe bungalow which was right off of the beach. we did not have a view of the ocean (2nd row of bungalows) but we could hear the waves which was quite soothing to fall asleep to. the porch was nice to sit and read on. the bungalow was slightly dated but comfortable. a little on the small side as you could barely sit at the small provided. the bathroom was clean. it was a "wet" bathroom which i have become accustomed to in thailand but others may find odd to shower right next to the toilet. staff made up the room nicely every day. wifi and cable didn't work in the room which was a disappointment but have come to expect spotty service in thailand which is not the resorts fault. the staff was very accomodating and friendly to us. helped us arrange transport and tours and motorcycle rental. the only unpleasant people were some of the other guests which would honestly be the only reason i wouldn't return. the resort seemed to be full of older grumpy europeans and russians quick to complain about anything. other guests would claim sunbeds as early as 6am and had a couple instances where beds looked open but were instantly aggressively confronted by it's "owner." never ended up sitting by the pool. same instances with breakfast toaster ovens and tables. you would think people on holiday wouldn't be so hostile. didn't let it ruin my time and just continued to smile at everyone.

Great resort to relax ”
I enjoyed my stay at Bills Resort, i stayed near the pool ,and beach was very close to my room. the breakfast was pretty basic ,but good enough to start your day off. If you stay make sure you get a room at the bottom of the hill, its quit a walk up hill to the rooms at the top!The rooms are pretty basic ,but the beach, pool, and restaurant near beach make up for it!!!the staff were very friendly and took care of any questions that we had, and arranged motor scooters for 200bht a day. i would recommend getting scooters to explore the island and to go downtown Lamai. You can walk there in about 10-15 minutes on the beach.

Clean rooms”
The resort itself needs a major refurbishment. Although it is directly on the beach, it is a long walk from the centre, accessed from the main highway opposite Makro. The rooms were kept spotless. Staff were very helpful and friendly Pool was very nice. Didn't eat here, as room only, but a buffet breakfast was available as a part of some room deals There were some sunbeds on the beach, which we did use The resort looks like the poor relation compared with its neighbours

Lamai beach in our opinion is the nicest part of Samui It's a short walk along the beach to the centre of town

very nice beach hotel”
We stayed at Bill in june/july and really enjoyed it. Nice but a bit worn down. Perfectly lookated on the beach a short walk from the town center. The breakfast got a bit boring after a coulpe of days, did not have a lot to choose from. But Bill is a rather cheap hotel, and as always you get what you pay fore. The staff was very nice!

Nice budget hotel by the beach”
I was a bit nervous about the rooms, it was old decoration made of wood and rocks. There were mosquitoes and bugs that gets in. The aircon wasn't good enough for me. I just really like the fact that its beachfront and cheap and there's a swimming pool. Our friends stayed at lamai inn and its cheaper and beachfront as well and when you get out there are restaurants and shops. Thats the thing that bill resort lacks. It wasnt that convenient when it comes to restaurants and shops. We had a wonderful time in Koh Samui but I will not stay there again.

Jungle feel, beautiful beach and pool”
Lovely staff, room in building a bit old but still comfortable and nice as it is all wood and has this natural feel. Bar/restaurant right on beach, fairly inexpensive and offers a decent variety of food that was tasty. Would definitely consider coming back here if again in Samui in future.

Good hotel”
This hotel worked really well for us. I had read a number of reviews and found that this hotel was better than reported. The breakfast was awesome, made to order omeletes with lots of fresh fruit available along with great service. Our room was large ( new superior with air con) but was a long way from the beach and restaurant. There was about a hundred steps to get down to sea level which any disabled person or those with kids would find difficult.Wifi is or was only available near the reception area, and was listed as free but they decided to now charge for it.It is a little bit of a hike to town, better to go along the beach and then cut up into town as main road traffic makes life hazardous. Really enjoyed our stay here.

quiet and enjoy”
My stay at Bill Resort was enjoyable and relaxing. Positive note is that the bungalows are made from wood and looks nice. The hotel is near the sea, at night you can hear the waves. But with some negative notes regarding the bathroom, when you take a shower everything get wet and regarding the wooden parts of the bungalows should someone take care of, because as a time pass the wood will be destroyed. All in all, I give average mark and if I booked again, I will try another place.

quiet, peaceful, beautiful”
Really beautiful, quiet, peaceful place. The bungalows are built on a hill leading up from the beach and you feel like you are surrounded by the jungle. Nice porch to sit on. Easy beach access, the pool was really pretty (didn't use, but looked great) sort of surrounded by palm trees and plants. The beach is right there, but eroding fast and has a few LARGE boulders you need to navigate. We went a bit north or south for less water hazzard. Surf was up. Great sunrise. A not too far walk to the town, along Lamai Beach. This is the quieter less hectic beach rather than Chaweng. The staff is NOT too friendly. Really an angry, unhappy lot. Just keep away from them! no worries. Just looked at the breakfast-and definitely passed. Try the Black Pearl next door. Much better. For those of you who like to use the resorts sunbeds-there are many regulars who stay here for lengthy periods who seem to get up super early and stake their claim on all the sunbeds. Bill's probably should get more. I really liked this place. No noise, birds, butterflies, good sized bungalow, with bathroom, even a TV.

Great tropical feeling!”
We all fell in love with this place, it's natural beauty, the smell, the beach so nearby. Nice rooms, build from natural materials. Lots of timber, lovely style, tropical feeling. Nice breakfast, sometimes a bit slow in filling things up and a slow start in the morning (bit of a nuisance if you have an early start) Had several great meals in the hotels restaurant overlooking the beach, due to the rain. Mini bar and restaurant meals and massages all priced cheap! Loved our stay and will come back. (I hope for a much longer period)

Peaceful and Lovely”
This was a lovely little resort in Hat Lamai. The beach was lovely and usually fairly quiet. The huts were clean and large, really comfortable. There were not many English speaking travellers, mainly couples and families from Germany, so wasn't lively for the younger traveller. It was about a 10 minute walk into Lamai. The breakfast was lovely. Dinner was average and tended to be a bit more expensive the lamai town.
